Barack-Obama-Cannot-Get-Congress-To-Pass-Amnesty-For-Illegal-Immigrants-So-Now-He-Is-Just-Going-To-Ram-It-Down-Our-Throats-Any-Way-That-He-Can Barack Obama has already said he is not going to enforce the law of the land concerning illegal immigrants, which should make him eligible for impeachment, among other charges. But even as I write this article the Obama administration is preparing to grant amnesty to illegal immigrants by the end of the month. It will just cost them $465.

ABC News reports, using the term “undocumented worker” to refer to illegal immigrants to be politically correct,

The Department of Homeland Security today announced details of the application and approval process for the DREAM Act-like program, outlining specific eligibility requirements and a $465 fee. It will begin Aug. 15.

Illegal immigrants younger than 30 who came to the United States before age 16, have lived here for at least five years continuously, attend or have graduated from high school or college, and have no criminal convictions are eligible to submit requests for so-called deferred action (legalese for an official exemption from deportation).

The administration said documentation provided by each applicant will be reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis at one of four service centers run by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service. It’s unclear how long each review will take, but some immigrants are expected to receive temporary legal status before Election Day.

While the “dreamers” will not obtain a path to citizenship or the right to vote, Obama’s policy shift – circumventing Congress with executive action – has been widely seen as a politically motivated nod to Hispanics who have long sought the change.

No! Really? a polically motivated nod by this adminstration? I”m shocked! Of course it’s politically motivated.

Janet Napolitano claimed this was a process of compassion and common sense. In a statement, Napolitano said,

“Our nation’s immigration laws must be enforced in a firm and sensible manner. But they are not designed to be blindly enforced without consideration given to the individual circumstances of each case.

Nor are they designed to remove productive young people to countries where they may not have lived or even speak the language. Discretion, which is used in so many other areas, is especially justified here.”

The problem is that they are not enforcing immigration laws and Barack Obama stood in the Rose Garden and declared that he wasn’t. Now we find the administration is going to punish one of their own for doing just what she is talking about: enforcing immigration laws.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Lamar Smith put his finger on what the real issue is when he said,

“Today’s deferred action guidance is another example of how the president’s policies put the interests of illegal immigrants ahead of the interests of U.S. citizens and legal immigrants.”

“On the same day the unemployment rate rose to 8.3 percent, the Obama administration announced a requirement for illegal immigrants to apply to be able to work in the U.S. The administration’s guidelines don’t just encourage illegal immigrants to work in the U.S., they actually require them to apply to do so.”

Exactly right Mr. Chairman. Now stop him. You guys are Congress after all and you are the ones that make law, not the President.

Not only is Obama looking to stack the deck with illegals, but he’s also making a quick buck at it. I’m wondering just where that $465 per illegal is going to end up. Isn’t anyone else curious?

ILLEGAL ALIENS CAN VOTE, MILITARY CAN'T?

Why is the Obama Campaign trying to disenfranchise military votes and at the same time, trying to make sure that illegal aliens remain on state voter rolls? Why are both political parties pandering for the Latino vote? Can illegal aliens vote now? The answer is yes, but I’ll get to that in a minute.

As Obama’s so-called Department of Justice sues numerous states to block military votes from being counted in the upcoming November election, they are also suing states to keep them from purging known illegal voters from voter registration files.

Just in case you needed iron-clad proof that Obama’s Democrat Party is as anti-American as Stalin’s Russia, this should do it for you. Directing the DOJ to use all of its power to block the vote of men and women who pay with their blood for every right to vote, while at the same time demanding that people not even in the U.S.A. legally, have their votes counted. That should cover any questions you might still have about Obama’s anti-American agenda for change.

And as usual, the good ole ACLU is engaged in protecting the illegal alien vote, but they are nowhere to be found in the fight to protect the military vote. There’s no link for the ACLU defense of the military vote, sorry.

How much more do the American people really need to see?

