ALIPAC Launches Throw Almost All Incumbents Out Effort!

ALIPAC Launches 80-80 Campaign to Throw Out Incumbent Politicians!

    June 26, 2008

Contact: William Gheen of ALIPAC (866) 703-0864, WilliamG@alipac.us

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) announced today the main thrust of their 2008 candidate and campaign operations will be to throw as many incumbent politicians out of office as possible.

Illegal immigration is one of the top four issues in America that's driving the historically high percentage of Americans (over 80%) that say America is heading in the wrong direction.

"Over eighty percent of Americans feel the nation is headed in the wrong direction," says William Gheen of ALIPAC. "That is because "We The People of the United States" are not the ones driving or directing policy. The Executive Branch of our Republic has been hijacked by special interests, and the lack of adequate border security or immigration enforcement exemplifies this problem."

ALIPAC will encourage Americans via websites, talk radio, ads, and direct voter contact methods to eject all incumbents on the state and federal levels, unless they receive specific notice from the candidate or ALIPAC that the candidates oppose Comprehensive Immigration Reform aka 'path to citizenship' aka AMNESTY for illegal aliens, as espoused by both Presidential candidates Obama and McCain.

Approximately 80 incumbent members of Congress who have aligned with the public on immigration enforcement issues will be endorsed and attempts will be made to protect them from the coming public backlash in November.

"Eighty percent of Americans want the border secured and our existing immigration laws enforced. They do not want the laws changed, as McCain and Obama want, to give a form of Amnesty illegal aliens. We have about 80 incumbents in Congress who have stood with the general public on these issues. The rest need to find new jobs and the public needs to throw them out of office, with a swift kick to the hind side." says William Gheen.

ALIPAC will begin launching candidate endorsements next week to support Democrat, Republican, and third party challengers against incumbents who have not represented the public well on illegal immigration issues. Each endorsed candidate will be asked to sign a pledge to restore citizen control in DC, by exercising the authority of Congress to have our existing immigration laws adequately enforced.

On behalf of 80% of the public, 80 incumbents will be supported, and the rest of the sellouts in Washington can face the wrath of an angry electorate enraged about the economy, inflation, and illegal immigration.

It is time to "Throw the bums out!"

    Throw Out Incumbent Politicians!

If we are going to do this, then the first one we need to start with is Texas Congressman Solomon Ortiz. He has the worst report card of any. He has never voted for one single piece of Immigration reform. And now we have to contend with his son who is a Texas representative.

Here's another champion for us. Lou Barletta. This is an article I got in an email from his campaign about a challenge to Kanjorski for debates:

    Barletta Turns Up The Heat

    Steve Corbett Reporting
    corbett@wilknewsradio.com

    Wednesday, June 25, 2008

The Great Debate debate has begun.

On the Morning News with Nancy and Kevin today, Hazleton Mayor Lou Barletta called to offer his best challenge yet to Democratic 11th congressional district incumbent U.S. Rep. Paul Kanjorski.

Republican Barletta wants to unseat the veteran congressman in the November election.

And our challenger played a master stroke when he called for debate.

    It’s only June.

And Barletta knows it can be a long, dull summer, particularly when a comfortable lawmaker with more than two decades in Congress under his belt wants to stay away from the heat.

So Barletta turned on all burners and lit a fire right under Kanjorski’s pork butt.

    When it’s hot, it’s hot.

Barletta announced that he wants six single issue debates even before the mass public debates he wants in the fall. Better yet, he wants the Super Six to be held on WILK News Radio from morning until night.

The first single issue debate would be held on the Morning News with another debate to follow. Late morning news talk show host Sue Henry would host two more debates. I get two, too.

Barletta’s grand provocation to Kanjorski is perfect.

Kanjorski’s not used to being put in a corner. Lately, though, he’s looking worse than ever.

Two very unflattering videos are now showing on YouTube, the internet theater of despair for many formerly protected politicians. And FOX news recently aired and aired and aired again an expose into Kanjorski’s influence peddling that benefitted members of his family.

More puzzling, though, is Kanjorski’s refusal to respond to my inquiries about those issues. He won’t even say publicly if he’s supporting Barack Obama, the presumptive Democratic nominee for president.

Kanjorski’s press secretary has stopped answering my emails.

Obviously I’m rooting for the debates.

Barletta is the underdog who lost to Kanjorski once before. But he only lost by 22,000 votes and that was before he earned the reputation in conservative circles of being a small town mayor fighting what he considers an “invasionâ€

I offer up Dick Durbin. Please help us defeat him! The person running against him is pro-enforcement and for NO amnesty.

    Steve Sauerberg, MD,
    Republican Candidate for US Senate

"We must ensure our nation's security while also respecting the human dignity of all the people in our country." -Steve Sauerberg

    Protect Our Borders
Illegal immigration is one of the biggest challenges we face as a nation. According to most estimates, between 12 and 16 million illegal immigrants are currently in our country and over 700,000 enter America illegally every year.

    1. Secure our borders. We must triple funding for the U.S. border patrol to stop the flow of those entering our country illegally.
    2. No amnesty. I oppose any effort to reward illegal behavior with amnesty or American citizenship without punitive measures. Dick Durbin's amnesty-first approach would cost taxpayers over $2.6 trillion.
    3. Deport illegal aliens who commit felonies when they finish serving their prison sentence.
    4. All legal immigrants must learn to read and write English. We are a melting pot of many cultures bound together by a common language, and success in our schools and our economy depends on being able to communicate by using the same language. Those who immigrate to the United States should understand the importance of our history and civics and respect the values of our democratic society.
    5. Share our vision. Impart the knowledge that America is a land of opportunity and optimism for those pursuing a better life through hard work and hope.

These are all the positions that Dick Durbin has voted in favor of:

    * No Border Fence - No Border Security.
    * Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants
    * Taxpayer-Funded Tuition for Illegal Immigrants
    * Social Security Benefits for Illegal Immigrants
    * ** Dick Durbin was even the prime sponsor of legislation that would reward a convicted criminal and illegal immigrant with amnesty!!

Elections for the United States Senate will be held on November 4, 2008, with 35 of the 100 seats in the Senate being contested. Thirty-three seats are regular elections; the winners will be eligible to serve six-year terms from January 3, 2009 until January 3, 2015 as members of Senate Class II. There are also two special elections: one in Wyoming and another in Mississippi; the winners will serve the remainder of terms that expire on January 3, 2013, as members of Senate Class I.

The above is from wikipedia. We have a chance to make some real changes!

The site lists those up for reelection.

I'm excited about this new project.
