Two courageous members of the Illinois legislature have introduced bills to protect Illinois citizens from those whom would give our state away. The first hurdle is to gain Co-sponsors and prod the bills forward through the various committees and to the floor of the Illinois House or Illinois Senate.

HB5756: CD CORR-ILLEGAL ALIENS
Would require notification of I.C.E. and Homeland Security of the suspected presence of Illegal Aliens within Illinois State Prisons.

Introduced by: The Courageous Harry R. Ramey Jr.v (R) Representative 55th District

Synopsis As Introduced:
Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Provides that upon admission of a committed person to a facility of the Department of Corrections or to a facility of the Department of Juvenile Justice and upon the discharge of such person from either such Department, each such Department, if it suspects that such person is an alien of the United States who is unlawfully present within the United States in violation of the federal Immigration and Nationality Act shall notify the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) of the admission or discharge of such alien from the facility.

ACTION 1: At least once a week till 15 March, your calls expressing your desires are needed to each member listed below belonging to the Illinois House Rules Committee. Put the message in your own words, you do not need to even say if you support or don't support the bill or give specific reasons at that time. (That specific type of pressure will be needed later, currently we just need the bill out of the Rules Committee to the appropriate committee, so it doesn't just sit and die.)

IMPORTANT NOTE: When calling if the office should ask if you are calling on behalf of an organization, remember we are all acting as citizens first; so we suggest that you advise them that you are calling as a citizen. This has much more influential and is more accurate reflection of who you are.

SUGGESTED TALKING POINTS:
You are calling because the member is on the House Rules Committee and you ask that HB 5756 (CD CORR-ILLEGAL ALIENS) be moved out of the Rules Committee to the Appropriate Committee as soon as possible.
