Burning Man Organizer Plans to Host Festival Across the Street from Bundy Ranch

Behold the newest interesting twist in the Cliven Bundy case: the Nevada rancher will be getting some new neighbors soon. Burning Man organizer Sean Shealy is putting together a month-long BundyFest to take place across the street from the Bundy ranch.

In a video explaining BundyFest, Shealy says anyone can do what they want and camp anywhere they want because “it’s ****ing anarchy!” He mock-tears up telling people to thank Bundy “for the sacrifice he made” for freedom.

He does encourage people getting riled up about Bundy to calm down just a tad, saying, “Get a grip, folks. It’s about some cranky old dude and some cows in the middle of a barren desert.” And, from September 5th to October 5th, a whole bunch of BundyFesters.

Sean Shealy needs to rethink his plan to pack a bunch of hippies and nihilists into this equation to make some kind of point. First off, Sean Shealy is doing all the Burning Man attendees that do not share his political views on this situation a disservice by polarizing his events politically like this. Second, the Burning Man legacy as a freedom zone for artistic expression will be permanently damaged once associated with the fight between ranchers and the federal government. Third, Sean Shealy is making it clear that his mission is to create anarchy and problems by locating his event near the Bundy Ranch and by turning the Burning Man event into a form of weapon, Sean Shealy will create a huge list of enemies of Burning Man that did not previously exist.

IT'S NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN.

The whole thing is a SPOOF.

No one can afford a FREE month long 24 hour festival with 240 bands.

(Unless they can get the Koch brothers to back it.)