If you think this is a new strategy from Democrats, think again. Most people remember when Al Gore tried to keep recounting Florida hanging chads until he could defeat George W. Bush in 2000. What they might not remember, is the Gore campaign also tried to disenfranchise the overseas Military vote while counting those hanging chads. They may not remember it because the American press failed to report it and unless you read foreign news publications like the London Telegraph, you wouldn’t know.

In 2004, confirmed traitor John Kerry (D) was under attack from fellow “Swift Boat Vets” and he too, tried to make sure the military vote was squashed in his bid to unseat George W. Bush.

For decades, the Military vote has trended heavily in favor of Republicans with up to 80% of active duty soldiers supporting the Party with a history of supporting them, the Republican Party. Even after Democrat efforts to dismantle or at least weaken the Military, almost 70% have voted Republican in recent elections, Bush 64% - Kerry 15% ---- McCain 66% - Obama 25%.

That’s all you need to know when asking why Democrats want to disenfranchise the Military vote. Soldiers don’t vote for anti-American Marxists…

We also know why Democrats pander for the Latino vote, even mandating temporary Amnesty for Illegals from the Oval Office ahead of the election, when members of congress know better than to support Amnesty for Illegals ahead of the election.

But why are Republicans also pandering for the illegal alien vote? Yes, not just the Latino vote, but the illegal alien vote…

YES, Illegal aliens CAN vote in our elections, illegally, of course. But who cares about the law these days?

First, the government refuses to enforce our existing immigration laws, or even allow Border States like Arizona to enforce those laws in their own states.

Second, because our federal government has allowed millions of illegal aliens to take up residence in the United States and the 14th Amendment is interpreted as a fast-track to citizenship via so-called “anchor baby” statutes, many states are issuing driver’s licenses to illegal aliens so that they can obtain auto insurance.

With a 14th Amendment birth certificate and a photo I.D., such as a driver’s license, they can register to vote.

In addition, Democrat Motor-Voter laws make it possible for illegal voters of all types, illegal aliens, felon voters, dead voters, duplicate voters, etc., to register and vote on the same day, before anyone can even begin to verify the credentials of the newly registered.

According to Democrats, “Republicans want to disenfranchise Democrat voters.” In reality, American taxpayers want to disenfranchise people who are not legally eligible to vote in our elections to begin with.

The only voters Democrats want to disenfranchise are members of our Military, who pay for every American right to vote with their blood. You can’t make up insane stuff like this and you can’t get any more Un-American than this.

Before American taxpayers can even hope to win the November election or save their Constitutional Republic, they will have to secure the integrity of the election itself. To do that, they must address at least four high priority items in every local community and they have very little time to do it.

1. Make sure that EVERY Military vote is counted in every district
2. Make sure that NO illegal aliens are voting anywhere in the nation
3. Make sure that NO unconstitutional candidate ends up on the ballot with Romney
4. Unify and galvanize voters to remove Obama-Clinton from office at any cost

Unless patriotic Americans engage at their local level to make sure the November election is as legitimate as possible, there is no chance they can defeat the unethical and illegal acts of Democrats in 2012 or any time after.

We the People won't own anything. America is the ONLY free county left in the world and Americans are at the last intersection. We can only turn right or left - not R or D. 70-80% of Americans are awaking up. We have recently seen that Americans are becoming engaged but how far does that engagement go? Yes we will walk to the local Chick-fil-A to show our support of Freedom of Speech but what is next? Do we vote the same criminals into office because they have the most money and we are too lazy to check anyone out.



Protection of our constitution protecting our Rights granted by God are the only real jobs of an elected official regardless of whether at the federal, state or local level.

Recently I asked a prospective candidate if he knew what separation of church and state meant and where it could be found in the Constitution.
His answer was: I guess that means we have to take all mention of God and prayer out of our schools. I could find separation of church and state in the first amendment.
I asked him when was the last time he looked at the constitution. He said, "what to I need to read that for? I am not running for a federal office."
I could not believe what I heard.

