Romney Under Felony Investigation for Voter Fraud!

    Daily Paul Liberty Forum

    Hmmm..

Waukesha WI – Waukesha County District Attorney Brad Schimel today opened an investigation into the “Subs-for-Votes” scandal. Yesterday while wrapping up his Wisconsin tour the Romney Campaign bought $500 worth of Cousin’s subs to encourage the crowd to hit the polls and vote for Romney. Unfortunately for Romney there are a few things that you can’t do on election day in Wisconsin, and Rep. Paul Ryan who was arm-in-arm with with Romney throughout the ordeal neglected to tell the presidential candidate that the distribution of goods on election day is illegal

Tim Thomas, Hockey Star Of The Boston Bruins [Goalie], Supports Ron Paul

    Ran into this on Facebook:
Bruins goalie Tim Thomas and I. I asked him if he supported Ron Paul and he said yes. And then I asked if he would hold a Ron Paul bumper sticker with me in a picture and he said "for sure." Then he asked if he could keep the bumper sticker to put on his truck

    Facebook pic:

Ron Paul Delegates in Alaska Going the Extra Mile

Ron Paul Delegates in Alaska Going the Extra Mile

Actually, several Ron Paul Delegates will be flying over 700 miles in order to attend the Alaska Republican Party State Convention. In Alaska, to be a State Convention Delegate you must be elected at a District Convention, pay district and state convention registration fees, and then arrange your own travel to Anchorage. This means that many delegates will incur costs of $1800 just to vote for Dr. Paul at the State Convention. Truly, this is going the extra mile.

Ron Paul Delegates are traveling to the state convention from all parts of the state. We even have six Ron Paul Delegates who will be traveling all the way from Barrow, Alaska (the northernmost city in the United States) to vote for Dr. Paul. Because of the extensive costs they will incur in doing so, we are welcoming support to help our delegates be able to afford the journey. Please extend a hand of support to some of our most dedicated delegates. Any amount will be an encouragement.

The six elected Ron Paul Delegates traveling from Barrow (Alaska House District 40) are:
Connie, Jess, Tavia, Scott, Timothy, and Tyrone.

The House District Chairman who will be leading the delegation from Barrow is Tyrone Barr.

Pro-taxation Vandals Deface Ron Paul 2012 Louisiana Campaign Headquarters

Criminals destroy private property in vain effort to silence local tax-freedom activists

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana – A proposed increase on property taxes to fund a flailing public transportation system in the state capital of Baton Rouge has been met with considerable opposition from local conservatives, including many Ron Paul supporters. The so-called ‘CATS Tax’ is scheduled to be voted on Saturday, April 21st.

Local tax freedom activists placed a sign in front of the Ron Paul Louisiana Headquarters at 7047 Jefferson Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with the blessing of Pete Chamberlain, Louisiana State Director, and Charlie Davis, Louisiana State Chairman.

On the evening of April 16th, criminals vandalized the sign with spray paint, effectively censoring the anti-taxation message, and damaging the private property of both the Ron Paul campaign and the local activists.

Alex Velasquez, spokesman for the Baton Rouge-based Anti-CATS Tax initiative, made the following statement:
“Taxation is initiated by an increasingly-intrusive government intent on growing its footprint no matter the cost to taxpayers, and this outsize growth in government is sometimes supported by fringe elements. You seldom see conservatives vandalizing the private property of liberals, because taxation advocates simply don’t understand or respect private property. Unfortunately, when some wishing to voice their opinion witness resistance on the part of hardworking middle class taxpayers, who bear a heavy tax burden, some in the pro-tax camp resort to vandalism thinking it will advance their cause.”

Ron Paul 2012 Louisiana State Chairman Charlie Davis made the following statement regarding the incident:
“It would be cheaper to buy every person who rides the CATS system their own used car with enough money left over to pay for gas, even at the sky-high prices caused by President Obama’s failed policies such as ‘Cash for Clunkers’ and the drilling moratorium. This is exactly why we need a President committed to relieving the tax burden of everyday Americans. Ron Paul is the only candidate who truly understands the unintended economic consequences of liberal policies such as this taxation initiative.”

