[Listen] Illegals and Dems Spreading Diseases Among School Kids, Both Known and Unknown

Dr. Jane Orient is the Executive Director of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons and also the President of Doctors for Disaster Preparedness. She discusses with Laura Ingraham the threat posed by Ebola and the possibility of it being used as a weapon of mass destruction on the American population.
Dr. Charles Krauthammer raises the concern of a possible mutation of Ebola into a form which can be transmitted through the air from person to person. While the CDC still lists Ebola as only being transmitted through intimate contact, their Canadian counterpart is putting out information which indicates that it can be transmitted through the air.

She believes that the open border is absolutely a serious concern that needs to be addressed immediately. While we can do a better job of screening the legal applicants, she reports that citizens of over one hundred different nations are known to have gained entry into the U.S. through our open borders with only a three percent apprehension rate. Some of the nations sending illegal aliens across include those in the Ebola hot spot of West Africa.
She points out we have no knowledge of who the people entering illegally are or where they are going and that often, the U.S. federal government is providing the transportation to “parts unknown” within the United States.
Laura Ingraham points out the terrible wages of an open border, citing four terrible effects of a government that is irresponsible and derelict with its immigration policies as cultural, economic, national security, constitutional, sovereignty and now medical.
Dr. Orient also speaks to the risk of drug resistant Tuberculosis and comments that it seems the only ones being harassed by Immigration are the people who are trying to follow the law.
She then talks of a previously rare disease, Enterovirus D68 virus, an intestinal virus with symptoms that include a paralysis similar to Polio, which is said to be transmitted not only through the fecal/oral route but through respiratory transmission. Doctor Orient says there have been over one thousand admissions of children who have been extremely sick with the disease, including many who required intensive care treatment.

She says we don’t know where it’s coming from, noting that school has just started, noting a possible connection with the unscreened, unchecked foreign imports from Central American countries. The Obama regime and DHS’s Jeh Johnson have been busy importing as many illegals as possible, irrespective of the serious health threat posed to the American population.
Laura Ingraham notes how she is broadcasting from the Washington, DC area, which received represents one of the largest concentrations of illegal alien warehousing of anywhere in the United States. She asks if they could be in the classrooms infecting other kids right now, to which Dr. Orient responds, “Yes, they could.”
She adds that we don’t know for sure, the government is being real tight-lipped about it. She points out that it only takes one sick child to infect an entire classroom, eventually leading to thousands of cases and hospital admissions.
Dr. Orient also notes that virtually all of the cases of drug-resistant TB which have been diagnosed in the United States have occurred in foreign-born individuals as is the case with all types of TB.
The threat is very real and very serious. It is growing daily and it is totally a Democrat and Obama regime creation that should have never happened. Americans will become infected, and many may die as the result of a deliberate, criminal act carried out by their government upon its citizens.

According to Weasle Zippers Speaking in a video message to residents of West African countries currently experiencing outbreaks of Ebola hemorrhagic fever, President Barack Obama dispensed advice on how residents can avoid and respond to the deadly disease, telling them that “the first step in this fight is knowing the facts” – including, according to the president, that a person “cannot get [Ebola] through casual contact like sitting next to someone on a bus.”

“First, Ebola is not spread through the air like the flu,” Obama explained in the video released by the White House Thursday. “You cannot get it through casual contact like sitting next to someone one a bus. You cannot get it from another person until they start showing symptoms of the disease, like fever.”

Obama also explained that “the most common way you can get Ebola is by touching the body fluids of someone who is sick or has died from it, like their sweat, saliva or blood, or through a contaminated item like a needle.”
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), however, advises humanitarian aid workers from the United States who travel to countries currently experiencing Ebola outbreaks to “avoid public transportation” if they develop a fever or experience other Ebola-like symptoms while on their trip.
Listed among their online recommendations for travelers journeying to Liberia, Guinea, Nigeria or Sierra Leone, the CDC advises travelers who begin to exhibit possible Ebola symptoms and choose to visit a doctor to “Limit your contact with other people when you travel to the doctor; avoid public transportation.”

Healthcare Workers Just Revealed The Truth About Ebola That Obama Wants To Stay A Secret

...the facts are far different from what’s being reported.

As the CDC and the Obama administration try to reassure the public they’re in control, federal agents and healthcare workers are telling an entirely different story.
After announcing yesterday that the federal government would be implementing new screening procedures at five of the nation’s top airports, in response to an infected Ebola patient showing up in the U.S., federal agents and the nation’s nurses are sounding alarm bells about this country’s emergency preparedness.

According to an article from NBC News in New York, federal U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents are saying they are not prepared, and have not been trained to implement the government’s new screening procedures. An agent who works on the front lines at Newark International Airport, one of the airports where the new Ebola screening procedures are supposed to be taking place, says customs officers lack appropriate training and equipment to handle potential Ebola cases.
He told NBC News:

“They are assuring the public everything is being done, but it is not,” the agent told NBC 4 New York, adding there are currently no doctors or CDC personnel assigned to the airport for when flights with passengers from West Africa arrive.

Outside La Guardia Airport in New York, 200 airport employees responsible for cleaning airplane cabins began a 24-hour strike on Wednesday over health and safety concerns, including possible exposure to Ebola while cleaning the airliner’s cabins.
The cleaning crews, all of whom operate out of Terminal D, say they’re not properly equipped to handle the hazardous materials they regularly come into contact with — including blood, feces and hypodermic needles. Fed up over what they say are unsafe working conditions, and fearful over having inadequate protection from Ebola, the crews walked off the job.

