Many in GOP say Paul’s role not useful

Ron Paul once again proved the fervor of the followers when he attracted nearly 4,000 of them to CSU Fullerton on Wednesday – on two days notice.
But overall, the Orange County voters least enthralled with Paul are fellow Republicans.
An OC Political Pulse poll surveyed 11 political and demographic groups, and Republicans were the only group in which less than half of respondents agreed that Paul’s campaign served a useful function in the presidential race.
Among Republicans, 46 percent said Paul served a useful role by broadening the debate, while 58 percent of Democrats thought so. Tea Partiers and self-identified conservative Christians also thought so, with 57 percent of each group agreeing. See the poll @
