Americans Ask Jim Deakin Not To Reelect John McCain

    For immediate national release

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC is publicly asking US Senate Candidate Jim Deakin to consider withdrawing from the Arizona Republican primary to avoid playing the role of a political spoiler who aids the incumbency of US Senator John McCain who will likely lose his seat to challenger J.D. Hayworth.

American citizens who would like to join this call for Deakin to honorably step aside are encouraged to post their requests to Mr. Deakin beneath the copy of this national press release on ALIPAC's website, at the link provided below.

"Unfortunately, Mr. Deakin's continued candidacy has a strong chance of handing the election to John McCain, yet he has almost no significant chance of winning the race according to numerous polls and historical election models.", said William Gheen of ALIPAC. "Mr. Deakin is either a true American patriot who wants to see real change in Washington who will help us defeat McCain, or he is someone playing the role of spoiler for DC influences that want John McCain to return to Washington."

Republicans, Democrats, and even the Obama administration want to protect and reelect John McCain because a defeat for McCain would virtually destroy plans for Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty, which would turn millions of illegal aliens into voters thus destroying all future immigration enforcement efforts and borders for the United States.

John McCain is trying to flip flop on his support for Amnesty for the second time. He is campaigning as if he is against Amnesty just like he did in the presidential primary. Once McCain won his last primary, he quickly went on Spanish news networks to proclaim his support for Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty once again.

"We want everyone to respect and honor Mr. Deakin's positions, time, and sacrifices as a candidate," said William Gheen. "But we also want everyone to speak out asking him not to risk being the man who strips a few percentage points away from J.D. Hayworth and throws the election to John McCain. If Deakin plays the role of spoiler and McCain wins due to his continued presence on the ballot, Deakin will become a total anathema to the movement he says he wants to represent."

William Gheen has been involved with many campaigns where a spoiler candidate was used by incumbents to stay in office against strong challenges. It is hoped that ALIPAC's sincere request will be fully considered by Mr. Deakin and that the Hayworth's campaign will reach out to the Deakin campaign in partnership.

"We want to see Jim Deakin and J.D. Hayworth working together to bring John McCain home from DC," said William Gheen.

William Gheen's personal request to Mr. Deakin and requests from members of the public, immigration enforcement movement, and Tea Party movement, are being posted at the link below and all comments will be forwarded to the Deakin and Hayworth campaigns.

William Gheen's Open Letter to Senate Candidate Jim Deakin

    July 15, 2010

    Mr. Deakin,

I'm writing this open letter to you today to ask that you please give the strongest consideration to withdrawing your candidacy for US Senate in the Arizona Republican primary, and throwing your support behind the Hayworth campaign to avoid the possibility your continued presence on the ballot will throw the race to illegal alien Amnesty supporter John McCain.

As you know, there is a fierce power struggle going on in America. John McCain is a top resource for the corrupt Republican and Democrat cabal in Washington, DC who is hell bent on destroying America with open borders, amnesty for illegals, and the disruption in Constitutional governance we are all currently witnessing.

Our strongest chance to remove McCain from office is J.D. Hayworth and while the polling data shows McCain is under 50 percent support and Hayworth within striking distance of an upset, the polling data shows you with 3-6 percent support, which means your chances of winning are less than 1 percent, while your chances of being a spoiler candidate and re-electing John McCain are much higher.

Mr. Deakin, you are either a patriotic American who has ended up in this situation accidentally, or you are either a willing or unwitting spoiler for those corporate lobbyist Republicans in DC, who want McCain back so he can do another flip flop and jump in the saddle with President Obama, Senators Reid and Graham on Amnesty. I would hope and pray that you would not run that risk with the fate of our nation Mr. Deakin, not accidentally nor intentionally for the puppet masters in Washington.

Even some of the top parts of the Tea Party movement are in the pockets of the open borders pro Amnesty crowd and it is my concern that those elements are using you to help McCain return to Washington with his treachery against the American people. Do you stand with those DC insiders as part of their open border plan Mr. Deakin or will you stand with We The People and cease your assistance to McCain by leaving this race?

Today, I am putting out a national press release to request that Americans consider posting their own requests for you to unify with J.D. Hayworth against John McCain immediately.

