Military Color Guard Assigned to March in Gay Pride Parade

in News, Opinion / by Amanda Shea / on June 7, 2014 at 1:06 pm /

For the first time in history, a U.S. military color guard will march alongside rainbow flags in Washington’s gay pride parade today, in full uniform, flying flags that represent each branch of the military.
The Department of Defense authorized the participation of this eight-member team, which will help lead off today’s Capital Pride parade, crossing the starting line right after Dykes on Bikes make their rumbling entrance.

Parade organizers and spectators are ecstatic over the approval of military presence in the event, since past requests for representation have always been rejected. In a statement on the parade’s website, organizers express their excitement:
We are very proud that for the first time ever in our country, the Department of Defense will participate in a Pride Parade. We will have an Armed Forces Color Guard present and retire the colors at the 2014 Capital Pride Parade. This is significant step forward for the community as a whole and particularly for those LGBT members of the armed forces
Military representation is apparently becoming more of a common practice in gay rights events. Pentagon spokesman Lt. Cmdr. Nate Christensen says an Armed Forces color guard performed at the Pentagon last year for a Defense Department pride event. Another performed again this past Thursday for a pride event.

Obama’s Pentagon uses Gender Confused former Navy SEAL to Recruit

Obama’s Pentagon uses Gender Confused former Navy SEAL to Recruit

Sadly, America has sunk to lows not thought of when I was growing up. At that time we had just "legalized" the murder of the unborn and called it a choice. As I became a teenager sodomites began to whine about their victimhood because of GRIDS (Gay Related Immune Deficiency Syndrome, renamed as AIDS to protect the guilty), which led to a campaign to use the term "gay" instead of other references in hopes that it would make it more palatable to society, which it did. Lately it's been what is commonly called transgendered people that will be put out on display to be pushed to be "accepted." The latest in this round of degeneracy is former Navy SEAL Team 6 senior chief petty officer Christopher Beck, who had surgery to remove his penis and testicles, put in a gash that is a "pretend vagina," and took hormones in the vain thought of becoming a woman, and Barack Obama's Pentagon thinks he is a great poster child for military recruitment. Nothing says, "Be all you can be" like this, right?

It wasn't enough that the Obama administration has revoked "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," to not enforce the law of the land under the Defense of Marriage Act and to actually promote the wickedness and perversion of homosexuality. Now his Defense Department thinks it is wise to take a mentally ill former SEAL and use him as a recruitment tool.... and Beck is a tool.
    Bill Gertz reports:
Kristin Beck, formerly Senior Chief Petty Officer Christopher Beck, spoke recently at several high-profile events at intelligence agencies and the Pentagon to promote the integration of transgenders. "Transgender service in the armed forces, yes it will happen soon," she said on Twitter.

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel, among the most politically correct Pentagon chiefs of the past several decades, fueled the effort within the Pentagon to integrate transgenders in May when he said the policy of banning transgenders should be reviewed continually. The transgender drive is the latest element of the Obama administration's social engineering within the U.S. military.

The Pentagon currently defines transgenders as sexual deviants.

Among Ms. Beck's recent appearances were speeches at the Defense Intelligence Agency, the National Reconnaissance Office and at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, according to the DIA and her Twitter feed. She also was scheduled to speak to the Multicultural Heritage Committee at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, although one defense official said it is not clear how transgenderism fits within the multicultural spectrum.
Did you get that? The Pentagon defines Beck as a "sexual deviant," yet uses him to promote military recruitment. Unbelievable!
Furthermore, just because a man emasculates himself, grows his hair out, puts makeup on, gets breast implants or takes hormones to grow them, doesn't change the fact that his DNA determines that he will always be a male. Yes, that little Y chromosome thing does make the difference.

Beck is also the author of Warrior Princess. According to Amazon's description of the book:
…underneath his burly beard, Chris had a secret, one that had been buried deep inside his heart since he was a little boy—one as hidden as the panty hose in the back of his drawer. He was transgender, and the woman inside needed to get out.

This is the journey of a girl in a man's body and her road to self-actualization as a woman amidst the PTSD of war, family rejection and our society's strict gender rules and perceptions. It is about a fight to be free inside one's own body, a fight that requires the strength of a Warrior Princess.

