    Can you believe this guy made it across border with 17 pounds of cocaine? How did he do it? I thought our border is secure!

    Police seize more than $130,000 in cocaine, arrest one

    A Brownsville man was arrested after authorities found more than $130,000 in cocaine stuffed inside an ice chest, police records show.

    Marco Vega, 30, was arrested Friday afternoon in the 3400 block of East 25th Street and later charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and one count of possession of marijuana, said police spokesman Sgt. Jimmy Manrrique.

    On Saturday morning, Vega went before a municipal judge who set his total bond at $88,000 and sent him to Carrizalez-Rucker Detention Center.

    A Brownsville Crime Stoppers tip informed police of a residence that was believed to be housing large quantities of cocaine.

    After an investigation, including the questioning of a man who was seen leaving the scene, authorities searched the residence and led police to nine bundles of cocaine found wrapped in foil paper and clear plastic and stuffed inside a blue ice chest, Manrrique said.

    The cocaine had a total weight of 17.9 pounds and a street value of approximately $131,000, he added. Vega admitted his involvement in the operation to authorities. The other man questioned by police was not charged in connection with the seizure.

    According to police reports, the house had been used to stash the cocaine as well as to run a small drug-selling operation. More than four ounces of marijuana were also found at the scene.

    Went to our city park today with the kids for a picnic.

    What appeared to be sixteen (16) illegal immigrants waiting for work were susing every bench and table--no room for citizens wanting to use the park for a picnic.

    While we sat in our car thinking of another game plan a woman stepped out of a nearby resturant, five or six of them whooped and yelled; then a pickup truck with a load of sod pulled up, pointed to a big immigrant, who then jumped in the cab.

    Next a car pulled up and another one left the park.

    So I made a phone call to the police station across the street. I filed a complaint for SUSPICIOUS BEHAVIOR, considering there was such a gathering of them--and there is EVERY DAY.

    The dispatcher informed me I was not the only one to complain--she said they were going to send over the code inspecter to see if the immigrants are violating any codes. She also said the police are trying to figure out a way to check them without violating their rights.

    We need a Fremont style law, from Brownsville to Witchita, one city at a time, we need to take back America.

    A border wall did not stop them; the border patrol and 1,000 police between here and there did not stop them; and now the cops sitting across the street are not going to do anything: A border wall will not protect us from corrupt politicians and cartel collaborators.

    It is always easy to complain anonomously on a website, but to really make a difference we need to reach out and complain to the elected officials who we feel are selling us out--and their constituents.

    We need to not only put links onto this site with informative news, but we need to put links out there to ALIPAC.

    What I write is for these audiences:

    1. The politicians of Cameron County;

    2. The constituents of Cameron County, thus accountability is held by the public SERVANTS to the people;

    3. The politicians of the rest of the USA;

    4. And their employers: WE, THE PEOPLE. . .

    By the way, we've got some elections coming up down here in the Valley . . .

    . . .it will be interesting to see who is financing Judge Carlos Cascos' campaign--he is very chummy with those politicians in Matamoros; we had another Cameron County politician who kissed a lot of political babies over in Matamoros. . .

    . . .and now former Cameron County Sheriff Cantu is in Federal Prison.

    In fact, it makes me rather uncomfortable the most powerful county politician is so friendly with the politicians of Matamoros.

    This is the heart of our illegal immigration problem:

    Our first line of defense is fielding for the other team.

    The saying in the Valley is the politicians stay one step ahead of going to jail--this is why it is so corrupt: A Culture of Criminality.

    And this is why our Nation's first line of defense cannot be left to the local politicians; they want the rest of the US to forget about the border so they can carry on with business as usual: And watch America continue to fill up with illegal immigrants and drugs.

    Smile and nod. . .

    . . .tell them what ever they want to hear.

    And then grab as much cash as you can for as long as you can. . .

    . . .thus is the life and Vichy soul of a Valley politician.

    The responsibility for drug and immigrant problem can be first and foremost attributed to our insecure border.

    Sell out collaborator local politicians who have been bought and paid for by foreign criminal terrorist gangs will NEVER change anything, thus the floodgates are open.

    They do not want walls or fences or the US Military involved--they want America to stay distracted so they can continue to cash in for every illegal head crossing the border--they will keep down playing the immigration problem as racist, when these people only truly care about the cash going into their pockets.

    If you think it is all random and not organized, then you need to become informed to what is really going on.

    What is this "Culture of Criminality?"

    It is the concept of describing the political culture which pervades the Rio Grande Valley in which a group of people front a political candidate because the candidate, once elected, will use the elected position to further the economic interests of the group which financed the candidate, irregardless of whether the actions are legal or not--AND THIS IS GENERALLY KNOW AND ACCEPTED BY THE LOCAL CULTURE AS BEING ACCEPTABLE, WITH EACH OPPOSING GROUP VYING FOR CONTROL OF THE ABILITY TO USURP THE LAWS OF THE LAND;

    Hence, friends of mayors and fathers of magistrates can have illegal gambling businesses, some, but not all, can serve alcohol without permits, and for payola, illegal drugs and immigrants are allowed to flood across the border.

    Follow the money trails.

    Who's interests are really being served by these politicians coming forth from a business community which violates the Rule of Law by hiring illegal immigrants?

    In this election year I would like to direct this question to the most powerful elected official in Cameron County: Honorable Judge Carlos Cascos, CPA, Are you willing to tell the clients of your accounting firm and your constituents they will no longer be allowed to use cheap illegal labor in Cameron County?
