On Wednesday, deputies with the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) arrested Jose Javier Guerra, 23, after he reportedly broke into a home on Adele’s Way in Hendersonville, and stabbed the residents.
Shortly before 8:30 p.m., Guerra forced his way in the home, broke a mirror and assaulted the two homeowners with pieces of that mirror, inflicting serious injuries, according to Henderson County Chief Deputy Frank Stout.
A HCSO press release stated:

Due to the extensive damage to the home and a large amount of blood found at the scene, violent crimes investigators were called for further follow up. During interviews and a canvass of the neighborhood by officers seeking witnesses, Guerra was located and arrested without a major incident.

Guerra has been charged with first-degree burglary, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill–inflicting serious injury. He is currently being held at the Henderson County Detention Center on $160,000, as well a conditional ICE detainer (as per all arrested DACA recipients).
