On Wednesday, conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh warned listeners that problems caused by Obamacare are only going to get worse. He argued that when the other Obamacare “shoe” drops in 2014 — when the law starts impacting employer-provided health care plans — “all hell is gonna break lose.”

“[Right now], the only thing affected is individual policies. Nevertheless, even though that limited number of people is affected, that limited number of people is causing all of this havoc,” he said. “The other shoe to drop in 2014 is when this same thing starts happening to people who get their health care at work. We’re not talking about employer-provided coverage here yet. That shoe doesn’t drop until next year. Right now, it’s just the individual insurance market that’s being affected by the exchanges.”

Limbaugh explained that the vast majority of Americans get their insurance through their employer, claiming the impact of the employer mandate is going to be far greater than what the country is seeing now with individuals losing their health care plans.

“Wait until everybody who’s insured by their boss begins to lose their plan! That happens in January of next year. Then all hell is gonna break loose because then we’re talking about the vast majority of the people in this country,” Limbaugh added. “Admittedly, folks, the individual insurance market is not the major part of it.”

Official: Healthcare.gov May Not Be Fully Fixed By End Of November

WASHINGTON (UPI) — Issues afflicting the Federal health insurance website make it unlikely the site will work fully at November’s end as the White House vowed, an official said.

Healthcare.gov balks when more than 20,000 to 30,000 people try to use it at the same time, which is about half of its intended capacity, <em>The Washington Post</em> reported Tuesday.

The official said CGI Federal, the main contractor that built the site, succeeded in repairing only about 6 in 10 defects it has addressed so far.

Government workers and technical contractors working to repair the website — which launched Oct. 1 to universal criticism over a variety of issues — said the only way for a large numbers of Americans to enroll in the healthcare plans anytime soon is to use some other enrollment method.

Julie Bataille, director of communications at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, a unit of the Department of Health and Human Services, said work is going on “24/7 to make improvements so that by the end of the month the site is working smoothly for the vast majority of users. We are making progress, including fixes to reduce error rates and get the site moving faster.”

Debate over how to respond to Americans angered over losing their insurance picked up in Congress as well. The House plans to vote this week on a bill introduced by Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton (R-Mich.) that would extend this year’s insurance plans for a year.

In the Senate, Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said she was co-sponsoring a bill with Senator Mary Landrieu (D-La.) that would require insurers to offer 2013 plans on the individual market indefinitely.

The House Democratic leadership team was united in its opposition to the Upton bill, even if defections among the rank and file were likely, The Hill reported.

During a briefing Tuesday, House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) said he was “not closed” to possibly voting for Upton’s bill, depending on the language in the final draft. Later, Hoyer’s office said he would oppose the bill.

“The Upton legislation would create a new insurance market where people with pre-existing conditions would be discriminated against and women would pay more,” a House Democratic aide told The Hill. “The bill would increase premiums and undermine the health reform law. While we have not seen the final text, the leadership will oppose this legislation as it is the 46th attempt to repeal or undermine the Affordable Care Act.”

White House spokesman Jay Carney also indicated Tuesday President Obama opposed the bill, The Hill said.

Progressives have been working for 100 years to get Obamacare. Now they have it. This is the only piece of major legislation, in the history of our country, passed totally by ONE party…….the Democrats. Progressives agenda has one goal…….to control Americans and turn our country into a Communist state. Obamacare and Dodd/Frank are the two most current laws attempting to obtain their utopia agenda.
Obama spoke today of how to fix the current problem of millions of Americans losing their insurance. He choose to first take an illegal route by unilaterally telling Insurance companies to reverse what they have been preparing for the past four years! Only congress can change this law and at this late date insurance companies couldn’t give back policies to those that have lost them. Once again Obama is giving Americans false hope…………another lie! Obama basically said today that he is doubling down on ObamaCare and good luck to those Americans that have and will lose their insurance.
I firmly believe today Obama is going down, ObamaCare is going down, the Democratic Party is going down and the entire Progressive “BIG GOVERNMENT” “NANNY STATE” “COMMUNIST STATE” agenda is going down. We must continue to pressure the Government to pull ObamaCare out by its roots. If ObamaCare is still alive when business starts to throw employees off their insurance plans IT WILL BE TOO LATE.
