Obama Versus Clinton

By Onan Coca / 16 November 2013

I don’t think any of us ever doubted that the Clinton’s did not love the Obama team. Going back into what was a very heated primary in 2008, there were some harsh things said, and worst of all – Hillary Clinton lost. However, in the realm of visual politics, power players in the same party try to avoid the obvious look of confrontation. So President Obama made Hillary Clinton Secretary of State (because he couldn’t let her be Vice President) to try to convey the idea that the Democrats were united. Well, Hillary flew the coop after the Benghazi debacle that still threatens to destroy her career (rightfully so), and now feels comfortable to let her minions zing the President from behind the cover of “anonymous” sources.
Hillary’s politically novice husband (wink, wink), Bill Clinton, seemed to slip up recently when he openly criticized the President.
"I personally believe, even if it takes a change in the law, the president should honor the commitment that the federal government made to those people and let them keep what they got," Clinton said in an interview with OZY.
The remark came across as a stern rebuke of current White House policy — but it could also prove tricky for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who is moving toward a bid for president in 2016.

But was it a mistake? Or was it a politically calculated move intended to improve his wife’s standing while taking a swing at her nemesis President Obama.
It doesn’t matter why it happened, President Obama’s minions were quick to jump to his defense – minions like Krystal Ball and Ed Schultz.
