A cheer for an AG who warns of consequences

An immigration enforcement activist is praising Attorney General Jeff Sessions for putting so-called "sanctuary cities" on notice.
Earlier this week, Sessions told reporters that policies of non-cooperation with federal immigration authorities are dangerous and warned it will cost communities federal funding in the future.
"Such policies cannot continue," the attorney general warned. "They make our nation less safe by putting dangerous criminals back on the street."
A "sanctuary city" ignores federal immigration laws, instructing local authorities to refuse to cooperate with federal authorities if a suspect is found to be an illegal immigrant.
If sanctuary cities are ignoring federal laws that protect American jobs and rid cities of violent illegal immigrants, then they deserve to be challenged, says William Gheen of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, or ALIPAC.
"And I applaud Jeff Sessions, and anyone in the country or the Trump administration, that would stand up to them and take action," he says.
Democratic mayors predictably vowed to fight Sessions, even claiming such lliberal policies make cities safer.
San Franciso's mayor tweeted that sanctuary cities are "safer, more productive, healthier places to live," The Los Angeles Times reported.
That famously liberal city is also where an illegal immigrant, previously deported five times, shot and killed Kate Steinle (pictured above) in 2015 as she visited a pier with her family.
"Help me, Daddy," she told her father after a single bullet pierced her heart.
Before the shooting, the illegal alien had been released from jail even though federal authorities were seeking to place him in custody because he had several felony convictions.
Gheen say he is pleased that Maryland Governor Larry Hogan has threatened to veto a sanctuary bill passed by the legislature despite the alleged rape of a 14-year-old girl by two illegal aliens at Rockville High School.

"It's despicable that the Maryland House passed the thing in the first place," he says.

As Attorney General, Jeff Sessions can do so much to help curb illegal immigration. I hope he is successful in his efforts for the American people. We have so many in government working against us.

It is good to read the supportive comments by Alipac on actions being pursued against sanctuary cities by Attorney General Sessions and by anyone else.
    Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