Separation of Church and State IS NOT in our constitution. It is a phrase that has been made up by the communists to keep morality out of the government and schools. Communists are atheists. (not all atheists are communists but all communists are atheists.) With morality and responsibility gone our children are subject to drug, sex, bullying, emotional indoctrination, political indoctrination, religious indoctrination and will continue to go on shooting sprees to fulfill their purposefully misdirected adrenaline rush.
Our founding fathers incorporated God into all of our public documents and charged us to never lose sight that we must be guided by morality not greed.

Today we have lost sight of that charge. Our public officials believe it is OK to lie and We the People feel it is OK not to challenge those lies. We have learned to abdicate responsibility just like our children are being taught in school. We have been led down the path to forget the truth by accepting anything a politician says because, "it just politics or it's just business, it's not personal." We teach our children to lie by accepting the lies of our elected officials under the guise of "Political Correctness." By using the right terminology a studient in college will learn how to indoctrinate people through "education", how to use persuasion and propaganda in marketing class, how to manipulate data in science, calculate on machines in math, how to lie in government class and how to ignore the constitution by using case law. This is all incorporated into restrictive monitored moves and responses under the guise of saving the environment. Our illerate students learn how to use their emotions, shift responsibility, lie, cheat and steal. Some but very few succeed. We have allowed the socialist academia experts, who never set foot in the real world, destroy our children, our future. That is our biggest problem.

The fight we are experiencing now is not new. There are and will always be good vs evil, individualism vs communism. However, Americans should be taught:

the ideology of America - provide the individual America with the right tools and they will work together with other exceptional Americans to be the best they can be and create incredible advances for humanity.
Not taught to depend on the government where Individual Rights and Freedoms and private property will take a back seat for the good of the collective in slavery.



The great secret of America is its people. The question is: Are Americans awake enough to sacrifice or is it still too inconvenient?. Napoleon Hill, in is his book, Think and Grow Rich, said that in order to achieve great wealth, you must be willing to sacrifice. Americans wealth is each and every individual, will you sacrifice?



We are many; they are few. Yes, about 10,000 total people in the world are the psychopaths running this show: IMF, CFR, Fed Reserve, Bilderbergs, Club of Rome, Tri-Lateral Commission, UN. They are determined in their ideology to destroy humanity under the guise of saving humanity. They care nothing about individuals. "The death of one is a tragedy, the death of many is a statistic", Stalin. Their only thought about man is how much work man can do for them. They feel that We the People are their HUMAN Capital and only the able body should survive to serve them. If you are not able you die. People are nothing more than live robots capable of doing the bidding of the Evil Elite. Shame on us for allowing them get this far, to rule.



America is the richest land mass in the world. Yet few Americans understand that the land and resources belong to We the People, not the Evil Elite. We accept their lies as policy and ignore those telling the truth because fiction is easier to handle than truth. We have allowed ourselves to participate in these lies because it is easier than to admit we have been duped. We have allowed the so called Elite to rule and have accepted their laws because tolerance is better. Better than what? Better than accepting the challenge of paying attention and saying, NO.

We know all of the environmental issues are based on fraud and yet we watch and accept rules and regulation without challenge because it is easier. We watch them destroy the minds of our children, steal our homes, healthcare, our money, our jobs, freedom and liberty, our land, our resources and our constitution. We allow programs to be initiated with no logic or reason knowing they will fail. We let them poison our water, close our fisheries, farms, energy in the name of the environment when not one scientific study has shown any validity. Instead we eat food from uninspected farms in foreign countries, so we can give them our money in the name of spreading the wealth. We accept bills destroying the constitution, written and passed in the dead of night, read by no one. We watch as criminal legislators sign away more of our rights, sovereignty and money while we who are trained to say nothing, just accept lie after lie, fraud after fraud. In the end, we will live in ghettos called sustainable developments with implanted tracking devices watching our every movement (in the Obamacare bill). Is this the 'Freedom" you want to leave your children?



