Americans To Speak Out Against Illegal Immigration in NC Today

    March 23, 2011

CONTACT: Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC)
    (866) 703-0864 Press@alipac.us

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC's President, William Gheen, will join leaders of allied organizations and NC Citizens who wish to speak out against illegal immigration in the NC Legislature today by speaking in support of House Bills 33 and 351 in committee meetings.

House Bill 33 "Law to Provide Acceptable ID" sponsored by Representatives Hager and Cleveland would establish that NC law enforcement, courts, state, and local government only accept ID available to American citizens and legal immigrants. It would effectively prevent illegal aliens from using worthless Matricula Consular IDs issued by the Mexican government.

"We have a big problem with the government of Mexico aiding and abetting illegal aliens by selling them Matricula IDs," said William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. "HB 33 would help dissuade illegal immigrants from coming to North Carolina while improving security for American workers, students, taxpayers, and voters who are negatively impacted by illegal immigration."

Deliberations on HB 33 were delayed until today as Representative Paul Luebke (D-Durham) called in the Mexican Consulate to speak against HB 33. Gheen and other American activists such as Ron Woodard of NC Listen and James Johnson of NCFIRE will seek to counter the Mexican government at today's Judiciary A meeting in room 1228 at 10am in the Legislative building.

William Gheen will also attempt to speak out in favor of the "Voter ID Bill" (HB 351) in today's Elections Committee meeting at 1pm in room 642 in the Legislative Office Building.

This bill would require valid ID for people to vote in North Carolina elections and would help prevent non US Citizens from voting in NC elections.

"We have a problem all across America with non-citizens and illegal immigrants both registering to vote and participating in elections," said William Gheen. "This is a felony and this steals votes from innocent American voters. We believe that the voter ID bill would help reduce elections fraud conducted by illegal immigrants in North Carolina."

"Please don't forget my 2 favorites in our fight to take back our country!"
The cost of illegal immigration to the state of North Carolina is $2.1 billion dollars a year and that's not counting the lost tax revenues from out of work North Carolinians and they're families!

The unemployment rate in North Carolina is 10.3% above the national average and has been as high as 12% for nearly a year!

That whole area out there is nothing but a lot of liberals anyway.

In the paper "The Daily Tar Heel" they have an article on "Protect Immigrant Students" stating that their educational opportunities must be expanded. The paper is from Chapel Hill
