Bill O'Reilly Slams Efforts to Clarify Birthright Citizenship as Futile, Again

This evening, Bill O'Reilly (Fox News) took verbal stabs at those who believe that birthright citizenship does not apply to the children of illegal aliens. He slammed talk radio promoting the idea that it has been and is wrongly applied .

He had 2 guests, both pro his view.

    1) David Rifkin, Reagan Dept. of Justice Official

    2) John HOO, Former Deputy Assistant Attorney General

Mr. Rifkin actually stumped for Jeb Bush during his appearance.

Then he had Marco Rubio on as a guest to further his attempts to shame and name call those who want this farce of birthright citizenship to illegal alien children born in the United States to stop.

Bill O'Reilly is calling the American people opposed to birthright citizenship, "Nativist." He is saying this whole discussion is dangerous.

So he had a Jeb Bush supporter and Marco Rubio to shout down the American people.

I would have enjoyed a debate with Mark Levin on the following:

    http://video.foxnews.com/v/443361775...#sp=show-clips

“Senator Jacob Howard, the author of the citizenship clause of the Fourteenth Amendment – he spoke – he told us what he meant. He defined who would fall within the ‘jurisdiction of the United States.’ Ready?

“‘Every person born within the limits of the United States, and subject to their jurisdiction, [meaning the states – their jurisdiction] is, by virtue of natural law and national law, a citizen of the United States. This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers accredited to the government of the United States, but will include every other class of persons. It settles the great question of citizenship and removes all doubt as to what persons are or are not citizens of the United States. This has long been a great issue in the jurisprudence and legislation of this country.’

(snip) Is it not plain English? Is he not as clear as can be, that it does not include aliens, it does not include foreigners, it does not include families or with ambassadors or foreign ministers?

“So, the author of the citizenship clause intended to count foreigners, aliens and those born to ambassadors, foreign ministers, as outside the jurisdiction of the United States. That’s Senator Jacob Howard. He knew, as his reference to natural law indicates that the republican basis for citizenship is consent – consent of the country.

“You can’t self-immigrate. You can’t claim jurisdiction because you happen to walk into the United States."

So what is he saying about Senator Jacob Howard, the author of the 14th amendment, Ted Cruz, Rick Santorum, Bobby Jindal, Scott Walker, Mark Levin, and the many voices who disagree with him?

Bill O'Reilly always says he is looking out for the people. Well, the people want it stopped.

It can be done. The American people want it done. We have a government, a White House that does whatever it wants with disregard for the Constitution and for "we the people."

It is funny to watch all of these "know-it-alls" spin, spin, spin and treat us like we are dummies and need their guidance.

At this link are the videos of the birthright citizenship discussions.

    1) Bill O'Reilly's Talking Points and the first two guests who agreed with him.

    2) Video of O'Reilly's discussion with Marco Rubio.

In the Talking points segment, O'Reilly said there could be a legal way to change it.

All these birthers are wrong. It's like they're morons who don't understand the difference between these two simple sets of words in our language:

    1. born in the USA
    2. born in the USA and subject to the jurisdiction thereof.

In our langauge these two phrases do not mean the same thing. They mean different things. O'Reilly and all these other fools believe our 14th Amendment as well as our Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 say 1 when they both say 2.

Subject to the jursidction of the United States does not mean foreign, alien, illegal alien, visitor, tourist, visa holder or even green card holder. It means citizens who belong to the territory of authority of the United States.

The Wong Kim Ark Supreme Court Ruling established citizenship for someone whose parents were legally in the US operating a business which would apply to resident business owners who have made investment in the US, not students, not tourists, not workers, not illegal aliens, but legal resident business owners operating a business from an investment they made, which does not in anyway authorize citizenship for children of illegal aliens.

There is no present law of any kind that authorizes the practice of handing our passports and social security numbers to the children of illegal aliens who by law are banned from our jurisdiction.

Persons banned from our jurisdiction can not possibly breed citizens of our jurisdiction. To think otherwise is an absurdity and to have a practice that recognizes such breeding as "citizenship" is a crime.