Our Founders recognized that Freedom and Liberty were not negotiable and that Land Ownership and Freedom can never be separated. Our founding fathers knew that this representative republic (not democracy) would only stand if the people were in control as free, equal willing participants verifying everything dealing only with the truth. The day Ruth Ginsberg slammed the constitution, was the day she should have been removed from the bench. The Wall Street and government criminals should be in jail for participating in the economic housing fraud, TARP, shipping our jobs and dollars overseas to people who want us dead, stealing our land and resources. The fact that they are not, indicates how deep this fraud really is.



What do we do? Every American has the power to make a difference while we still can. You saw the power of Americans as we expressed our voice of support for the owner of Chick-fil-A. By the strength of the numbers we must realize Americans, we are not alone. Exceptional Americans getting with exceptional Americans can and will make a difference. But only if we are willing to sacrifice. Are you? There are only two ways to "take America back" by force or by money. Since money will not kill anyone, let's do that first.

1. Be dedicated to Truth, Education and Conversation. If everything we know is based on lies and we know that communism preaches the ends justify the means, look for and call out the lies. End Political Correctness. Once you start talking to people you will find you have a lot more in common than you think. For a group and share knowledge. branch out and get others.

2. Wall Street is a fraud and is designed to wipe you out. It is just a matter of time before the collapse. Get your money out of big banks and out of Wall Street. Form an investment group. Buy some of the foreclosed homes and rent them to people in your community to help preserve what you have. Form an investment club, work with the small business owners in your community to be the angle they need to keep their business open.

If you believe that the government and Wall Street is corrupt, stop playing their game.

If they don't have your money, you won't lose it. Use local community banks. If Obama gets in again, he will wipe out what is left of your portfolio. Their goal is to destroy the market, render you useless, depressed and begging for the government to take control of the banks. Currency will be destroyed and you will be issued your allowance on a debit card. If you are bad your will be punished for you will obey or your card will be turned off.

3. Demand USA food and products from your local establishments. We want Americans working. If we want Americans working, we must demand American made goods and services. Support your local farmers.

4. When was the last time you went to a county meeting? Do you know what your county is spending? On What? Make them accountable, make them stop funding any and all regional programs, land programs, green programs. Make them stop taking training and grants from corrupt federal and state agencies partnered with the UN. Long term centralized planning is a communist Soviet city-state model. It does not work. It does not belong in your community. Stop using international programs like UDC codes.Learn the truth about smart meters, PPP and regional programs all designed to eliminate local government and business through phony environmental issues. Demand accountability.

5. Go to your school board meeting and demand they stop Race to the Top and any federal government programs. These programs are right out of the soviet school to work plans. Charter schools are not the answer, they are PPP and have little or no oversight. Does it matter in what building your child learns communism? These warm fuzzy programs were designed to mask their real intent: track the kids at an early age to determine their ability to work of the state.

Demand a school board that will require a factual, classical American education not international UN sponsored overly expensive socialist programs that indoctrinates your kids how to be an emotionally trigger.

6. Demand your Governor and legislators get the corrupt federal government out of your state. No more phony land purchases with borrowed funds, bad energy programs, burning food for fuel, PPP's.

7. Brush up or learn English. Help your friend or neighbor read if they are having trouble. It is not their fault they were never taught how to read or do math properly. Now is the time to help.

8. Be prepared for any emergency. It is coming. This Evil crowd wants the planet depopulated so they can control less people. Form groups in your community, grow food, be armed (take classes). The non immigration policy is flooding this country with trash, criminals and terrorists. They are here It is just a matter of time.

English is the language of business. Without learning English people sign contracts that are left to the interpretation of another, maybe without their best interest. People who can not read English will become slaves.

Evil knows without the ability to read and write English, people can easily be divided. Lies and fear can easily be initiated.

9. Send postcards, emails and make daily calls to your "public servants". Let them know we are watching.

When you find corruption, blast it around all social and local media, blogs, your community, church and group.