Kristin's story of boy to woman explores the tangled emotions of the transgender experience and opens up a new dialogue about being male or female: Is gender merely between your legs or is it something much bigger?
Yeah, nothing screams fear to your enemies than a man in a dress, and seriously, the last line about gender between your legs, or something bigger? I'll hold back on any comment. But that is exactly the point isn't it? Gender is more than just between your legs. Though outwardly that shows us gender, it's actually bound up in our DNA.
As Dr. Eowyn points out, "That is why psychiatrist Joseph Berger, M.D., says from a medical and scientific perspective, there is no such thing as a transgendered person."
Beck claims, "The world is looking at us. You can change the wallpaper, but I'm still right here. I can still do the job I was doing in uniform."

More than performance, if the Pentagon defines transgenders as sexual deviants, why are they not upholding their own rules regarding such? This activity is banned, even though "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" was repealed. Why are they promoting a sexual deviant? I can answer that in two words: Political Correctness, and there is no doubt this will only weaken the US military, which is being purged and sodomized.

No longer are people strong enough to call things what they are, because they are afraid of being labeled "bigot," "homophobe," "xenophobe," "racist," or a myriad of names. Look, I would just as soon see Beck repent of what he has done, but people coddling the ridiculous notion that this man is a woman are only help to push him into it further. Eventually, my guess is that Beck will find that he will be unable to deal in the reality he has set himself in and as a result, he will follow a long line of people who have gone down the same path and it ended in suicide. He will encourage other confused men and women to continue in this practice to the dishonor of their bodies, minds and the US military.

With the new CDC figures out on sexual orientation in the US, I have to admit I wish the black community could be more like the LGBT community. Here's why: http://allenbwest.com/2014/07/wish-b...gbt-community/

BHO’S WAR AGAINST OUR MILITARY: Army To Force 550 Majors To Leave Service

    Posted on August 4, 2014
Maybe we could keep these 550 majors if we weren’t wasting billions on illegals and food stamp sluggards. Another nice touch is that some will get their pink slip while serving in Afghanistan. Welcome to Obamaland.
WASHINGTON — About 550 Army majors, including some serving in Afghanistan, will soon be told they have to leave the service by next spring as part of a budget-driven downsizing of the service.
Gen. John Campbell, the vice chief of the Army, acknowledged Friday that telling troops in a war zone that they’re out of a job is a difficult task. But he said some of the soldiers could join the National Guard or the Army Reserve.
The decision to cut Army majors comes on the heels of a move to slash nearly 1,200 captains from the ranks. Army leaders were criticized at the time for giving 48 of them the bad news while they were deployed to Afghanistan.
The Army declined to say how many majors will be notified while they are at the battlefront.
“The ones that are deployed are certainly the hardest,” Campbell told reporters. “What we try to do there is, working through the chain of command, minimize the impact to that unit and then maximize the time to provide to that officer to come back and do the proper transition, to take care of himself or herself, and the family.”

America's Military: How Did Your Father Dream?

