There are several escalating trends that have been defining America, particulalrly since World War 2. Job Growth is one of those. I have long ago concluded that job growth is too easily confused with Productivity growth. Today, with so many jobs fallling in the managerial and administrative category (Service sector), there can be an explosion of created 'jobs'---but with little true wealth to show for it. Service sector growth still requires payment in hard cash, therefore America requires importing workers who can actually accomplish a material purpose.
