Trump Endorsement of Amnesty Backing Rep. Ellmers Contradicts Promises

On the eve of tomorrow's special GOP primary elections in North Carolina, Donald Trump's endorsement of Congresswoman Renee Ellmers, and robo call (click to listen), is cause for concern and disappointment among the very anti establishment and anti-illegal immigration constituencies that handed Trump his GOP Presidential primary victory!

Instead of endorsing anti establishment GOP primary candidates running against illegal immigration amnesty backers like John McCain, Paul Ryan, and Renee Ellmers, Donald Trump is reciprocating the endorsement of Congresswoman Renee Ellmers who is a fanatical open borders advocate that has openly promised Hispanic groups that she supports a path to legal work status and eventual citizenship and voting rights for illegal immigrants!

"We do not understand why Donald Trump is endorsing Renee Ellmers when Ellmers is part of the DC establishment with a record supporting a form of amnesty for illegal aliens that is 100% opposite of what American voters believe the Trump campaign is promising with a border wall and full deportation of illegals," said William Gheen, President of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC). "Why is Donald Trump trying to reelect a pro amnesty, DC establishment, Mark Zuckerberg backed RINO like Renee Ellmers? His endorsement and robotic call on her behalf is very disturbing and disappointing."

ALIPAC has been encouraging NC voters to vote against Renee Ellmers because she is on The Cantor List which is a list that tracks all of the GOP incumbents that share Rep. Eric Cantor's support for Amnesty for illegals. Cantor was thrown out of office by groups like ALIPAC in a landslide in 2014 by the current Rep. Dave Brat that made an issue of Cantor's support for the same amnesty plans backed by Renee Ellmers.

ALIPAC's Cantor List profile for Renee Ellmers (click to view) has VIDEOS of Ellmers promising pro amnesty Hispanic groups legal status (click to view) for illegal immigrant workers, and documenting Ellmers statement to radio show host Laura Ingraham (click to view) that voters that oppose her form of immigration reform amnesty are "small-minded" and "ignorant"!

Here is a video ALIPAC is releasing of Renee Ellmers yelling at anti-amnesty activists like Ron Woodard of NC Listen....

    https://youtu.be/N9xDyylKGHc

Before this year's elections, Ellmers removed language from her campaign website that read "we need to address the millions of people who are already in this country and formulate a process for them to earn legal work status. Immigration reform is essential to building a healthy, growing American economy and I'm excited to continue this discussion as we begin debating the next steps in Washington."

On January 14, 2015, The Hill Magazine reported that the US House voted 236-191 on an amendment to block funding for President Obama’s immigration orders which are amnesty decrees that are unconstitutional, illegal, and being challenged by 26 states in court! Renee Ellmers, was one of only 10 Republicans to vote with Obama's Democrats against the amendment to defund Obama's amnesty! (click for news source)

Then again on Jan 20, 2015, Breitbart news reported that Renee Ellmers was the first of 26 GOP lawmakers to vote against the Blackburn Amendment to defund Obama’s executive amnesty! It appears that Politico’s communist writer Seung Min Kim was so excited that she tweeted “Ellmers is [the] first GOP no vote.” (click to view article)

pro Amnesty tycoon Mark Zuckerberg's amnesty support group FWD.us bought massive amounts of commercial time on local radio stations with commercials that falsely proclaimed, "Renee Ellmers opposes amnesty."

Politico's Jessica Myers reported on 7/8/14 that Zuckerberg's amnesty advocacy group spent at least $150,000 backing Renee Ellmers with ads!

Daniel Horowitz reports in the Conservative Review that Ellmers is "a fighter for the Boehner K Street political elites. There is perhaps no sitting member who embodies the source of anger among Republican voters – the anger that has engendered the rise of Trump in the first place – more than Renee Ellmers."

ALIPAC is calling on NC voters to reject the candidacy of Renee Ellmers by voting for Rep. George Holding or Greg Brannon in tomorrow's June 7 elections. For more information or to schedule interviews please visit www.ALIPAC.us

What a disappointment. The buffoonery I can barely deal with anymore, but the betrayal of action and words will speak very loud in my world. How will Trump ever garner the necessary support in Congress to accomplish his bold objectives with respect to deporting illegal immigrants and building a wall if he supports pro amnesty candidates like Renee Ellmers?

He should not even be dealing with his business matters anymore at this stage of the presidential election cycle. Why is he so embattled in a $5M lawsuit with an American federal judge when he needs to focus on a $500T world economy? I guess I am with stupid for now. I have been waiting for the pivot, for the man to step up and act presidential and for the man to appoint people to cabinet posts so we can see better into his plans and strategy, but nothing yet, still waiting patiently.

I must admit for the first time, I am feeling as if he is a loose cannon right now and I am pinning my hopes on someone who is planting seeds of doubt in me with respect to his seriousness and smarts to be the president. Sorry folks I am not bailing on him, but he needs to start listening to people who can help him about what is really important now. I wonder how Sen. Sessions feels about this?

