Anchor babies used as an excuse.

Illegal aliens that are up for deportation that have American born children are complaining that they cannot take their Americans born children to Mexico, etc because they do not know the language or the culture, but those same illegals had no problem bringing their Spanish speaking children with them when they crossed over our border illegally.
The real culture shock come after this bill give them legal status and they can bring in their elderly parents. They have no chance of assimilating to our language and culture. But, children are moved around all the time from state to state and leave their schools and friends and they adapt very well and are resilient to change.
Those deported only want to use their anchor babies an excuse to stay here and reap the benefits our country has to offer. They are many benefits for them in Mexico. There is work and there is opportunity.
Mexico has a guest worker program that brings people in form south of their border.
Mexico universities, colleges and trade schools are begging for students to apply for aid and grants, etc.
We have enough poor, hungry and homeless people and we do not need to import more.

The automatic birthright citizenship has to be repealed. It is the worst of all incentives.
There will be children born during the two years allowed for guest workers to be here with their families. Will they be an anchor?

Pistov, you are correct. The fourteenth amendment was never meant to give automatic citizenship. This has been grossly mis-interpreted.

These senators need to realize that many people coming here illegallly are women who have no intention of ever working here. They quickly have US born children and then collect the benefits. Illegals coming here to work are just part of the problem; many of them never intend to get a job.
