Well let's see... What's going on here?

Ron Paul is taking on the Federal Reserve,

    the Military Industrial Complex,
    the banking system in general,
    Wall Street,
    the City of London,
    Big Pharma,
    the AIPAC lobby,
and the crony political system at large.

He's not just challenging and attempting to bring to justice the Gambinos,
    but also the Bandidos,
    the Corleones,
    the Hells Angles,
    and Al Capone's ghost.

These people have no qualms whatsoever killing thousands of innocent babies in Iraq or liquidating poor innocent farming peasants in Afghanistan.

They have no problem pushing the sovereign States of America over a cliff and raping, pillaging, and looting the middle classes en route.

In fact, they have no problem killing hundreds of thousands of innocent people all around the globe.

But should and if the people were ever to decide to vote them out of power they would never, ever rig an election! No sir!

Never mind the fact there is absolutely no paper trail or audit apparatus to ensure the people are fairly franchised with representation.

Fret not about all the dubious scandals you may have heard about electronic black-box voting.

We simply need to trust those in power.

Heavens! These are honest thugs, after all. Should and when the people finally wake up and cast their votes against these crooks, they would surely gracefully accept defeat and abdicate their power and face whatever
when this system collapses and you didnt vote for this man... dont look for anyone else to step up to save you... your on your own

Paul is the ONLY ONE stepping up to cut the debt, so in essence ... you are begging for disaster and people have to be accountable for their own actions

I gotta tell ya... people are getting real tired of trying to save people that have NO idea what is going on

It's just about time to ride that Debt Monkey

General public apathy wins in a landslide in Ohio

    Ron Paul 2012
    Ohio

In Northeast Ohio and Central Ohio, the political landscape the last few months has been barren. There have been no signs for any candidate (except the die hard Ron Paul supporters) and no enthusiasm. I talk politics with people every single day, and I can assure everyone that Ohio is filled with libertarian-minded apathetic non-voters. Most people I talk to don't even know who the candidates running for president are. My Baby Boomer parents say the same thing about their peers. Some people have fleeting concerns about important issues but don't take the initiative to vote when it counts, while a lot of people I've spoken with are downright proud of not caring about politics and not voting. Most people are aren't being influenced by the news and they aren't voting with passionate misguided conviction- they just aren't voting.

It is my opinion that the biggest handicap in the liberty movement is not the mainstream media or the corrupt GOP, it is widespread political apathy. There are a lot of people who are completely ignorant of the issues but dutifully vote (for people like Santorum) but they are just a sliver of the population pool. They are not beating Ron Paul in this election. The apathetic majority is the static body not propelling Ron Paul to landslide victories.

How do you stimulate people to care who do not?

Ron Paul Remains Defiant Amid No Primary Night Wins

    Paul 2012

A defiant Ron Paul showed no sign he remained winless in Tuesday night's primary elections while instead rallying his fervent supporters to his pet causes.

The libertarian-leaning Republican presidential candidate said his campaign is sending a warning message to the country that government grows endlessly and spends too much money.

Paul said to loud cheers from supporters there is no desire to protect citizens' privacy, either in the public square or on the Internet. He reiterated his signature campaign issue of eliminating the Federal Reserve.

Disappointing BUT the real truth is

    Ron Paul 2012
    Ohio

the fact that Santorum did so well tonight means.....all four will remain in the race. Gingrich won't leave....not yet. Santorum has no reason to leave with this success. The golden boy won't leave.

Therefore, the delegates continue to be divided making it impossible for any candidate to reach 1144.

Tonight just increases the prospects of a brokered convention and that was always our best chance.

Romney did horrible tonight considering his front runner stamp and Santorum has no organization.

Remember a few weeks ago when the guy from Dr. Paul's campaign in 2008 said even if Santorum runs the board, he can't hit 1144. Stay strong!!!

We cannot get downhearted. So so so so many things can happen between now and Tampa. All tonight means is we just keep going forward, continue to organize and get to the convention.

I mailed in my papers months ago to be a delegate in Ohio. Does anyone know who the contact person is for this?

ATTENTION: Other than taking 1ST, the SCENARIO playing out is perfect!

Submitted by joeinmo on Wed, 03/07/2012 - 01:09

To all of the Ron Paul supporters around the country, other than taking each state with a 1st place, all the pieces are falling in place for a brokered convention.

It is looking as if there will not be enough first round votes to take the GOP nomination, so then all of you Ron Paul supporters that have clawed your way to those delegate spots in place of Romney, Santorum and Gingrich supporters, you will be free to vote.

This is Paul's strategy and it's falling perfectly into place.

Keep it up, keep pushing, we will do this.

Ron Paul cites conversation with Tim Tebow in discussion over homeschooling

    by Faith Mangan | March 06, 2012

Ron Paul discussed a conversation he had with Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow while discussing homeschooling at a campaign event Monday night.

At a town hall discussion at the Civic Auditorium of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Paul spoke on his pro-homeschooling views, saying arguments that homeschooled children receive inadequate education have been disproven.

He then mentioned his conversation with Tebow, in reference to an argument that homeschooled kids don't get the chance to participate in sports.

"You know I was talking to a football player the other day and I think he's rather famous now," he said. "I think it’s Tim Tebow, something like that, and of course, of course most people know he was homeschooled and he's doing pretty well for himself."

