Thread: Two Hundred Million Pages Served!

Friends of ALIPAC,

We are excited to report that our primary website located at www.ALIPAC.us has just reached an important milestone!

We have just exceeded 200,000,000 million pages displayed since our founding on 9/11/2004. It took us approximately three and a half years to display our first one hundred million pages and less than two years to display our second hundred million.

While many of our website's page views were generated by programs sent by search engines like Google and Yahoo that visit to index our materials, and many were just people from around the globe peeking in for a second and then leaving, each page displayed represents a screen of information about illegal immigration broadcast.

We have now displayed over 200 million pages of articles, opinions, polls and surveys, comments, and resources to help Americans fight against illegal immigration and Amnesty.

Not only is www.ALIPAC.us the largest archive of information in existence on these topics, we have also revolutionized the Internet's long term memory. When Americans in 2010 decide to look into this issue, materials and articles from 2004-2010 await them online thanks to ALIPAC. Without our efforts, most of these articles and materials would no longer be accessible to the general public.

This 'Internet Memory' problem was a big issue that led to the formation of ALIPAC in 2004. We are using our funds, volunteerism and what remains of our freedoms of political speech to make sure this issue has a past that can be reached and traced. To truly understand an issue, you must know its past. So much of what happened in the fight against illegal immigration from the 80's and 90's is lost to us because the Internet had not matured to the level it has today and there was no ALIPAC archiving the news reports, videos, materials, etc.

Each week more American citizens, lawmakers, staffers, journalists, campaigns, police officers, soldiers, teachers, pundits, writers, and researchers access ALIPAC.us

We display between 3 and 5 million pages of materials per month, even though our ALIPAC website software is now severely out of date. We hope to be able to raise the funds needed for a massive overhaul of our core software, if this can be done, while protecting the databases of information we have built over the last five years.

Sometimes, ALIPAC.us moves slower than we would like, when over 1,000 people are on the site at the same time, even though we have our own dedicated server with many bells and whistles which is hosted by the same company that hosts AOL and Ebay.

Our hardware, software, and funding needs have all increased as time passes and demand increases. Right now we are paying close to $1,000 per month for hosting, website repairs and maintenance. Anything less than what we are currently doing would lead to a severe quality decrease in our services.

ALIPAC lead the way by becoming the most supported immigration enforcement organization this year in the combined social mediums of Facebook, Twitter, etc. These new methods of reaching out to Americans, combined with about ten other sister websites we have created, all interact with www.ALIPAC.us to form one of the nation's largest communications network fighting against Amnesty and illegal immigration.

While we are proud of our accomplishments and our efficiency, and we acknowledge that ALIPAC.us is having a very broad impact on the national efforts to stop and reverse illegal immigration, we know we must do more.

We must always be setting the bar higher and nothing less than making history will do!

We want to thank all of you who have joined us through our websites, read the news and exclusive releases at ALIPAC.us often on your own, donate to help us sustain and grow our operations, and volunteer on our activism and news archiving efforts.

We want to give a special thanks to those of you who comment beneath articles at ALIPAC.us thus creating a lasting online record of our views and opinions on these materials, including the highly biased articles coming from many of America's major newspapers.

When activists and researchers find this information at ALIPAC, they find it in a place where taking action on the issue is a click and e-mail alert sign up away. They find the information surrounded by opinions that are generally reflective of the 80% of Americans of all races and walks of life who want our borders secured and our existing immigration laws enforced, instead of any form of Amnesty for illegals.

Visitors to our site are also finding the phone numbers to call Immigration and Customs Enforcement along with resources for employers to screen their employees. We have our candidate endorsements which influence elections, and we have exclusive articles and press releases, which are quoted in the national and local media on a regular basis.

We often hear other leaders, congressional candidates, and writers using the messaging we broadcast, which is designed to favor our cause.

All of this has taken an immense amount of dedication from a very large group of people.

Today we celebrate 200 Million Pages of needed information served over the last six years by ALIPAC and we plan and put our shoulders to the wheel for our next historic milestone in the battle to stop and reverse illegal immigration in America.