In a recent statement on Tax Freedom Day, Ron Paul stated, “As a Congressman, I have never voted to raise taxes or increase spending, which is why I have consistently been named one of the top ‘Taxpayers’ Best Friends’ in Congress by the non-partisan National Taxpayers Union. As President, I will work to reduce the burden of taxes and spending on the American people by passing my ‘Plan to Restore America.’”

A photograph of the vandalism follows.

If you owe taxes to IRS, you cannot leave the country: Fox Biz (Dr.Paul right again)

    Ron Paul 2012

Remember that line from Dr. Paul during a debate when he said that a fence can be used to keep us in, in addition to keeping illegals out.

Many people did not understand that comment then.

According to Fox Biz there is a Senate bill which allows the Govt to stop you from leaving the country if you owe taxes.

Owe the IRS? You're Not Going Anywhere | Fox Business
The provision is part of Senate Bill 1813, which was introduced by Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) in November and passed by the Senate on March 14 “to reauthorize Federal-aid highway and highway safety construction programs, and for other purposes.”

Those “other purposes” have come to include a little-known amendment recently introduced by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid that would allow the State Department to revoke, deny or limit passports for anyone the Internal Revenue Service certifies as having “a seriously delinquent tax debt in an amount in excess of $50,000."

Ron Paul: Penny Unwise, Dollar Insane

    Submitted by CSA1861 on Tue, 04/17/2012 - 23:15
    Daily Paul Liberty Forum

Statement to the Subcommittee on Domestic Monetary Policy Hearing on "The Future of Money: Coin Production," April 17, 2012.

There is an old German saying that goes, “whoever does not respect the penny is not worthy of the dollar.” It expresses the sense that those who neglect or ignore the small things cannot be trusted with larger things, and fittingly describes the problems facing both the dollar and our nation today. For nearly a century monetary policy has been delegated to the Federal Reserve System. Congress has ignored the importance of monetary policy and relegated monetary oversight to the sidelines, considering it less important than such matters as welfare spending, warfare spending, and who to tax and how much they should be taxed. While Congress has dithered, the Federal Reserve has destroyed the value of the dollar, so much so that the metal value of our already much-debased token coinage now exceeds its face value.

The cost to mint pennies and nickels is alleged to be more than double their face value, so that the Mint loses tens of millions of dollars every year by placing them into circulation. Inflation continues to erode the purchasing power of the penny and nickel, so that many consumers find it aggravating and time-consuming to fish around for small change. But changing the composition of the penny and nickel to steel fails to address the root cause behind currency debasement. It also fails to provide a viable solution both for the devalued dollar and for our circulating coinage.

If Congress were truly interested in the cost of coinage, it would begin by reining in and eventually abolishing the Federal Reserve System. The Fed alone is responsible for the devaluation of the dollar. The problem with the penny and nickel is not that the price of copper and nickel are rising, but that the purchasing power of the dollar is declining due to the Fed's currency debasement. The same pattern has been seen throughout history, as debased currency results in the value of the metal content of coins outstripping their face value. Coins disappear from circulation and only paper money circulates. Finally, the currency collapses. Coins will begin to reappear once the monetary unit is restabilized, usually with the introduction of an entirely new currency and after much economic hardship for the people.

The United States is no different in this regard, as it now takes more and more devalued dollars to purchase the raw materials and employ the capital and labor necessary to mint coins. It is only a matter of time before inflation obviates the need for pennies and nickels, and other coins will disappear from use in due time. Unless Congress puts an end to the Fed's loose monetary policy and returns to a sound and stable dollar, the issue of U.S. coin composition will be revisited every few years until inflation finally forces coins out of circulation altogether and we are left with only worthless paper.

In addition to ending the Fed, the United States should embrace currency competition. Economics demonstrates that monopolies lead to suboptimal output, decreased quality, and higher prices. The circulating currency of the United States has been monopolized by the U.S. Government since the 1860s. Issuance of paper currency has been delegated to the Federal Reserve System, while the U.S. Mint maintains a monopoly on the issuance of coins. The result of this monopolization has been calamitous. Whenever government tries to monopolize the issuance of money, and forces that money on the people through legal tender laws, the temptation to debase that money is too great to withstand.