If you do that, you will hear a loud cheer go up across the nation, as grateful patriots acknowledge your sacrifice for America. I must also point out that if John McCain wins this primary, then it will be a huge disappointment and source of extreme anguish to so many Americans, who are rising up and speaking out more than ever before. If Hayworth should lose by a few percentage points, then all eyes will fall on you Mr. Deakin as the man who re-elected John McCain. Please don't let that happen to all of the fine Americans who want McCain brought home from DC. Please don't run the risk of that happening to America Mr. Deakin. You have the power to diffuse that risk.

I have had a lot of unfortunate experiences with spoiler candidates in my life Mr. Deakin. As a young buck at the age of 27, I decided to challenge a radically liberal city council member of a major metro city in NC. I intended to be the youngest member ever to serve on the city council of Greenville, NC. A third candidate, who was also younger, entered the race and on election night I lost by 38 votes, while the young man who was paid $500 to put his name on the ballot and stand outside of one poll on election day saying, "vote for me I'm the young guy" only gained 49 votes total! The incumbent knew she faced a very serious challenge from me because of all the young voters in her district, so she and her husband hired a spoiler. On election night, the spoiler was at the incumbents house celebrating my narrow defeat with his employers.

Later, I would work for conservative Democrats in my state, who were able to stay in power in minority state house and senate districts that were drawn to elect a minority. My employers would bribe other black candidates to enter the race as a spoiler. I learned that spoilers are a long standing political ploy used by corrupt incumbents to protect their power. I have witnessed the effectiveness of spoilers in many races.

Sometimes the person in the spoiler role is not being paid or manipulated into running, but there are people around them influencing them for those purposes. I hope this is the case with you Mr. Deakin. If you are not working intentionally to help McCain, then I feel that you will leave the race and help Hayworth. I can see no other logical or rational reason for you to stay in the race other than to help McCain and thwart those who want him defeated.

We've recently received information at ALIPAC which indicates that John McCain's campaign is actually trying to strengthen your appeal to voters to help him return to Washington. Therefore, we do know that McCain and his supporters are working behind the scenes to use you as a spoiler, whether or not you approve of these actions.

Of course, every hired spoiler will continually deny that they are playing that role. The true test here Mr. Deakin will be if you stay on the ballot with no chance of winning, or if you do what is best for America and those that oppose McCain by coming out of the race. There's only one way you can ever remove any doubts about this situation.

To my knowledge as a political scientist and a campaign consultant with over 44 campaigns for public office on my consulting resume, no candidate polling as low as you are this close to election day has ever won their race. Feel free to prove me wrong, if you can find anyone who came from behind with less than 6 percent to win a few weeks later.

Most of your platform is very similar to the platform of J.D. Hayworth, so if you want to see your issues addressed in Washington, it would make sense that you would withdraw from the ballot and begin negotiation with the Hayworth campaign on behalf of your staunch supporters. Obviously, you claim you want McCain to be defeated by your presence as challenger against him.

Speaking of your supporters Mr. Deakin, I must inform you that a candidate in your position traditionally receives a much lower percentage of actual votes compared to your polling numbers because many voters who like your stances will cast their ballot for the challenger with the best chance of defeating the incumbent. I've seen it happen many times. If you are polling at 4 percent you can expect your actual vote totals to be lower.

Those who are working closely with you as donors and volunteers would certainly enjoy a historic win on election night, instead of a possible double defeat. Just picture your key supporters in a room cheering because Hayworth and Deakin defeated McCain, versus the double election loss of your campaign and the campaign of Hayworth. Good patriotic Americans would cry out in agony across the nation, and it would be your campaign that cost Hayworth the race!

If you remain in this race Mr. Deakin, you could easily cause two losses, instead of one and have a terrible impact on the national movement for revolutionary change in Washington in 2010.

We are very serious about revolutionary political change in America this year. In fact this may be our last chance to get it right.

As I look across the national campaign battle maps in the movement to secure America's borders, the McCain, Hayworth, Deakin race is the most important race on our maps. McCain must fall. Hayworth must win.

A McCain defeat would highly energize our national revolution by increasing the number of new faces in DC after this November. A McCain victory would throw quite a bit of water on our fire and force many Americans back into the disgusting state of affairs when McCain blew his presidential campaign by promising illegal aliens Amnesty, and Obama doing the same.

