Manifestly Unqualified (The Left's Deal With The Devil)

    http://american-rattlesnake.org/2016...ith-the-devil/

It seems as if the alternative media has rallied around the flag, which in Hillary’s case was probably purchased by benefactors like Goldman Sachs and the Gulf Arab slave state of Qatar. After all, who can resist GIRL POWER, even if it’s marshaled on behalf of someone who’s spent much of her career destroying the reputations of Bill Clinton’s comfort women? To get a sense of the cognitive dissonance at work, it’s worth reading this week’s Village Voice, which all but admits its preferred candidate is an inveterate liar, albeit one who can answer that 3 A.M. call!

By the way, does anyone else recognize the absurdity of Clinton backers running a variation on an ad which was universally panned-from a race which she lost-in order to lambast the purported shortcomings of Donald Trump? If there are any calls being made to a Clinton White House after midnight, I’m almost certain they will be made at the behest of sleazy foreign donors who want a return on their investment. That is indeed the purpose of the single greatest legal money launderingscheme on the planet, one which would make even El Chapo green with envy...

Sanders supporters chant 'lock her up' at Philadelphia rally: report

Bernie Sanders supporters took to the streets Sunday to protest with the same controversial lines that had been used by Republicans at their convention last week.
The Wall Street Journal reported that protesters chanted “lock her up,” with some wearing “Hillary for Prison” T-shirts, as they marched in Philadelphia the day before the Democratic National Convention.

The chant echoed throughout last week’s Republican National Convention in Cleveland, a regular response to almost any criticism of Hillary Clinton. And “Hillary for Prison” shirts could be spotted across the city, as vendors lined the streets hocking a slew of controversial shirts to convention-goers.

Clinton, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, was cleared of wrongdoing by the Justice Department in the investigation of her use of a private email server while she was secretary of State. But in clearing Clinton of criminal charges, FBI Director James Comey slammed Clinton’s “extreme carelessness” in working with sensitive information.

The chants typify the concerns about party unity leading up to the convention. These concerns have only been exacerbated by the recent release of DNC emails that show party officials discussing ways to undermine Sanders's presidential primary challenge to Clinton.

PHILADELPHIA — Supporters of Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders fought to be heard inside the Wells Fargo Center at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia on Monday.

Every mention of Clinton provoked cheers from her supporters, with rounds of boos raining down from Sanders supporters.

The jeers and chants of “Bernie” frequently outlasted and overwhelmed cheers for Clinton inside the arena.
Factions of Sanders supporters brought signs with their candidate’s name on it and pointed their thumbs down, chanting “Bernie” at every mention of Clinton.

It was a divisive start to a convention where Democrats had hoped to achieve unity.

Convention Chairwoman Marcia Fudge, who took over for Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, struggled to be heard over the competing factions of Clinton and Sanders supporters.

Fudge urged the crowd to stay in line as the cheers and jeers threatened to overcome her opening speech.

“We’re Democrats, and we need to act like it,” Fudge said.

“I will be respectful of you, and I want you to be respectful of me,” she added.

Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), a top Democrat in the House who is widely respected, struggled to speak over chants that broke out in protest of the Obama administration’s international trade deal, the Trans-Pacific Partnership.

Convention-goers chanted and held signs with a red line through “TPP” as Cummings sought to speak about the Black Lives Matter movement.

As the rowdy convention unfolded, NBC News obtained an emailed plea from Sanders asking his supporters not to boo or be disruptive.

It was clear from the start that the proceedings would be contentious as the crowd interrupted the opening invocation.

The Rev. Cynthia Hale led the opening prayer shortly after the convention was gaveled into order.

“We have a responsibility to you to be a party that celebrates diversity, values all people and treats everyone with dignity and respect,” Hale said. “We have a platform that seeks to address the ills of our nation, right the wrongs and help us be a just and equitable society … by nominating Hillary Rodham Clinton.”

Much of the crowd cheered loudly, but jeering was audible. As the cheers subsided, a large contingent chanted “Bernie,” forcing Hale to pause her invocation for about 15 seconds.

Later, former Denver Mayor Wellington Webb sought to unite the crowd, comparing the candidates to basketball stars LeBron James and Steph Curry shaking hands after the NBA Finals.

“They both deserve our cheers,” Webb repeated three times.

The crowd erupted when Webb told them to cheer equally for both candidates.
