Mayor Claims Quartzsite, Arizona Under Martial Law After State Of Emergency Declared During Secret Meeting


Jennifer Jones is Arrested at City Council Meeting

That’s right, according to this report, police in tactical gear ordered a sitting mayor to a potentially illegal secret meeting.

Quartzsite, Arizona, the town now infamous for arresting a citizen for speaking during a public city council meeting, has apparently declared martial law.

This, according to Quartzsite Mayor Ed Foster, happened after a secret meeting was held during which the city council voted in favor of declaring a state of emergency.

The police are probably flipping out because they have likely received a lot of heat from ticked off people from across the nation that have seen the video of their unlawful arrest of Jones.

Consumers of internet news and information are quite aware of how American first and second amendment rights are under attack by authoritarians that want us gagged and disarmed.

Any video evidence that is as dramatic as the Rodney King beat down, showing an American's rights suppressed against the orders of a presiding Mayor, would certainly illicit a large volume of calls and emails.

Many of which probably tell the chief and that officer exactly what happens to anyone abridging the rights of Americans.

That is why they are in tactical gear and going into a state of martial law in my opinion.

The whole situation could be diffused if the chief of police were to resign or be fired and Ms. Jones be allowed to address a special session of the council designed to apologize for what happened to her.

Basically a breakdown of our society is in progress and this is the very thing the current administration wants.

The First Amendment now allows three minutes before the local government council by appointment only in this liberal bastion. The Founders must be spinning.

PHOENIX — An ongoing political feud in the western Arizona town of Quartzsite is heating up.

Mayor Ed Foster says the Town Council is holding secret and illegal meetings and has declared "martial law." He says a council meeting Sunday was held without public notice.

Vice Mayor Barbara Cowell tells the Arizona Republic that Foster's charges are inaccurate and that a tape of Sunday's emergency meeting will be made public on Monday. She says the city attorney had condoned the meeting.

About 3,600 people live in the town 17 miles east of the Colorado River on Interstate 10. It also draws thousands of "snowbirds' during the winter.

The council provoked anger by raising water and sewer rates for the first time in 10 years and several members have fought off recalls.

This just goes along with the other post under pictures and vidio on this site.Give a THUG a gun and a badge he becomes a bigger THUG.I have seen guys that have become cops after military service while i served in the military the guys that become cops after service only want the prestige of being back in uniform back in control with a gun who can take a life legally.The ones i knew from my experiance in army where already thugs even there.I always thought the mayor was in control of police chief and council?Why marshell law of a town of 3,6oo cant be that bad.This council and police need to be arrested and sued for all they are worth.
