“Armed and Dangerous” – Glenn Beck reveals new information on Ali Al-Harbi and his gov’t event file

Glenn Beck revealed new information today on his radio show regarding the event file on the Saudi national Ali Al-Harbi that he mentioned on Monday, and it’s not good. It also makes that photo with FLOTUS all the more curious:

THE BLAZE – But Wednesday, Beck presented new information after a Blaze source directly read the original event file, and multiple government sources with knowledge of the case and files contributed their knowledge.

Napolitano could serve “jail time for perjury,” Beck declared, and she will be “the first to fall.”

Here are a couple of new points, as Beck related them:

• At the time the event file was created for Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi, it indicated he was “armed and dangerous”​
• Alharbi was admitted into the country under a “special advisory option,” which is usually reserved for visiting politicians, VIPs, or journalists. The event file cover page indicates he was granted his status without full vetting.
• One of the first excuses given by law enforcement when confronted about Alharbi’s pending deportation was an expired visa. But according to the event file, his visa is good until 11-NOV-2016.
• The event file indicates he entered the U.S. on 08/28/12 in Boston, MA but says he is a student at the University of Findlay, in Findlay, Ohio. He has an apartment in Boston, and doesn’t seem to have been a full-time student in Ohio.
• When a file is created in the system the author(s) are notified via email when it is accessed, and given the email address of the person accessing, so there is a record within the government data system of who deleted them. It was amended to remove the deportation reference, then someone later went in and tried to destroy both the original event file and an amended versions. Copies had already been made.

• The original event file was reviewed and approved by two high level agents – Chief Watch Commander Maimbourg and Watch Commander Mayfield.

Beck explained: “Subject is an exact match to that no fly order. That means, we have been presented bad information…and it was reviewed, and found to be sufficient. Subject has One (1) prior event…When they opened this when he was at the hospital, they found he’s already in the system!”

“A 212, 3B is from the Patriot Act…It is the biggest warning we can put on anybody,” he explained for those unfamiliar with the term. “You do not put people’s name on there easily…this is a terrorist designation, and there is a panel of agencies that you have to go and make your case to. It’s not like you’re standing in the hospital room and they say: ‘Make him a 212,3B.’ And if they ​are, they’re abusing their power….It is so rare that somebody’s name is taken off outside of death, that none of ours sources can tell us that it’s ever happened. It is laughable what Janet Napolitano said yesterday.”

Something is terribly wrong!! This, by all appearances is a MASSIVE COVER-UP that puts American lives in extreme risk. What is going on here!!? There needs to be arrests made of ALL those involved, including those in our government who are complicit. This is a dangerous event that could light a fuse to something FAR worse!

Ms. Napolitano also said that a Saudi national who was initially questioned by police in the immediate wake of the bombings was never on a federal "watch list" nor was he "really a person of interest." She said "this student was in the wrong place in the wrong time."

That individual who hasn’t been identified by police was later released.

From the April 24, 2013 edition of "The Glenn Beck Radio Program"- The real story about the Saudi National who was originally taken into custody immediately following the Bostom Marathon bombings. Glenn Beck drops the hammer on Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano...Glenn gives actual evidence from The Blaze that she- and possibly others in the Obama administration- are involved in a cover up related to the Boston Marathon Terrorist Attacks.

Napolitano admitted Tuesday that a Saudi national once identified as a "person of interest" in the Boston Marathon bombings was put on a terror watchlist after the attack.

Last week, she refused to answer any questions about the Saudi, calling South Carolina Rep. Jeff Duncan's inquiry "so full of misstatements and misapprehension that it's just not worthy of an answer."

But today, speaking at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on immigration reform, Napolitano responded to a question posed by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa).

"Before the [Tsarnaev] brothers became the focus of the investigation, authorities questioned a Saudi student who reportedly was on a terror watchlist," Grassley said. "I sent a letter to you this morning asking for answers to questions about the bombers and how they interacted with your agency, I trust you will promptly respond..."

"With regard to the Saudi student, was he on a watchlist, and if so, how did he obtain a student visa?" Grassley asked.

Napolitano firmly responded: "He was not on a watchlist. What happened is — this student was, really when you back it out, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was never a subject. He was never even really a person of interest. Because he was being interviewed, he was at that point put on a watchlist, and then when it was quickly determined he had nothing to do with the bombing, the watch listing status was removed."

Protect Americans, Not Politicians

Glenn Beck has been investigating the curious case of the Saudi national that was arrested on the day of the Boston Marathon bombings. No other media outlet other than The Blaze appears to be interested in the bizarre and contradictory statements made by Janet Napolitano.

In fact, a writer for the Christian Science Monitor calls it "Glenn Beck's conspiracy theory" and wrote that Fox News' Bret Baier "Has already looked into the alleged Saudi conspiracy" and that he concluded that there was nothing there.

What the writer fails to mention is that Bret Baier is an employee of Fox and subject to the editorial dictates of his network bosses while Mr. Beck owns his network.

The media is supposed to be the watchdog of the people and not the lapdog of the politicians. Except for the doggedness of The Blaze's coverage, Janet Napolitano wouldn't have had to change her story with regards to Abdul Rahman Alharbi.

When terror attacks occur on American soil, I don't consider the victims to be Democrats or Republicans; they are fellow Americans. It could be me as easily as it could be my neighbors or strangers that are victimized.

It shouldn't matter whose party is in control of the administration; our political leadership should be held accountable to the American people for their mistakes or oversights. History has proven that government cannot be trusted and the last line of defense is an inquisitive press corps.

It's time for the media to stop trying to protect certain politicians and remember who it is they're really supposed to represent. Thank you to Glenn Beck and his folks at The Blaze for doing the job that most American media outlets refuse to do.

All week, TheBlaze has been following up on the Saudi national who was initially investigated for several hours before being downgraded to merely a witness and ultimately released. Where is he now? What did authorities find in his apartment? These are just some of the questions remaining as the case continues to unfold. And earlier today, Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano revealed that Abdul Rahman Al-Harbi was placed on a watch list.

That’s a very different statement than what Napolitano had said when questioned about the story last week whenshe told Rep. Duncan that his questions were ”so full of misstatements and misapprehension that it’s just not worthy of an answer”.

Similarly, we now have a government no longer seems to respect its job of being of the people, by the people. “So America, you are going to two places. You’ve got two choices,” Glenn said. “You’ve got the people who are in bed with big brother and are telling you things that you know are not true.”

“No, you see, see, America, it’s really not that hard to figure out what’s conspiracy and what’s not. You look at the patterns of people,” Glenn explained. “Is this pattern of this government to take responsibility, to tell you the truth on what’s really going on, or is the pattern of this government to tell you, ‘You’ve got to sign it before you figure out what’s in it.’ Is the pattern of this government to throw people under the bus that do not agree with them, while they hide the things that they’ve really done?”

There are certainly no easy answers to the problems that face America today. There has been a breach of trust on the part of both the government and the media that will be hard to reverse.

But ultimately it will be up to the American people to put their differences aside and decide just how important the truth is. In turn, they will also have to be diligent in parsing out the disinformation that exists.

“You’re going to have to decide,” Glenn concluded. “I’ve made my decision, and I would suggest that we stop arguing with each other and we find people that maybe we disagree with, but we can still see the light of day. We can still see the light of truth. We can still see who we are and what the truth is of what happens to our country if we fly apart and we don’t trust anything.

We’ve got to trust something. And that something has to be based in fact and has to be based in common sense.”
