The biggest perp in this whole fiasco is George Bush, IMO. This bailout serves as a diversion of attention away from illegal immigration and the war and at the same time it serves as a tool to break the American economy and the middle class to form 'a more perfect' North American Union with a whole new currency--the Amero. A trillion extra dollars in the system, completely conjured out of thin air, will greatly reduce the value of the dollar. The FBI should be investigating Bush as well and whatever country he ends up in after he leaves office should extradite him so that justice may be served upon him. George Bush, you are filth!

Damn straight man, I want all of these crooks in jail, from the lowest man to the highest man. All of this has happened on Bush's watch. He wants to bail out his buddies and not a single one gets prosecuted? That's some major league BS! No chance we the people let this come to pass.

Keep contacting your reps and senators and let them know you will not stand for this chicanery.

I have this funny feeling that all the taxpayer OUTCRY prompted this. That gives me hope that we are still being listened to. The problem is, taxpayers have been silent for too long and have allowed Washington to do what they want.

That is so true! We know every trick in their book. Everything they touch turns to crap. Bush is working for some other bigger creeps who can't stand the thought that Americans if left alone could/would save this country and live happier lives with their families and neighbors.

YES, YES, YES everything this administration has touched, they have destroyed. They are nothing short of nation wrecking menaces. Now they have the gall to come back to us and say give us your money, blindly trust that we'll do the right thing. You fools wouldn't know what the right thing was if it bit you guys in the arse. You are all evil, evil, corrupt men and we know your up to something that is really bad for America. Why should we give into the demands of this lame duck administration that is out the door in a couple of months (thank god).

Paulson is saying he's confident this bailout will cost us far less than what will happen if we do nothing. Yet they won't give us any facts to support that claim. Raise the BS flag people. Yet they won't talk about anything that deals with cutting back on spending. They certainly won't talk about cutting pork barrel spending, spending for illegals, spending on foreign countries who hate us, it's just spend, spend, spend, print more monopoly money.

It's our money, not theirs. It's time to start controlling our destiny.

I also haven`t heard nothing about the investigation. Also the FBI investigating should be really careful. Your talking about alot of power and money here. Not to change the subject but isn`t thats what hapened with 911. Like 2 trillion dollars lost by our defense department and it was being investigated when the attach happened. Building #7 looks like it was professionally taken down thats where all the paper trail was, if I`m not mistaken.

This problem started decades ago. So one administration can't do all this.

In 2002, she told "BusinessWeek" that Fannie Mae was "very, very strong" and was "managed safely". For her efforts, driving the company to the brink, she received $26 million plus bonuses.



Fannie Mae is heavily involved with the Congressional Black Caucus. Interim CEO Daniel Mudd described the relationship Fannie Mae and the Congressional Black Caucus shared as a "family" relationship. The Caucus pressured Fannie Mae to get mortgage loans for millions of Americans who couldn't afford them. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were the worst offenders in this housing loan crisis, which in turn caused so many banking institutions to go down with it. The crisis has had a domino effect throughout our financial institutions. In fact, AIG was in part brought down because it held $600 million in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Meanwhile, President Bush has called for reforming Fannie and Freddie 17 TIMES this year alone! The democrats' fingerprints are all over this crisis.
