Uh, Oh - is NYC's New Mayor Guilty of 'Plowgate'? Wealthy New Yorkers Complain of Snow Job

We all pretty much suspected that once the commie Marxist Bill DeBlasio got into office as the mayor of New York City that he’d punish the wealthy, but we didn’t know he’d be so efficient about doing it!

People are already reporting that their snow plowing needs are being neglected – right as the gargantuan apocalypse known as the “Polar Vortex” bears down upon them!

Huge swaths of the city’s wealthiest neighborhood had been not been plowed by early Tuesday evening, leaving 1-percenters out in the cold, according to the city’s own map of snow-plower activity.

“He is trying to get us back. He is very divisive and political,” said writer and Life-long Upper East Sider and mom Molly Jong Fast of Mayor de Blasio.

Many are suspecting that DeBlasio is political agenda ahead of the good of the city as a whole:

“By not plowing the Upper East Side, he is saying, ‘I’m not one of them.’ But we have everyone in this area on the Upper East Side. We have rich people, middle class people, and housing projects. We have it all.”

Here are some more quotes from angry folks who feel DeBlasio is giving them a snow job:

“I can’t believe de Blasio could do this. He is putting everyone in danger,” said Barbara Tamerin, who was using ski poles to get around 81st Street and Lexington Avenue.

“What is he thinking? We’re supposed to get up to a foot of snow and nobody on the Upper East Side is supposed to blink an eye? I can barely get around and I’m on snow shoes! All of the buses are stuck and can’t go anywhere. He’s crazy. We need Mayor Bloomberg back!”

Deblasio addressed the operation of the city vehicles during and after the snowstorm:

At the same press conference de Blasio stood by his performance. “All city agencies are acting [like] usual very, very effectively and in a coordinated fashion.”

Very effectively and in a coordinated fashion. Kind of in the way Obama once bragged that the “private sector is doing just fine”? In any event, let’s see if the left-stream media go after this Deblasio story with half the zeal they’re showing for the Chris Christie “Bridgegate” scandal that they’ll beat like a drum in Hillary Clinton’s marching band.

DeBlasio Punishes 1% in NYC Snow Storm

Class warrior and New York City mayor Bill deBlasio seems to be acting on his apparent animus toward the 1% -- residents of Manhattan's (well-to-do) Upper East side confirm that section of the city remains unplowed in the ongoing northeast blizzard.

My husband, attending business meetings in the city, confirmed that buses and taxis are stuck in intersections on the UES and the streets are difficult to navigate. It is impossible to find any sort of transportation in that area. What de Blasio might consider is what that means -- not just for the prosperous residents -- but for the small businesses, cab drivers, truckers and other "workers" who serve that section of town.

Well, New York City voters elected a leftist mayor (who was, incidentally, Hillary Clinton's 200 Senate campaign manager) . . . and they're getting one. Good and hard.
