I don't think you would consider it an appropriate term if your job was stolen by an illegal alien or immigrant and to feed your family you needed food stamps to eat or Medicaid for medical treatment.

Yeah, well what if your just too darn lazy to work and prefer taking advantage of the system? Can you deny that there are some American citizens that fit that bill? I'm not "trivializing anything, just calling something not physically earned what it is. I also believe in calling illegal immigrants what they are, which is not undocumented immigrants. Charity, handouts, and goodies are just words with virtually the same meaning.

Besides all that, the context that "goodies" was used in was specifically appropriate in this situation. Some illegals do come and remain here because of the many "goodies" that are made available to them. We must stop the illegal alien goody train!

Ben Carson has stated that "we have taken the moral low road on this [the immigration] issue…" And, he has repeatedly said he supports giving illegal immigrants a path to legalization and eventual citizenship.

Mr.Carson tells indicates we must show compassion towards those who have invaded our borders. But where is Carson's compassion for American Citizens who have been made into tax slaves to support the economic needs of tens of millions of poverty stricken, poorly educated, low and unskilled foreigners who have invaded our borders?

Where is Ben Carson's compassion for American Citizens who have been squeezed out of decent paying jobs in the construction trades by illegal entrants who work off the books, below the going wage and do not pay taxes on their earned wages which is how they compete for these jobs?

Where is Ben Carson's compassion for American Citizens who have had their schools disrupted and destroyed by the flood of illegal entrants into these schools?

Where is Ben Carson's compassion for American Citizens who have lost their local emergency rooms which have been bankrupted and had to close down because illegal entrants use these facilities and do not pay for the service they receive?

And where is Ben Carson's compassion for our nation's inner city Black youth who have been squeezed out of unskilled entry level jobs by illegal entrants?

Seems to me Ben Carson has more compassion for those who have invaded our borders than caring about the general welfare of the United States and the devastating effects inflicted upon American citizens from those who have invaded our borders.

Ben Carson's liberal type of compassion has helped to create some of the devastating effects which American Citizens now suffer and has helped to destroy America from within!

As a candidate for president of the United States, Mr. Carson needs to rethink his "compassion" towards illegal entrants and worry about America's general welfare and the best interest of her citizens instead of the interests of those who have invaded our borders and break our laws.

Ben Carson has repeatedly indicated he would give legal status to millions of poverty stricken, poorly educated, low and unskilled aliens who have invaded our borders. But Carson’s compassion for these illegal entrants does not take into account the devastating financial burden which would be thrust upon American citizens who would be taxed to finance Carson’s compassion. This issue was partly addressed this past Friday when a Federal Appeals Court struck down Obama’s desire which is similar to Carson’s which is to legalize millions of foreigners who have invaded our borders and broken our laws!

The question is, will tonight’s debate moderators question Carson and the other candidates [Bush, Rubio, and John Kasich] why they propose to legalize millions of illegal entrants when their presence will make American citizens tax slaves to support their economic needs?

As of this writing, I have yet to hear a media personality on FoxNews confront one of the above mentioned candidates, including Ben Carson, on this critical issue. Nor have I heard one ask the above candidates if they would support and advocate a policy which would make it very uncomfortable for these illegal entrants to stay such as:

impose a stiff jail sentence one illegal entrants if caught working in our country;

require business owners to utilize e-verify when hiring;

severely punishing business owners who knowingly hire illegal aliens;

require emergency rooms to use e-verify when treating suspected aliens;

denying illegal entrants any medical care (excepting in a life death situation);

deny the children of illegal aliens access to a State’s public schools system;

forbid and make it a crime for illegals to live in any public housing unit or section eight housing;

and never allow a person who has entered our country illegally to re-enter our country legally in the future, all of which would actually encourage many illegal entrants to swiftly exit our country on their own.
