Banking Cartel Supports Romney #1, Obama #2. Cain, Gingrich, Perry are Clowns to Keep People Distracted

The Banking Cartel will be happy with keeping their puppet Obama, or even happier replacing him with Romney. If the banking Cartel wants Romney or Obama, the media cartel will be used to promote both of these in the end, because the bankers own the media.

This was accurately reported by Cenk Uygur a couple of weeks ago, noting that the bankers have given Obama $3.9 million, and Romney $7.5 million:

"No matter where you turn, those guys [financial sector] have already bought both sides." - Cenk Uygur, reporting at Occupy Wall Street

Other candidates like Cain, Gingrich, and Perry are merely being promoted as diversions away from exposing Obama and Romney, both of whom have many real problems that they don't want the American people to know about.

BREAKING: GOP five state-rule challenges Gingrich, Paul

    Ron Paul 2012

Yet another possible method the GOP may use to thwart the nomination hopes of Dr. Ron Paul.

    USA Today

Newt Gingrich has insisted he's not dropping out of the presidential race and will fight all the way to the Republican National Convention.

But will the former House speaker be able to make the first ballot in Tampa?

There's been lots of talk in the last couple of days about a GOP rule that states a candidate has to have a plurality of delegates from at least five states to get on the ballot at the convention this August.

Gingrich has only won two states -- South Carolina and Georgia -- so far in the GOP race and lags well behind front-runner Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum in delegates.

The rule would also seem to apply to Ron Paul, who has yet to win a state or primary and has the fewest convention delegates based on a tally by the Associated Press.

Ron Paul More Electable Than Mitt Romney in Latest Poll

“Paul is the strongest candidate with independents, tying Obama with them while the rest of the GOP field trails by 6-15 points.”

LAKE JACKSON, Texas – 2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul polls better against President Barack Obama in a head-to-head matchup than establishment-choice moderate Mitt Romney, according to a recent survey conducted by Public Policy Polling.

The poll found that Obama defeats Romney by 4 percentage points (48-44) and Newt Gingrich by 8 percent (50-42). While Santorum also joins Paul being within striking distance of the President by 3 points (48-45 and 46-43 respectively), Paul brings Obama a noticeable 2 percentage points further away from the 50 percent a candidate seeks to win on election day. Considering the +/- 3.3-percentage point margin of error, Paul in this poll is statistically tied for the presidency.

Reinforcing the electability case for Paul is that he ties Obama among independent voters, while Romney loses the largest voting segment by 6 percent, Santorum by 8 percent, and Gingrich by 15 percent – a cause for concern whether Paul’s three rivals would even be competitive come November.

While many polls have shown Paul to be the most competitive Romney alternative, it also shows Paul to be making substantial progress and momentum for a general election bid. The new poll reveals that Paul is narrowing the gap between himself and Obama by 5 percentage points since last month’s PPP poll.

Other notables are that among one of the fastest growing voter segments, the Hispanic vote, Paul takes a full third of the Hispanic vote against the sitting President, with no other candidate able to come within 5 points of Paul’s Hispanic support.

Among the largest voter segment, self-identified independents, Paul is viewed favorably by 41 percent, whereas Romney and Santorum are relegated to a melancholy 29 percent and Gingrich further behind with a mere 24 percent favorability. These favorability numbers among independents translate into a clear Election Day advantage unique to Paul, where he would tie President Obama 42 to 42 for their votes.

Young voters, those 18 to 29 years in this poll, have long been considered to be in the President’s court. Yet, in a Paul-Obama matchup, these voters leave Obama and comparatively flock to Paul, backing him with a hefty 40 percent of their support. The range of youth support for Paul’s three competitors in a head-to-head with Obama ranges 22 to 29 percent, meaning about half of Paul’s margin to weak at best.

“The media may find an inevitability about Romney becoming nominee, but it is clear that with anyone other than Ron Paul as nominee a second term for Obama is the inevitability,” said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton.

“When polls say ‘Romney is actually not the most electable Republican candidate,’ voters should flock to the candidate who can defeat Obama by winning on true conservative principle. That man is Ron Paul,” added Mr. Benton.

The PPP poll is based on telephone surveys of 900 voters and has a +/- 3.3-percentage point error margin.

Only Ron Paul Questions Federal Government’s RoleAs Ron Paul pointed out in a campaign press release on the Paul Ryan budget:

“The House GOP’s budget proposal does not balance the budget until the year 2040, and it adds billions to our already exploding deficits. In fact, this budget doesn’t actually ‘cut’ any spending. It only reduces assumed increases in spending

    – essentially playing the same game the Washington establishment has played for years with our hard-earned money.”

But Dr. Paul also makes a very important point here:

“What is really disappointing is that the GOP budget assumes that the federal government should continue to do everything, or at least almost everything, it is currently do
ing. We will never have a balanced federal budget, low taxes, economic prosperity, and individual liberty unless Congress stops trying to run the world, run the economy, and run our lives.”

The idea of reexamining the very functions of our federal government, applying cost/benefit analyses (and the Constitution), and then seriously scaling back federal power–this is the one thing no Republican candidate talks about except Paul.

In October, the Los Angeles Times noticed this as well:

The basic question posed by the likes of Republicans Herman Cain, Mitt Romney and Rick Perry is: “Would this person do a better job as president than Barack Obama has?”

The basic question posed by Rep. Ron Paul’s candidacy is: “Why do we have a federal government?”

Paul isn’t saying the federal government is wasting every dollar it spends; he’s saying the federal government doesn’t need to do much of what it does. Which gets us back to the existential challenge that Paul poses to Washington. Why is the federal government performing so many functions?

Ron Paul, like Paul Ryan, is practical in understanding that entitlement systems that people have paid into their entire lives must be handled with care. But within practical concerns about how we can salvage what we can from our current unsustainable system, there must also be a serious reassessment of the role of the federal government. Unfortunately, Ron Paul remains the only presidential candidate serious about this.

There WILL be a new caucus in St. Charles County.

The St. Charles County Central Committee will have NO involvement in the planning or implementation of the new caucus.

I don't want to say any more before the official announcement is made by the MOGOP.

    The Revolution Lives

    Dear XXXXXX,

Thank you for your generous contribution toward my campaign to win the White House and Restore America Now.

With your support, I secured a strong top-tier finish in Iowa and an historic second place in New Hampshire. In Iowa, we more than doubled our vote total from 2008. We more than tripled our 2008 total in New Hampshire, and we quadrupled it in South Carolina.

These results make it clear that I am the only candidate with the resources, volunteers, and organization to compete nationwide and stand as the conservative alternative to Mitt Romney.

This is only possible thanks to you and thousands of other grassroots Patriots all across the nation.

The American people not the establishment media will decide who the Republican Party will nominate.

Your donation allows us to continue directly reaching millions of voters in the rest of the key early states with the truth about my consistent conservative record.

Your support also enables us to get the word out about my "Plan to Restore America," which cuts $1 trillion from the federal budget in the first year of my presidency, abolishes five federal agencies, and delivers a fully balanced budget by year three.

Our nation can no longer afford politicians who would rather play games with the American people than get serious about implementing the fundamental changes necessary to get our country back on track.

Thank you again for everything you do to help me win this race!

    For Liberty,

    Ron Paul
