Isn't this high treason as indicated by the 11th ammendment of the Constitution?
http://classes.lls.edu/archive/manheimk ... 11th-t.htm
I need to sit down and read the law stuff (thanks for putting the links on here for me Azres) but Mexico IS on the list to sue Arizona, right? So, they have been so worried about Arizona defying the Constitution that they are defying it themselves?
Thanks!Check out my blog: www.theshadowvixenreport.wordpress.com

For ShadowVixenPatriot:
You're welcome on the links. Mexico itself is not suing AZ. but they were allowed to file an Amicus Curiae Brief (or Friend of the Court brief) to "further the Court's understanding" in this suit. It IS being allowed by the Court.

Adding to my previous post, here is a link to the actual AZ SB1070:

I can't see where the Fed's Suit holds water and hopefully, the Court will agree.

If you are able to do a quick search on a legal database, is there ANY precedent for this?
Also, Missouri has had a very similar law to AZ SB1070 which has yet to be challenged.
Do you see any reason Arizona wouldn't be able to defer to Missouri?Join our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & to secure US borders by joining our E-mail Alerts at http://eepurl.com/cktGTn

Sadly, I don't have access to a legal database - WestLaw and the others are very expensive and I'd rather contribute to the cause. My legal background is not in Constitutional Law so I don't know if there is a Precedent. Hopefully, someone out there will have access and respond.
I am confident that the AZ attorneys will bring up the Missouri and Virginia laws and any other states that have similar laws.

Concur. You can bet your next year's paycheck Governor Brewer's team is on it.
As for Eric Holder, he may not have even read SB1070 yet.
I'm sure Janet Naplitano will fill him in.

I am so mad the only thing I can think to do, beside calling my traitorous elected officials is make a donation to ALIPAC, $100.00 on the way William!