I wonder if he is familiar with her agenda? Why did he endorse her in the first place?

Renee Ellmers was the first member of Congress to Endorse Trump. She probably did so to help mask her support for amnesty for illegals which is the issue most likely to cost her this primary election.

Trump may have simply been reciprocating her endorsement without having his staff do the due diligence research on Ellmers.

According to the article, she endorsed Kasich first. Doesn't really matter...if she has not repositioned herself with respect to amnesty, then will Trump continue to endorse pro-amnesty candidates? How does that advance his agenda?

I just picked this up from our ALIPAC supporter and friend Ron King...

Ron King Not good -- also saw a local news clip that Trump tweeted support for Robert Pittenger (R-NC) who also has been wish-wash on amnesty -- this could be that Trump doesn't know better and is being told by RNC, Repubs to just do favor to endorse -- Trump needs to be told that this is bad -- can also contact Trump campaign to comment here: https://www.donaldjtrump.com/contact
So I went to Trump's twitter account and....

well, ive gone back through June 2 and found no comment about Pittenger yet....

Robert Pittenger embraces Donald Trump. Is the feeling mutual?

On day before crucial primary, Pittenger touts Trump endorsement

No word from Trump himself, however

Either way, does Pittenger also write off all judges with Hispanic heritage?

Charlotte Republican Robert Pittenger has gone all in on the Trump Train, but is the feeling mutual? Pittenger, who is running for re-election to Congress in the 9th District and has a primary on Tuesday, sent out emails this morning touting an endorsement from Donald Trump.

But the endorsement came from a Twitter account called @TeamTrumpNC. A spokesman for one of Pittenger’s opponents, Mark Harris, says that’s just a supporter of Trump, not affiliated with the Trump campaign, and that Trump himself has not endorsed Pittenger.

Pittenger’s camp, though, says the Trump endorsement has been confirmed by Scott Mason, Trump’s liaison to Congress. Trump’s N.C. director declined to comment to the Observer.

Harris spokesman Mark Knoop alleges Pittenger has a pattern of fudging endorsements. Pittenger’s website currently claims an endorsement from former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee even though Huckabee issued a statement Sunday saying he supports Harris, not Pittenger. In fact, Pittenger provides a link to the supposed Huckabee endorsement but the link goes to a Huckabee endorsement of Harris.

Huckabee’s statement said Pittenger is using a Huckabee endorsement from four years ago and that Huckabee had explicitly told the Pittenger camp it could not be used this year because he supports Harris. Late today, the Pittenger campaign said it didn’t realize the Huckabee endorsement was still up and it was supposed to have been taken down.

Instead of taking it down, though, the Pittenger campaign added a 2013 date to it and left it up.

The Pittenger campaign also listed state Rep. Dan Bishop as a supporter and took that down after Bishop, who has endorsed Harris, complained, Knoop said.

Whether Trump himself has endorsed Pittenger or not, Pittenger clearly wants to align himself with Trump. Harris and a third candidate, Todd Johnson, also say they support Trump. Which raises a few questions for all three of them.

    Such as:

Do you agree with Trump that Muslim judges and judges of Hispanic heritage are incapable of giving Trump (and regular people) a fair hearing in court?

Do you agree that Muslims should be banned from entering the United States?

Do you agree that Mexico sends rapists to the United States?

Do you believe Mexico will pay to build a wall?

Do you also believe thousands of Muslims cheered in New Jersey when the World Trade Center fell on 9/11?

Do you approve of Trump’s misogynistic comments?

Would you vote in Congress to appropriate money to a Trump effort to deport 11 million immigrants who are here illegally?

Do you agree that America should kill the innocent family members of suspected terrorists?

Brian Walsh, a Republican strategist, tweeted Sunday: “I don’t care if he’s the nominee – Republicans should loudly condemn this racist, nonsensical rhetoric by Trump.” We haven’t heard 9th District candidates do that.

The Washington Post reports that GOP operative Rick Wilson wrote a column this weekend warning candidates like Pittenger about getting too close to Trump. “You own his politics. You own his policies, even the ones that only last as long as the next contradiction. You own the racial animus that started out as a bug, became a feature and is now the defining characteristic of his campaign. You own every crazy, vile chunk of word vomit that spews from his mouth,” Wilson wrote.

Pittenger has clearly calculated that embracing Trump is the best way to win Tuesday’s primary. Voters should demand to know what Pittenger’s promised “unity” with Trump includes. -- Taylor Batten

Now we need to figure out who Scott Mason is and why in the hell is he recommending Donald Trump endorse pro illegal alien amnesty Republicans that are on the Cantor List like Renee Ellmers and Robert Pittenger!

This kind of betrayal of trust on illegal immigration issues is the only pitfall that has the power to wreck the Trump campaign or Presidency.
