Michael Steinberg's campaign to unseat Republican incumbent Robert Pittenger from North Carolina's 9th district is being endorsed by Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) today due to Pittenger's support for a form of amnesty for illegal immigrants similar to what Barack Obama wants too!

ALIPAC took the incumbent DC insider Robert Pittenger (202-225-1976) to task last month when an email from the group Fwd.us celebrated Pittenger's support for a pathway to legalization and eventual voting rights for millions of illegal immigrants. Robert Pittenger's support for changing existing laws to accommodate millions of illegal aliens was further confirmed in an article written by Franco Ordonez of McClatchy on Feb. 10, 2014 leading ALIPAC to add Pittenger to the list of 36 GOP members of Congress working with Boehner and Obama to pass a nation altering amnesty bill for illegal aliens!

"We are happy to extend all the support we can to Michael Steinberg in the GOP Primary of 2014 against Robert Pittenger since Pittenger is on record supporting the same immigration reform ideas backed by Barack Obama," said William Gheen President of ALIPAC and former assistant Sgt-At Arms to the NC Senate Pittenger served in. "Pittenger has a lot of money and will receive even more from his liberal allies that value his support for amnesty. But if we can accurately inform GOP voters of Pittenger's stances and Mark Steinberg's opposition to amnesty for illegals we can defeat Robert Pittenger!"

Michael Steinberg completed ALIPAC's 2014 Federal Candidate Survey where he promises to 'Support Americans and legal immigrants by supporting the adequate enforcement of America's existing border and immigration laws as the US Constitution requires for the protection of American jobs, elections, taxpayer resources, health, and lives' whereas Robert Pittenger would undermine and destroy our existing borders and immigration laws by putting tens of millions of illegals on a path to dominating future US elections and legislation.

North Carolina's primaries will be decided in six weeks and ALIPAC is currently endorsing more than 90 federal candidates. The national organization was founded on 9/11 of 2004 and is encouraging the more than 50,000 supporters to vote, volunteer, and donate to endorsed candidates who have made opposing amnesty for illegal immigrants an important part of their campaigns.