This EVIL group running this horror show are a bunch of psychopaths and they care less about you. Fight fire with fire but fight for your rights using the truth. They have no truth and when you site the truth they unravel. Be silent no longer.



Divided We Fail. Refuse to answer any survey or questionnaire that calls for a division. Be an American first and always. All of the other adjectives attached to America are just mechanisms to divide and conquer.



Know who you elect, vet the candidates and check their background. The local and state elections are critical. DC is filled with criminals, perverts, fraud and theft. Our salvation will be the states but only if you choose the right people. America was formed as independent states agreeing to support the rule of law governing all men, a limited government put in place to protect the borders, people and the constitution. Read this post:

At least twice in the last 30 days at local candidate forums, the question has been asked of each candidate participating to name just two of the enumerated powers from Article 1, Section 8, which they thought was the most abused, and what specifically they would do to return to Constitutional government. The deer in the headlights looks were frightening.

One, a sitting State Representative, named the "separation of church and State" as an enumerated power, one named the First Amendment, one said he was not good with numbers and was informed the numbers designated parts of our constitution to which he laughed and said he would have to get out a Ron Paul book.

Here are men and women interviewing for a job and they have no clue or CONCERN for the official description of the job they are campaigning for. In any other business they would have been politely sent home. Why waste your time interviewing someone who has such little regard for the job they are seeking?

And yet we put them back in office. Why? Are we too lazy to look at their history? background, associates? Shame on us, we deserve what we get.



In the months ahead, many groups will come forward with solutions. You are the solution. You are an American, the last free person in the world. Will you give up your freedom and liberty for $1 dollar, $50 dollars, a dinner, a grant, a regional council, a lie? Or will you sacrifice your time, step out of your comfort zone to do what it takes to protect and defend? To educate yourself in the truth?



The first test. Everything is connected. Everything happens for a reason. All American policy and government is based on lies. Voter Fraud is Real: Why the Voting Rights Act Should Be Used to Fight Election Fraud

Election fraud in America is no laughing matter. Florida election officials have discovered that the state's voter polls have 53,000 dead voters still registered to vote.¹ That's a whole city of dead voters still "eligible" to vote – more than the entire population of Pensacola, Florida!

Unfortunately, in some U.S. cities voter fraud has been so common and so pervasive for so long that it's more likely to be a punch line than a felony.In Chicago, for example, when a couple announces the birth of a new baby boy, their friends are all-too-likely to joke: "Is he registered to vote? …Twice?"Then there's that infamous old adage: "Vote early and vote often" – a funny but revealing quip widely attributed to the Chicago gangster Al Capone, a man who epitomized political corruption, and boasted an illegal empire built on graft and intimidation.And by now, of course, it is practically axiomatic that Mayor Richard Daley and Chicago's Democratic political machine stole the 1960 presidential election for JFK.It's safe to say that when it comes to elections, Chicago has a reputation, a history, or, if we're honest about it – a problem.Voter scams and scandals are notorious in Chicago and across much of Illinois, including outdated voter registrations being voted by precinct captains; fake registrations with made-up names; "ghost" voting by the dearly departed; elderly voters having their ballots cast by care-workers; and ineligible felons and illegal aliens casting illegal ballots.

And Chicago's problem isn't just distant history.The Illinois Attorney General's Office recently prosecuted and convicted two Cook County election workers for election fraud for violating voter privacy by "supervising" voters as they completed ballots. In 2002, dozens of Chicago's senior citizens applied for absentee ballots, only to discover that the man who was helping them to apply had already filled in the ballots.

As the Chicago Sun-Times reported, when the seniors asked him what he was doing, he answered: "Don't worry, you're voting Democratic."²Then there's Chicago's interstate rival, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Milwaukee Police Department was directed to investigate voter fraud that occurred during the 2004 presidential election. In 2008, the MPD task force issued a troubling and extensive report.According to the study, 16 workers from the John Kerry campaign committed felonies that went unprosecuted by Wisconsin authorities.

