Arizona is only exercising her rights as a state to live by the rule of law. Just how many people - citizens - do you think America can hold and provide with jobs and a life? There are currently about 310 million people living here (legally), and almost seven billion in the world. Where are we expected to put all of those illegal immigrants (actually aliens) who are flooding our country?

The reason for legal immigration is to help the country grow slowly, and in a way that benefits all of America. The folks crashing the party are illegal. They are not welcome here. They need to go home and either come in the right way (yes it takes time, but anything worth having usually does), or do something about their own country, make it a better and more productive place to live.
This whole thing is out of control. The federal government has long been out of control, and way out of line. If they'd have done their job, we wouldn't be having these discussions. Arizona is right, Jan Brewer is right, they are within the law ... legal. All illegal aliens and their supporters are wrong.
They are illegal [and] that means they are lawbreakers. That seems so hard for people who should be intelligent to understand ... guess the emphasis is on "should be intelligent." And now to have the Mexican drug cartels claiming American soil as has happened in three of Arizona's counties, is a disgrace ... whatever Arizona does ... they are well within their rights, and I for one, old as I am, will stand with them, as will all true Americans!
