I know the migrational issue comes up quite a bit at UN discussions. But, also, remember that every other government in the world is experiencing difficulties with people moving illegally over their borders and they don't like it either. So we do have that in common with other governments that function within the UN.

The cross-border migration issue is pushed by certain factions such as the International Labor Organization, headed by Juan Somavia:

and to a lesser extent by the Commission on Refugees, UNHCR:

but that doesn't mean that individual governments buy into the idea. There should be a consistent policy and not expect the US and Europe to take the overwhelming majority of displaced persons. But behind that, determing what has caused the refugee problem in the first place and addressing it. But how do you do that without some form of global, cooperative government?

Instead they just all come here, where it is ready-made. But SOMETHING needs to be done about this pressing issue, because as Cap Ron said, this is a huge incentive driving them here. Again, I honestly don't know what the answer is
Well, here is a link to the Urban Forum, ( every two years, 2006 was in Vancouver, BC; this year in Nanjing, China)where a lot of these issues are discussed:

Freedom 21, an annual gathering of political, economic and social policy leaders, will focus on the dangers inherent in the United Nations’ global strategy outlined in Agenda 21.

Baldwin, the Constitution Party candidate for president, is a minister, radio talk show host and writer. He has been an outspoken critic of the United Nations’ aggressive Agenda 21, a program Baldwin calls “the mechanism by which Americans are rapidly losing their sovereignty, their Constitutionally- guaranteed rights and their libertiesâ€