The task force identified a single property where 128 different people were registered to vote, and each one was signed up for the 2004 election. The report cited cases of double-voting, "ghost" voting by dead people, and uncounted absentee ballots that were discovered only after the election was over and the winner declared. The task force questioned the voter registration practices of a number of homeless shelters, and found homeless individuals registered in multiple locations. With no photo ID required to vote in Wisconsin at the time, anyone could have cast multiple ballots simply by knowing the homeless man's name. As the MPD investigation observed, "vote portability and the abject poverty that defines homelessness, make these unfortunate individuals vulnerable to become the tools of voter fraud by those who would exploit the homeless."³

And let's not forget Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where, during the 2008 presidential election, the New Black Panthers were famously permitted to stand guard in front of the city's precinct polling locations, armed with nightsticks. That was the same election year that CNN reported that 1,500 of Philadelphia's ballots were sent to the U.S. Attorney's Office to be investigated, with another 8,000 considered "suspect."

Then, in 2010, Fox News reported that Bucks County was investigating 500 allegedly fraudulent ballots involving a door-to-door canvassing scheme and forged absentee ballot signatures. And we can add to the list reports of voters receiving letters from the Pennsylvania Voters Assistance Office – an office that doesn't exist.But this is nothing new for the City of Brotherly Love. Philadelphia, like Chicago, is no newcomer to election fraud, as the Philadelphia Inquirer reminds us: "In the 1960s, a Democratic ward leader took shoe boxes full of quarters to the polls in poor neighborhoods – 'to pay off voters,' a veteran election lawyer recalls. In 1993, a judge overturned a pivotal State Senate race because of hundreds of bogus absentee ballots."⁴And because history so often seems ready to repeat itself, dozens of polling places in Philadelphia's primary elections last year mysteriously recorded more votes in some races than the number of voters who had signed in to vote.

Indeed, Philadelphia commissioners are currently investigating 83 of the city's voting districts where more votes were cast in the municipal primary than the number of people who actually voted.⁵ As the press explained, "Until they understand what happened, the commissioners say, they cannot rule out the possibility of deliberate, illegal efforts to run up votes for favored candidates, with the perpetrators losing count as they tried to cover their tracks."⁶The unfortunate reality is that in places like Chicago, Milwaukee, Philadelphia, and many other cities across the country, election fraud has been woven into the political fabric of the community, tainting elections, skewing results, disenfranchising legal voters, and compounding voter cynicism for far too long.

Voters deserve better.In 1965, Congress passed the Voting Rights Act of 1965 with overwhelming majorities in both houses in order to honor America's commitment to count every eligible vote and ensure the franchise to our citizens. As he signed the landmark legislation, President Johnson explained: "Every American citizen must have an equal right to vote. Yet the harsh fact is that in many places in this country, men and women are kept from voting simply because they are Negroes."The Voting Rights Act was needed, as Johnson admonished, because of the schemes and contrivances used to disqualify and suppress the votes and voice of black Americans.

The Negro citizen may go to register only to be told that the day is wrong, or the hour is late, or the official in charge is late, or the official in charge is absent. And if he persists and he manages to present himself to register, he may be disqualified because he did not spell out his middle name or because he abbreviated a word on his application. And if he manages to fill out an application he is given a test. The register is the sole judge of whether he passes his test. He may be asked to recite the entire constitution, or explain the most complex provisions of state laws. And even a college degree cannot be used to prove that he can read and write.

But vote suppression wears any number of disguises. Today, election fraudsters share the same goal as those who denied black Americans their political voice in the early 20th century – to substitute their own preferred candidates and policy initiatives for those of the electorate.The Voting Rights Act empowers the U.S. Department of Justice to combat disenfranchisement and vote suppression, and that authority should be used today to fight election fraud, particularly in places like Chicago and Philadelphia, where the citizens have long suffered the fraudsters' crooked schemes.On the heels of the ACORN scandal, instead of digging in deeper to ferret out more evidence of electioneering fraud, too many at the Justice Department have turned a blind eye and by doing so they are failing to carry out the mission that Congress gave the Department when it adopted the VRA.Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act authorizes the Justice Department to sue in federal court in order to challenge election practices that it has determined are racially discriminatory.

