Americans for Legal Immigration PAC is endorsing two Republican incumbents in Arkansas today due to their A ratings with the national nonprofit organization NumbersUSA.

ALIPAC is endorsing the incumbent Republican Congressman Rick Crawford (R-AR-1), who is being challenged by Democrat Scott Ellington, and incumbent Congressman Steve Womack (R-AR-3), who is unopposed this year, because NumbersUSA has awarded them grades of "A" due to their voting behavior against illegal immigration in Washington, DC. Crawford and Womack have become the 144th and 145th federal candidates endorsed by ALIPAC in 2012!

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC is the nation's most active Political Action Committee fighting against illegal immigration and any form of amnesty for illegal aliens. NumbersUSA is a non-partisan national organization that monitors immigration actions and positions of all Members of Congress and challengers but does not endorse or otherwise back candidates.

ALIPAC has a distinctive process used to endorse over 140 Federal candidates in 2012 using candidate surveys, articles and blog reports about candidates, NumbersUSA rankings, and individual campaign research. NumbersUSA research has been an important part of ALIPAC's candidate consideration since 2004.

"We want these endorsements of Congressmen Crawford and Womack to bring the attention of more DC lawmakers to the monitoring efforts of NumbersUSA," said William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. "We also want to bring the attention of more voters to the NumbersUSA research to help them make more informed decisions on election day."

NumbersUSA research and rankings can often be found on the ALIPAC Endorsements page found at http://www.alipac.us/campaign/

An A rating by NumbersUSA for an incumbent can usually insure a campaign endorsement from ALIPAC, which will then try to direct volunteers, voters, and donors to support the candidate.

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC believes the extensive polling data that shows more than two-thirds of Americans opposing the Dream Act and Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty with more than 80% opposing licenses and other taxpayer benefits for illegal aliens. The mission of ALIPAC is to elect more candidates who stand with the true public attitudes against illegal immigration and amnesty.

While there are new designer polls put out by proamnesty organizations that try to convince the public that most Americans support Amnesty, campaigns for public office usually run their own polls on their voters and know that most Americans oppose any form of amnesty and want existing border and immigration laws adequately enforced instead.
