Burn this ACLU book?
The director of the ACLU just told Stephen Colbert that you have the right to burn his new book.
The conversation never brought up illegal immigration but in his ranting he hinted very strongly that he feels EVERYONE IN THE WORLD is covered by the Constitution.
He continued mentioning hte Wire Taping program and the Presidents suspension of habeas corpus as the fights the ACLU is involved in at the moment. I know he mentioned these because mainstream America agrees.
He started to talk about Guantanamo but quickly changed subjects. The conversation never once mentioned the Hazelton law suit or other similar suits attempting to harm efforts against illegal immigration.
It would be interesting if someone took him up on his offer and burned his book and let him know it's because of his attack on America and his defense of illegal alien rights. (i smell a you tube video... or smoke. one of the two.)
Or at least some digital flaming of the book on Amazon's book reviews might be entertaining.