The Justice Department also routinely works with states and municipalities to help them better understand the Voting Rights Act and avoid discrimination in voting, and may even send federal observers to monitor elections to ensure their fairness.Rather than stymie the legitimate and constitutional efforts of states to stop voter fraud, the Justice Department should use that same authority today to take a lead role in combating the equally invidious practices of modern election fraud. It should work proactively with cities and states commonly known to be hotbeds of "election irregularities," and help them to root out political corruption that local election and law enforcement officials are likely to ignore.

Furthermore, Section 8 of the Voting Rights Act provides for the appointment of federal observers within political subdivisions in order to monitor elections in precincts where the Attorney General or the federal courts believe observers to be necessary for a fair election. In some instances, for example, there are concerns about racial discrimination in the voting process. In other cases, federal monitoring helps ensure compliance with bilingual election procedures; or the Department may have information indicating potential violations of other federal voting laws, and one or more DOJ attorneys may be assigned to monitor the election and maintain contact with state and local officials.

Today a vigilant Justice Department would monitor news reports and other sources to determine where and when to interject itself in order to limit the modern versions of voter fraud. Make no mistake, denying an American the right to vote by "harvesting ballots," hiring felons, using "ghosts" or any other type of voter fraud is just as unacceptable today as it was prior to passage of the Voting Rights Act.Section 2 lawsuits and Section 8 monitoring programs under the Voting Rights Act would go a long way toward fighting today's election fraud schemes; schemes that often target the same black voters once deprived under Jim Crow. They would signal a concerted federal and state effort to ensure election fairness and count every vote. Moreover, they would make it clear to would be election law scofflaws, this behavior will not be tolerated and offenders will be accountable.

It is tragic that Attorney General Holder and the Obama Administration's Justice Department apparently continue to place party politics ahead of the integrity of the country's elections by turning a blind eye to voter fraud in states such as Illinois, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania, while persistently obstructing state and local efforts to combat corruption in places such as Georgia, South Carolina, and Texas.Election fraud is another name for disenfranchisement – and it's a felony, not a punch line. Regrettably, the Justice Department seems to be in on the joke.

TAMPA, Fla. – A radical group funded by billionaire George Soros that has a history of biased research is primarily behind a national campaign to paint voter ID laws as racist.
The voter ID data collected by the group, the Brennan Center for Justice, has been called into question by experts and has been contradicted by other credible studies. Yet the center’s information is cited widely by news media and even members of the Obama administration.





Besides receiving a reported $7.4 million from Soros’ Open Society Institute since 2000, the Brennan Center was also the recipient of grants from the Joyce Foundation from 2000 to 2003. President Obama served on the Joyce board from 1994 through 2002.

