NEWS : Ron Paul Shatters Previous Record W / 8500

Angel Clark posted this: Ron Paul shatters previous record with 8,500 voters attending his town hall - Wilmington Elections 2010 | Examiner.com

2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul attracted a peculiar 8,500-plus voters to the third of three town hall meetings he held in California this week, this time at UC-Berkeley. In drawing such a huge crowd to Berkeley, the 12-term Congressman from Texas shattered his unrivaled town hall meeting attendance record.

At similar events held yesterday and Tuesday, respectively, Dr. Paul drew remarkable crowds of 6,200-plus voters to Cal State – Chico, and 6,000-plus at UCLA.

Ron Paul’s college campus town hall meeting took place at 7:00 p.m. PST at UC-Berkeley’s Memorial Glade, where he addressed the crowd from atop the steps of Doe Library, Berkeley, CA 94720.

Reality Check: North Dakota Caucus "railroaded" to give majority of delegates to Romney?

    Video at the Link
(FOX19) - The state of North Dakota has now selected its delegates to go to the Republican National Convention in August.

Even though Rick Santorum came in first and Ron Paul second in the North Dakota caucus, Mitt Romney will win the state.

But did that win come as a result of the GOP in North Dakota "railroading" the system?

Ben has the Reality Check you won't see anywhere else.

“The Revolution is Alive and Well”
The movement Ron Paul has built is vast, growing and will continue to change American politics. While the media bombards us with Obama, Romney and Santorum, it is who Paul who has saturated the grassroots. These useless establishment candidates will one day be yesterday’s news, but Paul, his message and his movement will endure. Ron Paul spoke to thousands–5,000 in Chico, California, 6,000 in LA–this week, drawing crowds the other candidates could only dream of. There is something revolutionary going on at the grassroots level in the United States, whether the mainstream media notices it or not.

But in gauging this revolution, sometimes the best indicators are the smallest–bumper stickers, signs, flags, t-shirts–seen in public, randomly, and advertised proudly by Americans from all walks of life. Whether they advertise Ron Paul, the Constitution or other liberty-oriented messages, these small gestures, cumulatively, form the community we all belong to. And it is this community–especially the young people, the next generation–who will save this country from the frightening mess its in.

This lady gets it and is inspired by it:

"They Want to Build a Fence to Keep Us in"- Ron Paul Was Right!

Submitted by Paulreal on Fri, 04/06/2012 - 16:50 Ron Paul 2012

Remember when Ron Paul said in one of the debates that the border fence could be used to keep us in rather than keep illegals out? He was ridiculed for that statement.
If you don't remember you can refresh your memory here:

Now Barbara Boxer has introduced legislation that would take away US citizens passports and their right to travel if they don't pay their taxes:
A new bill making its way through Congress could allow the federal government to prevent Americans who owe back taxes from leaving the country.

Ron Paul Leaves Others “In the Dust” in Military Donations

Writes Hope Hodge at Human Events:

It’s no secret that those employed by the armed forces have been leaning in favor of someone considered something of a political outlier: Ron Paul.

Now, a review by Human Events of the latest campaign donation reports shows that financial support from that sector has intensified to such a degree that Paul has left the other candidates, as well as President Barack Obama, in the dust…

As of Sept. 30, 2011, Paul had received $95,567 from members of the military, edging out President Barack Obama’s $72,616, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. By Feb. 29, that lead had more than doubled to $315,109 compared to Obama’s $148,308.

The closest runner-up to Paul in the Republican race is Romney, who reported $13,300 in military-related donations as of Sept. 30, and $36,108 from those employed by the military as of Feb. 29.
In contrast, Paul received more than $220,000 from military donors from October to February…
