Operatives from the Lebanese terror group Hezbollah and their supporters in the tri-border area around Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil have raised millions of dollars through drug smuggling and money laundering. Across Latin America, 65% of Jewish leaders fear their communities could suffer a devastating terrorist attack.

A survey for the Latin American Jewish Congress questioned over 300 religious leaders from 14 different Latin American countries, 82% of whom said they believe a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is the best way to prevent future terrorist attacks committed against Jews in Latin America.
