Some lessons for Obama here!
#1 I'll elaborate a bit on myself to help explain things. I am a 21 year Air Force Veteran. I am married to a beautiful Japanese Gal and live in Tokyo (but I am still highly involved in U.S. governmental issues, etc). Every year it gets a bit touchy over here with the inlaws related to the Atomic Bomb Anniversaries of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. My inlaws are great and I love them a lot and they admit Japan was wrong for initiating the war and the attack at Pearl Harbor but they still say the atomic bombs were wrong. My Response: (but not in these exact words is) .... Japan started the War, We finished it. Don't start something that you may regret or not like the consequences. Bottom Line: I will NEVER APOLOGIZE FOR AMERICA OR OUR MILITARY, PERIOD! We have agreed not to discuss these topics anymore and just agree to disagree.
OBAMA - STOP APOLOGIZING
#2 The Prime Minister of Japan visits the Yasakuni Shrine every year. This sets off China and Korea because their are many Japanese War Criminals there. They insist Japan leadership stop making visits there. I say, WHO ARE THEY to tell Japan leaders what they can or cannot do. It's their country.
OBAMA DO WHAT'S BEST FOR THIS COUNTRY FIRST, REGARDLESS OF WHAT OTHER COUNTRIES THINK
#3 It is a sad time that many young military folks marry cheap bar girls in foreign countries and then bring them to the U.S. It's their choice who they want to marry BUT when they sponsor their wife's entire bloodline, it gets disgusting, especially when often, they receive medical care ahead of rmilitary retirees. I have NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER with active duty military and their immediate family members having priority but when inlaws supercede the retirees, that just gets my goat.
OBAMA, TAKE CARE OF OUR VETS
Thanks for letting me vent.

Our Soliders and Vets are not getting care and respect.
I am very proud of our military and our Vets! And I am horrified at the lack of care and respect that they have gotten from Obama and his administration.
I can't forget that under Obama's dictates Janet from another planet put our brave soldiers and precious Vets on a watch list for anti-Americans! Really disgusting!Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Our vets are our best! And during Nam they were shown nothing of appreciation to the anti-war movement. They are still not getting help for post-traumatic stress these days, and even ones recovering at Walter Reed get stuck in a moldy, filthy, roach-ridden annex. Also under Bush, no arrival of flag-draped coffins was allowed to be filmed, while that ceremony and the escort home brings a reality of what our young people are doing--giving their lives for their country, no questions asked.
I don't think we should ever apologize for our military--ever!Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

A big apology and correction is due.
If anyone is due an apology it is the military getting an apology from Obama.

Thank you for your service USAFVeteran! Personally, the AF is my favorite branch (no offense to the others) because I grew up right by Carswell Air Force Base and loved watching the F-16's and B-52's.
And you're right, America does not need to apologize to Japan. I agree it was a horrible thing, but the war had to end, and the bomb ended it. I just wish we could bomb regimes and governments instead of innocent people. We see so many tribes overrun and undermined