Government mints throughout history have succumbed to the temptation to use their ability to coin money to amass huge profits to themselves. When gold and silver circulated as money, this often took the form of outright debasement of the coins' purity. Minting coins that were a little underweight or that contained less than their required content of precious metals could produce handsome profits to the king's treasury. The Founding Fathers knew their monetary history, and knew the proclivity of governments to debase coinage until it contained paltry amounts of gold or silver. Therefore the Coinage Act of 1792 made currency debasement a crime punishable by death.

Unfortunately, the proponents of easy money won out in the succeeding decades. By the 1860s, the federal government launched its first major experiment with unbacked fiat paper currency in a bid to fund the Civil War. Although these “greenbacks” were unpopular and eventually ruled unconstitutional by the Supreme Court, they marked the first step on the road towards government monopolization of currency and thence to the debasement of the dollar. Since the creation of the Federal Reserve System in 1913, the dollar's devaluation has only accelerated, with the dollar's purchasing power having declined 99% since then. Without competition, the money monopolists will continue driving the dollar to destruction.

In the 1840s, Lysander Spooner's American Letter Mail Company engaged in competition with the U.S. Post Office. Successfully undercutting the Post Office's prices, Spooner's company forced the Post Office to cut its prices significantly in order to remain competitive. This competition benefited consumers, who were able to pay lower prices for mail. Unfortunately for both Spooner and the American people, the American Letter Mail Company was driven out of business by a Congress more intent on maintaining a government monopoly over the mail than on allowing affordable and efficient service to consumers. The U.S. Mint operates in much the same way today, with a monopoly on coinage and therefore no incentive to keep costs under control. Imagine how much more efficient the Mint might be if private mints were allowed to compete with it, an idea that is not without precedent.

In 18th century Britain, as described in Prof. George Selgin's recent book “Good Money,” the Royal Mint focused more on minting gold and silver coinage and neglected the minting of token copper coinage. Private mints took up the slack, minting coins that were superior in quality to those from the government's mint, and ensuring adequate supplies of coinage for use in commerce. During the first half century of the United States' existence, changes in the statutory bimetallic ratio of silver to gold led to American silver and gold coins leaving the country. To fill the shortage created by misguided government policy, the people used foreign gold and silver coins as money based on the foreign coins’ metal content. Privately minted coins also circulated at times—up until the 1860s when Congress began to monopolize the monetary system. The American people could benefit from a similar system of competition today, if the government got out of the way.

While the state of United States coinage is in disarray, the remedy is clear. Ending the Federal Reserve's monetary policy and breaking up the government's money monopoly by allowing monetary competition and parallel currencies will restore monetary stability to this country. Focusing on symptoms rather than causes is only hacking at the branches, when we need to strike at the root.

    Drockton Report:

Ron Paul vs. Romney on National Defense

Ron Paul was a Flight Surgeon During Viet-Nam. Romney Held a Sign Telling Americans to Send their Sons to War he managed to Escape.

The Constitution refers to the President of the United States as a Commander in Chief. This means that he has full command of the military after Congress Declares War on another nation. He does not have the right to declare war unilaterally. He is the General's General. Any military action without a formal declaration of war is unconstitutional.

As the above photos demonstrate, Ron Paul served his country during the Viet-Nam conflict as a Flight Surgeon. I was in the Air Force and I worked with Flight Surgeons like Ron Paul. They have the responsibility for triage and getting the wounded from a combat situation to a stable medical environment. Ron Paul has seen firsthand the consequences of war.

Mitt Romney, on the other hand, held up signs sending other men to their deaths in Viet-nam. He used his missionary service and student deferments to avoid going to Viet-Nam himself. He has also refused to permit his sons to join the U.S. military. I served both a full-time, Mormon mission and four years in the Air Force. A Patriot can do both if he wants to.

Romney has no idea what the consequences of war can do to individuals and families on both sides of the conflict. He has no moral authority. To him, its just plastic army men in a sandbox getting blown to bits. Since I served my country, and the Mormon Church as a full-time missionary, I have the moral authority to call Romney a coward.

    Now for Foreign Policy:

If people had a chance to actually hear Ron Paul during the debates, they would have agreed that his Foreign Policy Agenda is the most sane and rational:

"Today, however, hundreds of thousands of our fighting men and women have been stretched thin all across the globe in over 135 countries – often without a clear mission, any sense of what defines victory, or the knowledge of when they’ll be permanently reunited with their families.

