Thread: Border security will soon be a moot point

Actually if we were not so deep into the Middle East I would say use the military on the border. Great training for in field observation, track and detain prisoners, intel, and most of all deportation of the illegals. Military has more equipment andmanpower along with technology to really seal off the border. This could effectivly free up ICE to start to do sweeps and work with local Law Enforcement to train them so that they can detain illegals they encounter. Illegals don't want to join the mexican army...heck they could get killed. They would rather leach off of American society.

Unfortunately, this will never happen as the United States Military and the United States Government have both stated many, many times that, "border security is not the military's job".
Of course, neither group will say who's job it is, as they don't want to ruin a good thing for the companies that hire the illegals.
