The mention was about 35 minutes into the first hour. Rush was talking about the huge opposition to the proposed bill S. 1348. Here's the verbatim text:
". . . Critics of the legislation who cross the political spectrum plan to use this week to turn up the pressure on senators at home. William Green or Gheen–I’m sorry–the president of Americans for Legal Immigration based in Raleigh said people are going to be piling on their senators at public events, media events and their offices over the break. They can expect large angry mobs of their constituents. I’ve never seen this degree of disparity between lawmaker and the electorate. Nearly half of US voters oppose the reform. Only 26% support it according to a Rasmussen report’s poll last week."

Misinformation causing the jamming of phone calls and letters? Give me a break. I guess our leaders really do think the American people are stupid. We can sit right at home and listen to the words coming right out of Senators' mouth on the Senate floor. That's the cause of the uproar. Did it ever occur to those empty suits in Congress that the American people are just fed up?