The Brennan Center is located at New York University School of Law. Its primary focus is so-called voting rights and creating a “living constitution” as well as pushing for a “living wage.”
In November 2006, the Brennan Center issued “Citizens Without Proof,” an extensive report that claimed voter ID policies will disfranchise millions of minority, elderly and low-income voters because those voting blocs are less likely to possess documentation than the general population.
The report is routinely cited by news media and activists seeking to prove voter ID is racist. Just yesterday, MSNBC featured two segments citing the Brennan Center information as evidence the GOP is attempting to block minorities from voting by pushing ID laws.
Articles this week by the Huffington Post, Bloomberg News and the Baltimore Sun also cited the Brennan research.
The National Center for Public Policy Research notes that in its report on voter ID measures, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, or NAACP, “relied heavily” on Brennan Center’s work.
Also last month, Politifact used the Brennan Center’s 2006 report to support Attorney General Eric Holder’s claim that 25 percent of African-Americans lack government-issued photo ID.
GroupSnoop.org, a website run by the National Center for Public Policy Research, recently posted a new profile of the Brennan Center that documents how its voter ID information is highly questionable and may be based on biased data.
In August 2011, Hans A. von Spakovsky and Alex Ingram of the Heritage Foundation critiqued the Brennan report, finding it is “both dubious in its methodology and results and suspect in its sweeping conclusions.”
According to the Heritage Foundation report, the Brennan Center used biased questioning to obtain their desired result concerning minority voters – a result that is actually contradicted by footnotes buried in the Brennan report itself.
“By eschewing many of the traditional scientific methods of data collection and analysis, the authors of the Brennan Center study appear to have pursued results that advance a particular political agenda rather than the truth about voter identification,” write Von Spakovsky and Ingram.
Heritage points out that the Brennan Center’s report was based entirely on one survey of only 987 “voting age American citizens.” However the report contained no information on how the survey determined whether a respondent was actually an American citizen.
Heritage found the Brennan survey used the responses of the 987 individuals to estimate the number of Americans without valid documentation based on the 2000 Census calculations of citizen voting-age population. Those Census figures, noted Heritage, “contain millions of U.S. residents who are ineligible to vote, thus contributing to the study’s overestimation of voters without a government-issued identification.”
Heritage charged the survey questions used in the Brennan Center’s report “are also suspect and appear to be designed to bolster the report’s biased findings.”
Brennan, for example, did not ask respondents whether they had government-issued IDs, but instead asked whether respondents had “readily available identification.”
“By asking whether such ID could be found ‘quickly’ or shown ‘tomorrow,’ the study seems to be trying to elicit a particular response: that those surveyed do not have ID,” noted Heritage.
The Brennan study is undermined by some of its own footnotes.
One footnote states that “[t]he survey did not yield statistically significant results for differential rates of possession of citizenship documents by race, age, or other identified demographic factors.” That footnote appears to contradict the very premise of the Brennan report.
Another footnote relates that 135 respondents “indicated that they had both a U.S. birth certificate and U.S. naturalization papers. This most likely indicates confusion on the part of the respondents.” In other words, Heritage notes, nearly 14 percent of the respondents provided contradictory answers.
The Brennan study further did not ask any of its participants whether they had student or tribal ID cards even though in some states like Arizona and Georgia, such cards are acceptable for the purpose of voting.
Heritage cited numerous studies that directly contradict the Brennan report, studied not widely cited by the news media in the voter ID debate.
Such studies include:

• An American University survey in Maryland, Indiana, and Mississippi found that less than one-half of 1 percent of registered voters lacked a government-issued ID. Therefore, the study correctly concluded that “a photo ID as a requirement of voting does not appear to be a serious problem in any of the states.”

• A 2006 survey of more than 36,000 voters found that only “23 people in the entire sample—less than one-tenth of one percent of reported voters” were unable to vote because of an ID requirement.”

Brennan has a history of questionable research.
His center was at the heart of a national scandal in 2002 after the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the McCain-Feingold campaign-finance act. The attorneys defending McCain-Feingold had reportedly based key portions of their case on research provided by the Brennan Center – research, Discover the Networks notes, that may have been “deliberately faked,” according to Weekly Standard editor David Tell.
Tell quoted Brennan Center political scientist Jonathan Krasno admitting in his funding proposal to the Pew Charitable Trusts that the purpose of his group’s proposed study on campaign finance was for partisan political reasons.
Wrote Tell: “‘Issue Advocacy: Amassing the Case for Reform,’ dated February 19, 1999, explained that `[t]he purpose of our acquiring the data set is not simply to advance knowledge for its own sake, but to fuel a continuous multi-faceted campaign to propel campaign reform forward.’ Dispassionate academic inquiry was so alien to the spirit of the thing that Brennan promised to suspend its work midstream, pre-publication, if the numbers turned out wrong. `Whether we proceed to phase two will depend on the judgment of whether the data provide a sufficiently powerful boost to the reform movement.’”
Tell claimed Brennan researchers “deliberately faked” their results.