The Paul campaign told Fox News Tebow's manager, who is a Paul supporter, arranged a friendly phone call between the Republican candidate and the NFL star.

On the eve of Idaho's caucus as part of the 'Super Tuesday' contests, Paul said he enthusiastically believed his campaign 'had to do well tomorrow' in Idaho based on the event's turnout.

"We expect to do very, very well," he said. "I don't make bold predictions but there's no reason in the world we cannot win this state, so I suspect we are going to do exceptionally well and I thank you, thank so much for all your hard efforts."

How did Ron Paul lose Alaska?

    Eric Christopher Adams | Mar 07, 2012
How did Ron Paul lose Alaska?

Paul's ardent supporters here in the 49th state were on Wednesday casting a wide net, including allegations of polling impropriety, disenfranchisement and other shenanigans by Alaska Republican Party officials.

As the only Republican presidential candidate to make the lonely journey to Alaska this election cycle, and with a groundswell of support from the state's libertarian-leaning independents, many national pundits and local political watchers had expected a Ron Paul win here on Super Tuesday.

It did not come to pass. Paul ended up placing third in Alaska's presidential preference poll. Mitt Romney won Alaska by the skin of his nose, taking 32.4 percent of the vote, according to The Associated Press. Rick Santorum, in what seemed surprising, came in a strong second here, taking 29.2 percent. Paul received 3,175 votes, or 24 percent of the turnout. That should net Paul about six delegates to the GOP National Convention in August.

It all amounted to some serious, post-Super Tuesday head scratching for the Paul 2012 campaign after their man had lost three states he'd been predicted to win, including Alaska, Idaho and North Dakota. Thousands turned out to see Paul on Sunday in Alaska. Thousands turned out, too, for him in Idaho and North Dakota. Paul went so far to as to predict he'd win at least one or two of them, himself.

Idaho is a Mormon-heavy state so Mitt Romney's domination there seems more understandable. North Dakota has a national reputation for its particular brand of Western social conservatism; Rick Santorum doesn't seem a far-fetched winner there, though Paul came in a respectably close second.

But Alaska? Paul enjoys a deep volunteer base here. His supporters were organized on Tuesday night. It would seem, though, that the campaign simply wasn't able to convert that enthusiasm into victory.
Ron Paul for Alaska campaign chief Evan Cutler harbors other suspicions.

"People were turned away at the polls that were registered to vote due to confusion among the poll volunteers. Voter registration databases were outdated. Younger voters, voters of a certain demographic were turned away," Cutler said, adding that the campaign had conducted exit polling across the state and that numbers reported by the state party leaders "didn't jibe."

The allegations didn't stop there. Cutler also accused party bosses of levying "poll taxes" of at least $50 for participation in post-vote district conventions. The Paul campaign even accuses Alaska GOP Chairman Randy Ruedrich of rigging his own district via teleconference to make sure Mitt Romney -- the state establishment Republican choice -- won a majority.

An email Cutler sent Ruedrich was forwarded to Alaska Dispatch.

"There were some other complaints about the process in your own district," it said. "According to the reports I received, when the District Convention convened there were 7 delegates in your cohort and 7 in the Ron Paul one. Instead of letting people vote then, I was told you instead called supporters from your side one by one until you had enough people on the Romney side on the phone to take all the delegate slots. …"

Did it really happen? "Absolutely not," Ruedrich said in an interview Wednesday night. "It just isn't true, absolutely not true. We did not vote via teleconference even though it would have been fully appropriate."

Ruedrich says that he and another party worker left his district's polling place "to process state data from the preference poll. When we issued an all-data-in report, we returned to the convention because it was still in process. We participated in the vote in person."

Ruedrich went on to refute the poll tax allegations, the disenfranchisement, the other things Paul supporters were whispering. He said complaints were common for a constituency that failed to achieve its objective. But he also said the Paul campaign's accusations were something more than just sour grapes.
"This is a little bit more severe," he said.

While the he-said, she-said continues, one thing is certain: the Alaska Republican Party's rules are labyrinthine. Who knew that people could vote via teleconference in a district convention? Doesn't that seem like a recipe for accusations of preference or vote-weighting?

    "It's fully appropriate," Ruedrich said.

The Paul campaign doesn't think so and Cutler said he and other up-and-coming young Republicans weren't pleased with the way Ruedrich was managing the state's GOP.

"Ruedrich and others are bending their own rules for Romney. It's not fair. There's a history of game playing in Alaska's Republican Party. People shouldn't be disenfranchised. They shouldn't have to pay to play. … Ruedrich should probably go," Cutler said.

Alaska's Republican presidential poll is conducted solely by party bosses like Ruedrich and isn't overseen by the state's Division of Elections. Cutler isn't the first conservative to call for Ruedrich's head.

But much mightier politicians (including Sarah Palin) have taken him on, only to be frustrated again and again.

Reality Check: What do the 'real' Republican delegate numbers look like?

Posted: Mar 07, 2012 10:39 PM EST Updated: Mar 07, 2012 10:40 PM EST Posted by Ben Swann

(FOX19) - It's the night after Super Tuesday and there are a lot of questions about where the Republican candidates stand on delegates.

The A.P. and Fox News have their numbers.

But what are those numbers based upon? How accurate are they? Plus, what about those "unbound delegates".

    Ben has the Reality Check.
