Thread: Group of illegal immigration control bills advance in NC!

Friends of ALIPAC,

Many thanks to all of you who are taking the time to call in support of our bills in many states.

We have good news to report from Louisiana, where thanks to your hard work SB 66 (E-Verify) has passed its second reading in the House and is now on the calendar for June 13!

Your efforts paid off last night in North Carolina, where our three main bills were passed in one chamber thus surviving the crossover deadline. Each of these bills must still be passed in the other chamber and signed by the governor before they become law.

We are so pleased with our progress at this time, and if we succeed we may announce a North Carolina Compact to use our legislation as a model for the rest of the nation.

House Bill 36 passed the NC House late last night by a vote of 66-41. It now must pass in the senate. This bill would stop illegal aliens from being hired by all companies in NC that do business with the state and or have more than 24 employees.

House Bill 351, a voter ID bill, will help stop the thousands of fraudulent and illegal alien voters from stealing voting rights from honest Americans. It has passed the house by a vote of 67-50!

If all three of these bills become law, illegal aliens will be cut off from jobs, welfare, and voting access in North Carolina!

We are developing and learning new techniques and this has been done by using the methods we developed to defeat in-state tuition for illegals in 20 states!

Also SB 205 - no public benefits to illegal aliens - passed the NC Senate. Is now in the house rules committee
