The National Weather Service says two tornadoes have been reported in central Virginia.
Meteorologist James Foster says tornadoes were reported in
Goochland and Louisa. Foster says the Wakefield office has received
numerous reports of storm damage and funnel clouds as a strong
storm cell rolled through Virginia Wednesday evening.
The storm moved from the North Carolina-Virginia border near
Danville through central Virginia. It was headed northeast.
Tornado warnings remain in effect for much of the area through
the night.

Those storms moved through where I live earlier this afternoon and evening. We had one of our horses doped up to file his teeth when the first one came through. That was an experience.
Storms have certainly been plentiful, destructive and deadly this year. I hope the best for everyone in the central VA region.

only two?
being in Oklahoma, i can only imagine what one would say and think if their state had more than 20 reported in one day.
Thoughts and prayers need to go out to the Americans in the deep south who suffered loss or property and/or life today as those storms rolled through DixieOkie from Muskogee
