Bad News: Obama Says That You’re Wrong For Thinking That His Sucky Health Care Law Actually Sucks

You’re wrong.

That’s the message from the President of the United States to you and to the millions of other Americans who rightfully believe that ObamaCare is a crap sandwich.

During an interview with Telemundo just yesterday, el Presidente was asked if “everybody [was] wrong” after recent polls showed overwhelming disapproval of his signature health care law.

“Yes, they are,” the President replied while chuckling.

We get the chuckle. We always laugh when we see the President’s poor poll numbers, too.

The larger point, though, is the level of hubris demonstrated by President Obama in his answer.

People are already suffering under the weight of the Affordable Care Act. Even union bigwigs, who initially (and foolishly) supported the law, are complaining about its provisions. Yet, somehow, this President has the gall to say that our first-hand experiences of the ObamaCare debacle aren’t accurate?

The bottom line from the President to you is this: you’re wrong to recognize a bad law as a bad law.

You just don’t get it. Or something.

Do you think that ObamaCare might be a bad law because it was passed by lawmakers who promised us certain things that the law is clearly not delivering? You’re wrong for thinking that, according to the President of the United States.

Do you think that ObamaCare is going to greatly expand our already unaffordable welfare state at a time when the nation is already $17 trillion in debt? You’re wrong to criticize it for that, according to the President of the United States.

Do you see how ObamaCare is adversely affecting employment in our country as companies are cutting back on employee hours so that they don’t have to pay the harsh expenses associated with the law’s requirements? You’re wrong to criticize it for that, according to the President of the United States.

Do you think that the employer mandate is a clearly awful provision since President Obama himself has just pushed it back a year? You’re wrong to criticize the law for that, according to the President of the United States.

Indeed, ObamaCare is a debacle. It’s nothing more than an outright attempt to make more people dependent on government for basic necessities so that, in the long run, those people vote for the politicians (i.e., Democrats) likely to keep those government-sponsored benefits in place. It’s a regulatory and bureaucratic monstrosity that will impede economic growth, hurt the middle class, and give bureaucrats the power to make life and death decisions based on political expediency.

And you’re wrong to criticize it for that, according to the President of the United States.
