Thread: Bush threatens no border security unless amnesty passes

Nothing different here, once Bush has his mind made up, how big the mistake just does not matter.

If Bush publicly states that he will knowing block the legislative process, he is obstructing the legislative branch of the U.S. Government. If Bush determines and publicly states that he will hold our National Security as "hostage" for a bargaining-chip on this Bill, he is not upholding his Presidential Oath of his Office. As Commander In Chief, he would be setting himself up as a U.S. traitor. Most certainly, he would be publicly seen as not protecting and preserving the U.S. of A. This would be grounds for impeachment, at a minimum.

What do you mean setting himself up as a traitor HE IS A TRAITOR! He has sold out our country to his butt buddy the president of mexico.

He is already seen by the public as not protecting the United States or our soverignty! And he has not upheld his oath of office since he became President.
What he is saying is the border can not be secure with out a comphrensive immigtration bill, and has been saying it publicly since he got involved in this bill.

Could these opinions be substantiated because impeachment is a serious offense. Saying Bush is a traitor is one thing, but providing proof is just a bit more difficult. More than opinion and circumstantial evidence is needed. I'm not siding with Bush by any stretch, but Bush has "excuses" and "poor performance" is what he gets tagged with. This goes beyond a failing grade. If Bush makes outright statements then he is not performing his duties and is subverting the Office of the President. That's an entirely different matter.

Is this moron out of his mind? He will not protect the borders unless the Senate gives amnesty as a reward to illegals for breaking into our country? I think Bush is is a psycho.

Since Bush is commander-in-chief, perhaps he could be tried under the military codes. Dereliction of duty, outright treason, or gross negligence...there is surely something that can be brought up in the military code.
