In regard to the John McCain-Ted Kennedy comprehensive immigration reform plan, the American people spoke loud and clear and stopped it last year.

Amnesty is not the answer. Look what has happened since President Reagan passed amnesty for 3 million people. It has turned into 20 million more illegal immigrants draining the system.

We have to thank the Heritage Foundation for investigating. McCain has realized what the people's will is, that nothing should be done until the border is controlled.

We need "comprehensive immigration enforcement" to stop the multitude. It is working in states that are enforcing the laws. We need border enforcement, which is sad, but with the drug- and people-smuggling plus criminals pouring in, it has to be done, preferably with an armed military to show we mean business and get the border under control.

Stopping Use of Social Security Records for Immigration Enforcement

As you are no doubt aware, last October the federal court in San Francisco issued a preliminary injunction prohibiting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) from implementing regulations that would mandate the use of Social Security Administration (SSA) no-match letters as a tool for immigration worksite enforcement. SSA had been planning to send out 140,000 letters to employers concerning approximately 8 million workers. The injunction ensures for the time being that the rule will not cause U.S. citizens and work-authorized immigrants to lose their jobs or push undocumented workers into the underground economy because of errors in the SSA database.

However, we're awaiting a revised DHS rule any day now, which will possibly address the defects in the regulations upon which the court based the injunction. We'll work with our co-counsel in the case - the ACLU-Immigrants' Rights Project, the AFL-CIO, and the law firm of Altshuler Berzon - to analyze the new rule when it comes out, submit comments, and seek to enjoin any final rule that fails to meet legal requirements.

We'll also continue, on behalf of the Low-Wage Immigrant Worker (LWIW) Coalition, to play a leading role in responding to the DHS rule by coordinating a national organizing and advocacy strategy to counter it. The infrastructure NILC helped develop after the first DHS rule was issued will be critically important in coordinating a national response to the revised rule. We plan to immediately schedule a national call to explain the new rule and draft model comments for state and local advocates across the country to use in order to weigh in on the issue. We'll also continue to inform policymakers regarding the detrimental effects that such a rule would have on workers. For example, we organized a briefing on this issue for House members and staff that will take place March 4, 2008 at the Rayburn office building.

Obviously, they are traitorous and seditious organizations. In fact, I'll bet that ALL except for the law firm receive federal grant money to operat, which is then supplemented by the big business lobby and major donors, such as the Ford Foundation, George Soros, etc. These groups then pay their in-house and contracted lawyer firms. There is a huge pool of moeny to use to influence legislators and spend on endless lawsuits and media access.

It's mainly about these things:
An endless supply of Cheap Labor from Latin America and a goal to integrate these workers completely into our country to totally destroy our native and legal workforce. By making us totally powerless through enfranchisment of third world masses, a whole new population is created that can be led to keep particular politicial groups and politicians on top. Political power and cheap labor for business are the real reasons immigration rights groups are opposed to immigration law enforcement and successful immigration enforcement programs. We are looking at a radical shift in politics and an upheaval in American demographics resulting in the disenfranchisement of most current native American citizens.

It's a real question if most Americans will pull their heads out of x-box and digital TV long enough to see what's on the horizon before its too late.

NO borders EQUALS NO law and order.

If he wants to proove himself he can start implimenting the fence NOW.

As long as he's been talking about it, it could have been halfway completed by now.

There would be no need for amnesty if the following were done because the illegals would have no choice but to self-deport back to their countries orgin. This is why I suspect it has not been done because it might actually work and our politicians do actually want the illegals here as a source of cheap labor. We can talk about about amnesty once everything on this list has been implemented and has been official policy for a period of no less than four years:

Close the border with a wall

Make e-verify fed law and mandatory for any business in this country who hires employees.

No more drivers licenses to illegals, in any state or risk losing Federal Funding. Same goes for so called"sanctuary cities" no more or risk losing ALL Fed Funding in that state.

No more education for illegals. Nothing, not even K-12. Parents would be required to prove legal residency at time of registration. If our education system is worth protecting, then asking school administrators to verify ID is a small price to pay.

No more birthright citizenship. Any child born on US Soil will assume the nationality of his/her parents. If one parent is US Citizen, congratulations, your child is an American Citizen. We need to stop rewarding irresponsible breeding habits with American Citizenship and the benefits that go along.

No more free medical care for illegals. They can pay just like American Citizens have to.

No more welfare benefits to illegals. I know they are not legally entitled to get benefits, but we all know they do.
