Well, I contacted Senator Kent Conrad's office. They didn't want to state his position, so I said that if he won't say whether he supports it, we'll assume that he does. I promised I would follow up with a letter.

Just called Maria Cantwells office and told the staffer that they represent ALL American Citizens no matter what state they are from. He asked where I was calling from. I also informed him that I know ILLEGAL ALIENS call our Senators and demand rights and citizenship,which is totally WRONG

That's a good thing to remember when calling. If illegal aliens are here demanding rights, why is it material that I'm a U.S. citizen from out of state?

You'd think it wouldn't matter, but it does and any trick they didn't think of doing may help us in the end!

Unfortunate update on Amy Klobuchar (D - Mn) - She's a co-sponsor of the bill.

You'd think it wouldn't matter, but it does and any trick they didn't think of doing may help us in the end!

This brings another question to mind. To email they require complete addresses, and not just zip codes. So far I've been putting my real information down, because it seems to be the right thing to do. Any thoughts?

Senators represent the entire state so any zip in the state will do.

what the heck, dont tell me this guy from west virginia is going to vote with that ( insert adjective here). I told people from west virginia that he was not a conservative like they claimed.
