Clarification for all ALIPAC Supporters calling Senator Cornyn

Friends of ALIPAC,

Sorry for two e-mails in one day but many of our new supporters are being confused by the response of Senator Cornyn's staff members who are claiming "Cornyn is not for Amnesty" and that "Somebody lied to you" and that "There is misinformation going around" etc...

Please realize that it is very common for politicians that ALIPAC confronts to LIE. Be prepared for it, expect it when dealing with Amnesty supporters, and do not let them deter or confuse you.

After all, John McCain's website claims he is against Amnesty too. Understand?

We want all of you to pick up your phones and call Cornyn's offices now to ACCUSE HIM OF SUPPORTING AMNESTY FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS.

We want you to do this to signal Cornyn that lying and playing games will not allow him to escape the Amnesty supporter title. Cornyn has a history of supporting immigration bills that sound tough on enforcement, but contain sneaky hidden amnesty components.

Please say "NO" to immigration Amnesty

Dear Senator Cornyn,

A few members of Congress would like you to co sponsor legislation aimed at "comprehensive immigration reform" which would grant an amnesty to illegal aliens. But they----just like Prsident Obama---also promised that our border would be secured before doing this.

OUR BORDERS ARE NOT SECURE! This January the Department of Homeland Security issued statements that the electronic surveillance equipment, i.e. the "virtual fence," was riddled with malfunctions, with very little equipment actually installed and years away from operability. This last week a Senate Subcommittee on Terrorism and Domestic Security declared that the border patrol was riddled with corrupt practices, such as agents taking bribes to allow smugglers through---and that major controls need to be enacted. Furthermore the Administration has seriously reduced funding for a border fence and other border security. Drug Cartel violence is exploding in Mexico and 16,000 people have been murdered in the last five years.

Do we want that to happen in the US? Yet our border security is still woefully inadequate and DHS sources say true security is still years away. Where is Obama's PROMISE TO MAKE OUR COUNTRY SECURE?

How can anyone support a path to legalization for illegal aliens when we are years away from achieving true border security? Any honest person would have to admit that our border security is still a failure.

DON'T CO-SPONSOR OR SUPPORT ANY LEGISLATION TO GRANT AMNESTY OR A PATH TO CITIZENSHIP TO ILLEGAL ALIENS. Tell Washington to keep its promises. Don't undermine the millions of Americans struggling in this bad economy with millions of illegal aliens streaming in through an unguarded border.

Haven't been able to even leave a message on any Cornyn phones. Still sending email out to other Senators---especially Midwest Democrats.
