MSNBC reported today that President Bush's Chief of Staff warned that without amnesty the government would leave the border open. America is being held hostage by a crazed criminal.
Can the President of the United States really get away with blackmailing the American people??????
Calderon was absolutely right when he said...."Where there is a Mexican, there is Mexico".

It looks like we have so many crooks holding office now, that there isn't any one left to impeach Bush.

I don't know about blackmail, per se, but from what I hear he had his White House lackeys standing around with an open checkbook making deals ... and it got him 24 GOP votes for cloture. It was more bribery than blackmail -- IMHO of course.

It obvious Bush doesn't care if more Americans die in another 9-11 type of an Attack!

Accusing the President of holding the U.S. hostage for "guest worker" is taking the statement out of context. Sec. Chertoff said that the reality of the Senate compromise process requires that one side give "guest worker" in order for the other side to agree to new enforcement efforts.

In other words, the President is not the only one demanding "guest worker." The Chamber lackeys and the globalists in the Senate are also parties to the demand for "guest worker."

Any more incriminating evidence is not indicated by this video clip alone. Perhaps someone has a transcript of Pres. Bush's original statement?
One man's terrorist is another man's undocumented worker.

Unless we enforce laws against illegal aliens today,
tomorrow WE may wake up as illegals.

The last word: illegal aliens are ILLEGAL!

Wait until his immigration bill fails to pass and see how he takes revenge on us. This guy is a certifiable nut case.

Bush is going to leave the border open whether this bill gets passed or not! So what's the difference!? Our only hope is that starting the next election we begin voting out all the Senators and Representatives (if the bill gets that far) who voted for AMNESTY...and make sure that the next President is STRONG on border security and enforcement and is anti-amnesty!

You're right, CostaMesaMan. The real agenda of the Bushers is to implement the NAU/SPP. Within those plans, there is the line-item for the large continental perimeter border, but there is no need for, nor any serious plans for, a horizontal border between the U.S. and Mexico. The "border fence" is a ruse, to appease the general U.S. population because America is not aware of the covert NAU/SPP plan. The "border fence" as we speak of it now is NOT going to be constructed, except in a minimalist sense. This "border fence" will not be necessary if the NAU/SPP goes into full swing.

If the "comprehensive immigration plan" fails, the target dates of 2008 for a number of key line-items for the NAU SPP will not be met. If the immigration bill passes, we're in deep doodoo because a full horizontal "border fence" won't be built to ensure national security. The super highway will also be paved, and alllll those Mexican truckers and their "commerce" will be roaring across our continent carrying God-knows-what. And the U.S. government (read: taxpayers) will watch more and more U.S. funding for poor, lil' ole Mexico.

One thing is for sure, some watchdog is not doing his/her job by not standing up here. No formal charges have been discussed or mentioned for the President having said that he will not give security to our borders--that's a direct violation of his oath and in direct violation of the Constitution. Yet it would seem everyone in office is letting him get away with it. Lil Bush needs to be impeached, BADLY I might add.