    By Lee Culpepper

In a suburb of our nation’s capitol, I learned that most kids’ fathers were not Marine Corps fighter pilots, but mine was. My dad told me that when I was born, he was deployed overseas to hunt down communist aviators and to rain down terror on America’s enemies by lighting Ho Chi Minh’s soldiers on fire. My dad had this patented-daring side that often made light of dark subjects and traumatized morally superior Americans like Jane Fonda. But my dad’s equally austere side taught me to respect the danger, sacrifices, and valor of warriors who have served our country honorably. Ultimately, my dad’s courage inspired my older brother and me to become Marines, as well, yet we were never sent to the hell of war.
Today, my appreciation for what America’s warriors voluntarily sacrifice for others makes it hard for me to watch the nation’s commander-in-chief pursue a delusional fantasy of creating some Utopian society by decimating national security and replacing it with social welfare. Anyone who thinks that the size of our entitlement state is not already a counterproductive disaster is ignoring reality. Certainly, our military has areas that could be eliminated, but it remains one of the few successful and essential government institutions.
Meanwhile, only 0.5 percent of the country’s population is currently serving in our armed forces. Generally, Democrats treat other minorities as victims in need of special privileges. Of course, noble characters repudiate pity and special treatment. Our veterans would simply like to be treated with dignity. Instead, Obama’s administration is so eager to increase entitlements and to cleanse the world of our military’s intimidating power that it is shamelessly willing to notify combat leaders now serving in Afghanistan that they will be terminated from the army when they come home. What sort of commander in chief permits such despicable treatment of his most loyal warriors? Within days, even more combat leaders will receive these separation notices.
The president never served one day in the military; he appears to have little to no genuine appreciation for what these men, women, and their families endure. Likewise, 81 percent of Congress has no military experience. And not surprisingly, Democrats comprise the smaller percentage of that meager 19 percent of Congress that has served. With dilettantes like this meddling in military engagements, is there any wonder why it often takes longer than necessary for America to win a war, or why many of our troops die unnecessarily as a result of hand-wringing rules of engagement that these sanctimonious public servants impose?
Nevertheless, the world’s stability is unraveling before our eyes, and these egotistical elitists press forward, stretching the duties and sacrifices to the limit for those few Americans who will continue to serve in our military. By doing so, the left aims to reward a mass of idle and dependent supporters trained to accept abysmal lives in exchange for the left’s addictive handouts.
Basically, America has a new inverted kind of indentured servitude of hardworking, productive people. And within that group is an incredibly small percentage of selfless citizens that are willing to put their lives on the line to protect what remaining freedoms the rest of us still have, but frequently take for granted.
The president and his comrades in Congress emphatically declare that they value our troops as much as anyone else. But the president has made an art form out of saying things that are blatantly untrue and then later denying that he said them. His obedient and loyal supporters quickly fall inline and back him up. Even his media provides him cover. When was the last time you heard the body count of America’s troops who have died or been wounded in Afghanistan? At this point, how can any decent American believe him? Our enemies, as well as allies, certainly do not.
Islamic terrorists and Vladimir Putin are flaunting their resurgence of power through elevating acts of violence. Undoubtedly, our own president inspires them through his determined effort to lessen the daunting reputation America’s military has earned around the world. However, sanctions will most likely never replace the fear of death. Face it, as the president continues to demoralize our own troops by firing the best trained and most dedicated among them, normal people should naturally wonder what side the president is on.
History clearly shows that the progressives’ obsession to take from the military in order to give to entitlements comes at an incredibly dangerous price -- global instability. Yet when it comes to pay that price in blood, the nation will call on a shrinking portion of society who is willing to pay it. At some point, the left’s gamble for buying votes over protecting the nation is sure to fail. Then again, that will absolutely accomplish the president’s quest to change America -- but it definitely does not provide much hope.
Of course, as Americans become more disenchanted with the president’s performance, it might help to keep in mind that he too had a far different kind of father than most of us.

At ease: Obama eyes transgendered troops

    By Paul Bedard | August 26, 2014 | 11:31 am

Transgendered Navy SEAL Discusses Gender Issues In the Military

INSIDE EDITION spoke with Kristin Beck, formerly known as Chris Beck, who transitioned from a manly Navy SEAL to a woman.

    Video at the page link:

Having already lifted the “don’t ask, don’t tell” ban on gays in the military, the Pentagon “likely will” allow transgendered Americans to serve openly in the military where 15,500 now secretly serve, according to a new report issued by top former generals.
Three of the top brass, endorsing the deployment of transgendered troops, also said their effort has the support of Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel and President Obama.
In a statement accompanying the 29-page report issued Tuesday, they said, “Our conclusion is that allowing transgender personnel to serve openly is administratively feasible and will not be burdensome or complicated. Three months have passed since Defense Secretary Hagel announced a willingness to review the military's ban on transgender service, an effort the White House indicated it supports.”
The three are retired Maj. Gen. Gale S. Pollock, former acting surgeon general of the Army; Brig. Gen. Clara Adams-Ender, former chief of the U.S. Army Nurse Corps; and Brig. Gen. Thomas A. Kolditz, a Yale University professor and professor emeritus at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, where he led the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Leadership.
The report added, “In May 2014, Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel stated that he is open to reviewing the rules that govern service by transgender people, an estimated 15,500 of whom serve currently in the U.S. armed forces. Following his remarks, a White House spokesperson indicated that the administration supports Secretary Hagel’s openness to a regulatory review.
“While the timing of any future policy revision is unknown, the U.S. armed forces likely will, at some point, join the 18 foreign nations and NATO allies that allow transgender personnel to serve openly.”
The report said changing the policy is up to the president. Unlike the “don’t ask, don’t tell” ban repealed by Congress, the transgender ban falls “under the authority and jurisdiction of the president and secretary of defense,” said the “Report of the Planning Commission on Transgender Military Service” published by the Palm Center, an arm of San Francisco State University.
Transgendered Americans don’t see themselves as the sex they were born with and sometimes undergo hormone treatment or sex change surgery. The report suggested that the military allow those in the military who feel that way to get the medical care they need.
And once they make the change, the Pentagon should follow the British model in letting them wear the gender-appropriate uniform they feel most comfortable in.
The report said allowing transgenders to serve “reflects the core military values and principles that all military personnel should serve with honor and integrity, which means that they should not have to lie about who they are.”