Acting as the world’s policeman and nation-building weakens our country, puts our troops in harm’s way, and sends precious resources to other nations in the midst of an historic economic crisis.

Taxpayers are forced to spend billions of dollars each year to protect the borders of other countries, while Washington refuses to deal with our own border security needs.

Congress has been rendered virtually irrelevant in foreign policy decisions and regularly cedes authority to an executive branch that refuses to be held accountable for its actions.

Far from defeating the enemy, our current policies provide incentive for more to take up arms against us.

That’s why, as Commander-in-Chief, Dr. Paul will lead the fight to:

    * Make securing our borders the top national security priority.

    * Avoid long and expensive land wars that bankrupt our country by using constitutional means to capture or kill terrorist leaders who helped attack the U.S. and continue to plot further attacks.

    * Guarantee our intelligence community’s efforts are directed toward legitimate threats and not spying on innocent Americans through unconstitutional power grabs like the Patriot Act.

    * End the nation-building that is draining troop morale, increasing our debt, and sacrificing lives with no end in sight.

    * Follow the Constitution by asking Congress to declare war before one is waged.

    * Only send our military into conflict with a clear mission and all the tools they need to complete the job – and then bring them home.

    * Ensure our veterans receive the care, benefits, and honors they have earned when they return.

    * Revitalize the military for the 21st century by eliminating waste in a trillion-dollar military budget.

    * Prevent the TSA from forcing Americans to either be groped or ogled just to travel on an airplane and ultimately abolish the unconstitutional agency.

    * Stop taking money from the middle class and the poor to give to rich dictators through foreign aid.

As President, Ron Paul’s national defense policy will ensure that the greatest nation in human history is strong, secure, and respected." (Ron Paul)

Mitt Romney is World War III: (Source)

    1. Romney wants to continue the Neo-con/PNAC failed American Empire and American Century Goals. "This is a time where we're going to decide whether America will remain the great hope of the 21st century, whether this will be an American century." (Ibid)

    2. Romney wants to continue the Nation Building policies bankrupting American Citizens. "His (Kim's) death represents an opportunity for America to work with our friends to turn North Korea off the treacherous course it is on and ensure security in the region." (Ibid)

    3. Romney wants War with Iran. "And with regards to Iran, which perhaps represents the greatest existential threat to Israel, we have to make it abundantly clear: It is unacceptable--and I take that word carefully--it is unacceptable for Iran to become a nuclear nation." (Ibid)

    4. Romney wants an American Global Empire: The Ottomans' growing isolation was reinforced by the conviction that their holy scriptures provided all the knowledge that was necessary. Like the Ottomans, the Spanish and Portuguese achieved wealth through plunder, and then shut their borders. (Ibid)

    5. Romney Under-estimates Chinese Communist Threat: "China's leaders see things quite differently They believe that the economic vitality produced by free enterprise, combined with the stability and vision of wise leaders, unaffected by popular whim, creates the winning strategy. Autocracies of the twentieth century were often wedded to socialism; its abject economic failure doomed these governments. But China is banking that having embraced a form of free enterprise, their autocratic future will be very different than their past failures." (Ibid)

    6. Romney wants a 2nd Cold War with Russia: "Putin is heading down the same road that we’ve seen authoritarian leaders in Russia and the former Soviet Union head down before, and it’s very troubling. You see a leader who wants to reestablis Russia as one of the great powers of the world, potentially a superpower, potentially the superpower. And he has -- the evidence of that, of course, is his elimination of the free press, his terrorizing and imprisoning political prisoners, \ and unexplained murders that are occurring. It’s another repressive regime" (Ibid)

Mitt Romney serves the same Masters as the neo-con Bushes. He wants a presidency that ignores Chinese Communist oppression and nuclear capability, while focusing on a currently dismantled Russian Empire. His aims serve the Globalist Bankers and Military Industrial Complex that profits from the blood of dead American soldiers.

Romney would continue to permit Foreign countries to determine American Policy overseas, whether or not it is in America's best interests. His policies would lead the United States into World War III.

Ron Paul, on the other hand, understands the difference between National Interest and Globalism. He is the clear choice for those that want a truly great and good America.
