Russian Ambassador Gunned Down (Pull Out Of Syria)

    http://american-rattlesnake.org/2016...r-gunned-down/

As if we needed another reason to halt our country’s disastrous involvement in Syria, the Russian ambassador to Turkey was just shot and killed in that nation’s capital. Syria, like Lebanon from 1975-1990, is an irresolvable tinderbox with too many warring factions to enumerate, all of whom-even the Kurds-are committing atrocities. Instead of sending more troops to this charnel house, we should be withdrawing every soldier on the ground and cutting off all military supplies to the jihadist rebels. Instead of following this sensible policy, the lunatics serving in Congress have decided that it would be a swell idea to arm these same Sunni terrorists with weaponry capable of downing civilian aircraft...

The Russian Federation is starting to look a little like the United States in its international affairs. Soon, nobody will be liking them either.

Possibly, and I agree we have few, if any, friends in the world today.

With regard to Russia and Syria, at least it is in their own hemisphere - unlike our involvement and presence all over the world.

Yes, Russia is well advised to get involved in problems so close to its own borders and it is accused of things it has nothing to do with that maybe it ought to be involved in. The United States becomes a boogeyman, even where it is blameless and it is more likely to be blamed for things where it is blameless as we have seen over the passed eight years with the current president.
