Former FBI director Comey tweets about FISA memo release, DML responds

The release of the much-anticipated FISA abuse memo Friday morning by Republican lawmakers has sent shock waves across Washington, D.C., and former FBI Director James Comey, who is named in the memo, has shot out a statement on Twitter voicing his disgust.

The memo confirms that the salacious Trump dossier, compiled by opposition research firm Fusion GPS and funded by the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton’s own campaign, was used as the basis for multiple FISA warrants against members of the Trump campaign.
One of the FISA surveillance applications was reportedly signed by Comey himself.

“That’s it? Dishonest and misleading memo wrecked the House intel committee, destroyed trust with Intelligence Community, damaged relationship with FISA court, and inexcusably exposed classified investigation of an American citizen. For what? DOJ & FBI must keep doing their jobs,” Comey tweeted.

DML News CEO Dennis Michael Lynch responded to Comey’s tweet:

“You’re trained in uncovering the truth, therefore you also know how to bury lies. The memo proves you were inept in your job, and in bed for Hillary. There’s more to this story, it’s just a matter of time.”
