Bombshell WikiLeaks: Arab Christians and White Males Rejected For Top Jobs in Obama Administration

From the very beginning when Obama was considering candidates for top positions in his administration, before he was ever elected, non-Muslim Arabs were discriminated against, reveals a leaked 2008 email.

An email dated September 29, 2008 from former New York Solicitor General Preeta Bansal, sent to a member of Obama’s transition team, Michael Froman (a classmate of Obama’s at Harvard and an executive at Citigroup) revealed that Arab Muslims were definitely preferred for top administration jobs.

Arab Americans who were Christian were excluded from the list.

The email also proves that the key factor in considering candidates for top administration was race and ethnicity – not job qualifications:

Here are the compiled lists of Asian American and Muslim American candidates for top Administration jobs, sub-cabinet jobs, and outside boards/agencies/policy committees. A couple things to note about the list of Muslim American candidates:

1) In the candidates for top jobs, I excluded those with some Arab American background but who are not Muslim (e.g., George Mitchell). Many Lebanese Americans, for example, are Christian. In the last list (of outside boards/commissions), most who are listed appear to be Muslim American, except that a handful (where noted) may be Arab American but of uncertain religion (esp. Christian).

After this exchange, the email was forwarded to John Podesta on October 17, 2008. Then, on October 26, Mike Froman followed up with Podesta, sending him a list of all minority candidates they could choose from for top administration roles, listed by race and ethnicity, including Arab/Muslim Americans,
Native Americans, African Americans, Latinos, Asian Americans, Disabled Americans and women.

Everyone was on the list except Christians and healthy white males.

Throughout his presidency, Obama has heaped praise upon Islam and the Muslim people. In addressing terror concerns, he has refused to utter the words “radical Islamic terrorist,” insisting we are not at war with Islam.

Of all the Syrian refugees Obama admitted into the United States in fiscal year 2016, less than 1 percent were Christian – the rest were all Muslim.

White healthy males were not on the list for top cabinet positions within the Obama administration.

In a bold new move, WikiLeaks has just exposed hacked email correspondence sent to and from Barack Obama before his inauguration in 2008.

One email confirms that Obama’s first priority in choosing candidates for senior level jobs in his administration was not necessarily who was most qualified, but those who could fill the role among a particular group of minorities – Arab/Muslim Americans, Native Americans, African Americans, Latinos, Asian Americans, Disabled Americans and women.

An email dated October 26, 2008 from Mike Froman (an executive with Citigroup, who later became an assistant to the president), was titled “Diversity”. He writes:

Following up on your conversations with John over the weekend, attached are two documents:

— A list of African American, Latino and Asian American candidates, divided between Cabinet/Deputy and Under/Assistant/Deputy Assistant Secretary levels, as well as lists of senior Native Americans, Arab/Muslim Americans and Disabled Americans. We have longer lists, but these are candidates whose names have been recommended by a number of sources for senior level jobs in a potential Administration.

— A list of women, similarly divided between candidates for Cabinet/Deputy and other senior level positions.

A few days prior to this email, an earlier portion of this correspondence included discussion that they would be EXCLUDING any Arab Americans who were Christian – preferring Muslim Americans for the top positions instead.