John McCain needs to follow pro-illegal alien amnesty Senators Arlen Specter and Bob Bennett to the scrap heap of political history.

You can count on our entire national organization to do what it takes to defeat McCain this year. We also stand ready to help you run for a future position in 2012 and to help represent your issue interests with other campaigns. If you are willing to do what is best for America and all those patriots out there who want McCain out of Washington, then we are willing to do all that we can to help you Mr. Deakin.

In closing, I want to thank you for reading my letter and the comments of all those across America who want you to hear their voices on this important issue. I know how tough it can be to consider changing course for a man or woman who has shown the bravery and dedication of becoming a candidate and building a full- fledged campaign. What we are asking you to do will take a great deal of strength and honor, and it will show that you are not a servant of the traitors, but a man dedicated to the American public, secure borders, and no amnesty.

In fact, if you do what we appeal to you to do, your name may go down in history as the man who stopped Amnesty and stopped the destruction of this nation . Your support for J.D. Hayworth could easily put him over the top by giving him the few percentage points that he needs to finish ahead of McCain.

My door is open to you and your core supporters anytime, please contact me, if any of you would like to discuss this further.

Many times in life, it takes more strength to let go of something than it does to hold on.

    Mr. Deakin,

I take no pleasure in asking you to withdraw from the Arizona Senate race but do so in the interest of defeating John McCain...

General observation is that your candidacy will split the vote to the extent that McCain will emerge the winner for sure.....please consider, in the interest of defeating a RINO, withdrawing from the Senate race and throwing your support to J.D. Hayworth.....

    Respectfully,

    JIm Deakin

    Dear Mr. Deakin,

Please do the people of ARizona and the USA a favor, step aside in this race or you may be responsible for giving us yet another 6 years of the despicable John McCain.

You posted some untruths about J. D. Hayworth and it begs the question...are you doing McCain's bidding?

Your post following was very dishonest, mostly this:

“I did not look to see if JD actually voted for any of these Laws. However, he did not stop them either.â€

    Mr. Deakin,
Your candidacy smacks of a back room deal to assist McCain in his re-election bid.

I respectfully request that you please consider withdrawing from the Senate race to avoid splitting the vote and assuring John McCain the win which would allow him to again support amnesty.

    Best regards,

Dear Mr. Deakin: I appreciate your desire to move America forward and away from the socialist tyranny of the left. It does appear that this time the momentum is with JD Hayworth to defeat the neocon RINO McCain. I write to urge you to do a strategic retreat to live and fight another day. We must send McAmnesty home and not split the true conservative vote. Please consider coming to the aid of your fellow patriot Mr. Hayworth. I know we will do the same for you next time.
    Best regards,
    Phil

Please protect us from John McCain by withdrawing your candidacy. I have visited your web site and I agree with all of your objectives. However, we need a united front to defeat Senator Flip-Flop!

RE: Plese withdraw your candiacy for US Senate Mr Deakins!

Dear Mr Deakins as a Registered Independent Arizona Voter living in the
Mayor Phil Gordon and Barack Hussein Obama Sanctuary City of Phoenix,
frankly we cannot afford to re-elect flip flop RINO Amnesty John McCain,
and end up with Amnesty John McCain casting the deciding vote to pass
our Marxist Dictator Democrat from Kenya Barack Hussein Obama Illegal
Alien Amnesty Plan for the 40 Million Illegal Aliens already in the USA.

Please withdraw your US Senate Candidacy Immediately so that this
RINO Two Face Sell Out Amnesty John McCain is kicked out of the US
Senate by fed up Arizona Voters like myself. Thank You.
    Sincerely

    % needed to win

    Mr. Deakin,

You are a fine candidate and competition in this race is tough. Tough enough that 3 candidates is too many. I

John McCain needs to go and make room for real patriots.

America will be better if J.D. Hayworth wins.

If Mr Deakin, would run for another position other than Senator I will support and help your campaign.

We need every vote to get J.D. Hayworth elected and get John McCain out. This cannot be done with 3 people running for Senate.

Could you help and have this a 2 candidate race. Hayworth and McCain.

    Karen