Nation’s Healthcare Workers Warning of Coming Crisis

Last week National Nurses United, the largest union and professional association of registered nurses in U.S., put out a warning claiming that U.S. hospitals were not prepared for Ebola, or any potential Pandemic Outbreak. In their press release they claimed that 87% of their U.S. nurses have received no information or training on how to deal with Ebola – something we’ve been warning about for some time now.
Back in August I wrote an article on how prepared U.S. hospitals are to stop a pandemic outbreak; in the article I cited the CDC’s own numbers, showing just how big the problem really is. According to the CDC, 1.7 million people are infected by healthcare related infections every year in this country, with over 99,000 dying from hospital acquired infections.
While the CDC plays lip service to how prepared they are to prevent an Ebola outbreak, the facts are far different from what’s being reported. If our nation’s hospitals can’t even prevent normal everyday infections from spreading inside their doors, what do you think will happen during an actual pandemic outbreak?

Keep Ebola Out of America

Let’s treat victims abroad before letting them back into the country.

As the Ebola infection rate and death toll continue to rise rapidly on the African continent, many of us have become complacent with the measures we have taken to protect Americans from this deadly disease.
Other nations, such as England, have gone so far as to ban flights bound from the affected regions of Africa. The Centers for Disease Control and various infectious-disease specialists have done a yeoman’s job in their efforts to prevent infected individuals in our country from contaminating others. They have put excellent protocols in place that would virtually guarantee complete safety. Unfortunately, all of those valiant efforts cannot preclude human error, which remains an ever-present danger, regardless of intellect.

For this reason, I and many others are not comfortable with the idea of bringing infected individuals into our midst when we can readily treat them elsewhere and happily receive them back once the infectious danger has passed.When one does a logical benefit-to-risk analysis, it is clear that the worst things that could happen by intentionally bringing this dangerous disease to America are far worse than the best things that could happen. Some say if we bring infected individuals here, it will accelerate research endeavors and a potential cure or effective vaccination. Others say that not bringing infected citizens back demonstrates an insensitivity toward wonderful people who risk their lives for others. I am sympathetic to these arguments, and if we did not have safer alternatives, they would convince me.
Perhaps we should be concentrating on stopping the spread of Ebola in Africa and eradicating it from Earth. Like the war on terrorism, we should fight it elsewhere to decrease the likelihood of needing to fight it here. African lives are every bit as valuable as lives in America or anywhere else, and this humanitarian crisis has enormous health implications for the whole world. If, as some officials say, bringing infected individuals back here expedites the acquisition of knowledge that could lead to a cure, as all components of the disease can be more carefully studied, why not transport more researchers and facilities to the heart of the epidemic and dramatically accelerate the process?
I have no desire to induce panic, but we must realize that some viruses are known to undergo mutations that make them even more virulent. If the Ebola virus becomes even more pathologic, the ensuing panic and destruction of human life could go far beyond what is currently being acknowledged. This means there is some urgency to getting the outbreak in Africa under control.
The point is: This is an extremely dangerous disease with the potential to spread throughout several African countries and, subsequently, into other parts of the world, including the United States. Most crises prompt warnings that, if heeded and acted upon, can avert disaster. On the other hand, if arrogance and mistakes characterize the response, horrendous results are likely to ensue.
If we stop trying to prove we are right — whatever our opinions are — and instead concentrate our efforts on halting the spread of the disease where it is concentrated and finding a cure, perhaps we can avert needless panic and death throughout Africa, America, and the world.

Sheryl Attkisson, the bane of ABC News and our Dear Leader’s White House, reports today that the deadly enterovirus D-68, which has killed five children in America recently, is showing up more often in the U.S. cities where immigrant children were secretly relocated by the Obama administration over the past year.
Attkisson reports, At least five children infected with the respiratory illness known enterovirus D68 (EV-D68) have died in the U.S. in the past month. She goes on to say, Though the U.S. government is keeping secret the locations of the illegal immigrant children, there are significant numbers of them in both cities in which the current outbreak was first identified, Kansas City, Missouri and Chicago, Illinois, according to local advocates and press reports. Perhaps this is why the U.S. government is keeping their location secret? Because it doesn’t want this truth known to the American people?
And another question, why is their location secret at all? How does our federal government have the power to secretly relocate people around the country at will? Why isn’t the mainstream media following up on this story? With the Ebola outbreak, you would think this scandal would be at the top of every newscast in America tonight. Somehow, I don’t think it will be. Last year, medical personnel found the EV-D68 virus while testing children from the Central American countries involved in our immigration crisis. Attkisson should be commended for breaking this story.
This is just one more example, added to a long list, of instances where this administration has failed to protect America. Terrorism is not just bombings or airplanes crashing into buildings. Food safety and food terrorism, water contamination, bio-terrorism, cyber warfare, are all issues our country has to think about seriously and confront. The fact that Obama let tens of thousands of people into this country and secretly relocated them is an outrage. Communities don’t know who these people are and even worse, don’t know what they don’t know.
Shouldn’t local health authorities have been alerted to this probable health risk? Wouldn’t parents of children in these communities schools have been alerted to the possible risks? He says he has a pen and a phone. Why didn’t he just issue an executive order to deport these immigrants? Well, we know the answer to that one.
